Tristotinjak stanovnika Istre i mještana pogranične Bujštine i znatno manje stanovnika slovenskog pograničnog područja, okupilo se u subotu na graničnom prijelazu Sveta Lucija - Brezovica s obje strane žilet-žice, koju je na granicu postavila Slovenija, prosvjedujući zajedno protiv, kako su istaknuli, svih žica koje stoje na putu ljudskoj slobodi.
"Žica ubojica", "Žica mijenja navike", "Protiv života u žici", "Europa počiva u žilet-žici", samo su neki od transparenata kojima su okupljeni stanovnici iskazali ogorčenje i negodovanje zbog postavljene žice, a slovenski prosvjednici donijeli su slamnatu lutku s likom premijera Mire Cirara i stavili je na žicu.
Žica u Istri, Europi i svijetu velika je sramota, dokaz neslobode, pokazatelj straha, ona predstavlja sve ono što nisu vrijednosti istarskog čovjeka - a to su tolerancija, miroljubivost, sloboda i otvorenost, poručila je Natalija Grgorinić iz Ližnjana. "Ovo nije rješenje, to nije poziv na dijalog već je to širenje straha, mržnje i neprijateljstva, onaj koji je tu žicu postavio neka dođe i neka je skine! Europa si ne smije dozvoliti da šalje poruku bodljikave žice prema svijetu,“ rekla je i naglasila da su ljudi zgroženi tim "činom barbarstvom i nasilja".
"Ako smo Europljani i poštujemo europske vrijednosti, moramo se prisjetiti da je ta bodljikava žica donijela velike rane našem kontinentu, ne puno godina unazad,“ rekla je. Na toj žici umiru životinje, ona je ekološka, moralna ekološka i ljudska katastrofa, rekla je i zaključila kako se time ponavlja povijest mraka i neslobode.
Među brojnim kulturnim djelatnicima s hrvatske strane bila je i direktorica sajma Sa(n)jam knjige Magdalena Vodopija, koja je rekla je kako je spremna ostati uz tu žicu "koja nas guši" dok je se ne makne. „Prijavila bih se za noćnu smjenu, ovako ograđeni žicama usred Istre ne možemo opstati, a ovaj prosvjed dokazuje veliki revolt građana,“ istaknula je Vodopija.
Poznati istarski etnomuzikolog Dario Marušić je poručio kako je „žica definitno intervencija u dušu“; načelnik općine Oprtalj Aleksander Krt je istaknuo da su žice simbol ljudske patnje i nisu rješenje; književnik Danijel Načinović okupljenima je pročitao pjesmu na engleskom jeziku o slobodi i toleranciji.
Najavljena odbojka odigrana je samo simbolično, u nekoliko prebacivanja lopte perko žice, a "drugo poluvrijeme" će se održati poslijepodne na graničnom prijelazu Kaštel-Dragonja.

Tristotinjak stanovnika Istre i mještana pogranične Bujštine i znatno manje stanovnika slovenskog pograničnog područja, okupilo se u subotu na graničnom prijelazu Sveta Lucija - Brezovica s obje strane žilet-žice, koju je na granicu postavila Slovenija, prosvjedujući zajedno protiv, kako su istaknuli, svih žica koje stoje na putu ljudskoj slobodi.
"Žica ubojica", "Žica mijenja navike", "Protiv života u žici", "Europa počiva u žilet-žici", samo su neki od transparenata kojima su okupljeni stanovnici iskazali ogorčenje i negodovanje zbog postavljene žice, a slovenski prosvjednici donijeli su slamnatu lutku s likom premijera Mire Cirara i stavili je na žicu.
Žica u Istri, Europi i svijetu velika je sramota, dokaz neslobode, pokazatelj straha, ona predstavlja sve ono što nisu vrijednosti istarskog čovjeka - a to su tolerancija, miroljubivost, sloboda i otvorenost, poručila je Natalija Grgorinić iz Ližnjana. "Ovo nije rješenje, to nije poziv na dijalog već je to širenje straha, mržnje i neprijateljstva, onaj koji je tu žicu postavio neka dođe i neka je skine! Europa si ne smije dozvoliti da šalje poruku bodljikave žice prema svijetu,“ rekla je i naglasila da su ljudi zgroženi tim "činom barbarstvom i nasilja".
"Ako smo Europljani i poštujemo europske vrijednosti, moramo se prisjetiti da je ta bodljikava žica donijela velike rane našem kontinentu, ne puno godina unazad,“ rekla je. Na toj žici umiru životinje, ona je ekološka, moralna ekološka i ljudska katastrofa, rekla je i zaključila kako se time ponavlja povijest mraka i neslobode.
Među brojnim kulturnim djelatnicima s hrvatske strane bila je i direktorica sajma Sa(n)jam knjige Magdalena Vodopija, koja je rekla je kako je spremna ostati uz tu žicu "koja nas guši" dok je se ne makne. „Prijavila bih se za noćnu smjenu, ovako ograđeni žicama usred Istre ne možemo opstati, a ovaj prosvjed dokazuje veliki revolt građana,“ istaknula je Vodopija.
Poznati istarski etnomuzikolog Dario Marušić je poručio kako je „žica definitno intervencija u dušu“; načelnik općine Oprtalj Aleksander Krt je istaknuo da su žice simbol ljudske patnje i nisu rješenje; književnik Danijel Načinović okupljenima je pročitao pjesmu na engleskom jeziku o slobodi i toleranciji.
Najavljena odbojka odigrana je samo simbolično, u nekoliko prebacivanja lopte perko žice, a "drugo poluvrijeme" će se održati poslijepodne na graničnom prijelazu Kaštel-Dragonja.
