Burkina je u četvrtak bila u plamenu: zapaljena je Narodna skupština, zauzeta zgrada državne televizije, u unutrašnjosti se širilo nasilje i čuli su se pozivi na predsjednikovu ostavku. Ova kriza neobičnih razmjera za Afriku južno od Sahare potaknula je vojnu intervenciju.

Predsjednik Blaise Compaore koji je na vlast došao državnim udarom 1987., nije davao izjave od subote. Trebao bi to učiniti u 21.00 sat po srednjoeuropskome vremenu (20.00 sati po mjesnom) na dvjema radijskim postajama u Ouagadougouu, rekli su novinari tih radija sa čijim čelnicima AFP nije mogao stupiti u vezu.

Izvršnu i zakonodavnu vlast obnašat će prijelazno tijelo, sa zadaćom ponovne uspostave ustavnog poretka "u roku od 12 mjeseci", navodi se u priopćenju zapovjednika glavnog vojnog stožera Naberea Honorea Traorea koje je pročitao jedan časnik na tiskovnoj konferenciji.

Prosvjednici su zasad prilično loše primili vijest o preuzimanju vlasti, izvijestio je novinar AFP-a. Nekoliko stotina njih pozvalo je na mirne prosvjede u prijestolnici kako bi se spriječio državni udar.

Vlast je jutros pokušala umiriti duhove najavivši otkazivanje glasovanja o prijedlogu ustavnih promjena zakazano za četvrtak, koji je i potaknuo pobunu.

Afrička unija je izrazila "veliku zabrinutost" i pozvala je "sve strane da budu suzdržane".

Europska unija je pak pozvala na "što bržu uspostavu dijaloga" i na prekid nasilja.

Otkazani su letovi za Ouagadougou, ali je jedan zrakoplov poletio tijekom popodneva, javio je AFP.

Burkina je zapala u krizu 21. listopada, s najavom prijedloga ustavnih promjena po kojima bi najveći mogući broj predsjedničkih mandata porastao s dva na tri.

Burkina je u četvrtak bila u plamenu: zapaljena je Narodna skupština, zauzeta zgrada državne televizije, u unutrašnjosti se širilo nasilje i čuli su se pozivi na predsjednikovu ostavku. Ova kriza neobičnih razmjera za Afriku južno od Sahare potaknula je vojnu intervenciju.

Predsjednik Blaise Compaore koji je na vlast došao državnim udarom 1987., nije davao izjave od subote. Trebao bi to učiniti u 21.00 sat po srednjoeuropskome vremenu (20.00 sati po mjesnom) na dvjema radijskim postajama u Ouagadougouu, rekli su novinari tih radija sa čijim čelnicima AFP nije mogao stupiti u vezu.

Izvršnu i zakonodavnu vlast obnašat će prijelazno tijelo, sa zadaćom ponovne uspostave ustavnog poretka "u roku od 12 mjeseci", navodi se u priopćenju zapovjednika glavnog vojnog stožera Naberea Honorea Traorea koje je pročitao jedan časnik na tiskovnoj konferenciji.

Prosvjednici su zasad prilično loše primili vijest o preuzimanju vlasti, izvijestio je novinar AFP-a. Nekoliko stotina njih pozvalo je na mirne prosvjede u prijestolnici kako bi se spriječio državni udar.

Vlast je jutros pokušala umiriti duhove najavivši otkazivanje glasovanja o prijedlogu ustavnih promjena zakazano za četvrtak, koji je i potaknuo pobunu.

Afrička unija je izrazila "veliku zabrinutost" i pozvala je "sve strane da budu suzdržane".

Europska unija je pak pozvala na "što bržu uspostavu dijaloga" i na prekid nasilja.

Otkazani su letovi za Ouagadougou, ali je jedan zrakoplov poletio tijekom popodneva, javio je AFP.

Burkina je zapala u krizu 21. listopada, s najavom prijedloga ustavnih promjena po kojima bi najveći mogući broj predsjedničkih mandata porastao s dva na tri.
