Katar, zemlja domaćin Svjetskog nogometnog prvenstva 2022., nada se da će privući više od 1.2 milijuna inozemnih navijača tijekom turnira, što je gotovo polovica stanovništva ovog zaljevskog emirata.

"Očekujemo dolazak više od 1.2 milijuna gledatelja tijekom Svjetskog prvenstva, koje će se održati od 21. studenoga do 18. prosinca 2022. Uz hotele koji su već dostupni, razvijat će se inovativna i privremena rješenja kako bi se poželjela dobrodošlica javnosti u ovoj zemlji od 2,75 milijuna stanovnika", rekla je Fatma al-Nuaimi, direktorica Odjela komunikacija Organizacijskog odbora Svjetskog prvenstva. 

Posjetitelji se tako mogu smjestiti na kruzere, u privatne kuće ili u navijačka naselja, a izgradit će se i 16 plutajućih hotela ukupnog kapaciteta 1600 soba.

Ranije je Organizacijski odbor rekao da računa na dolazak 1.5 milijuna posjetitelja prije, za vrijeme i nakon turnira, koji će trajati 28 dana. Međutim, neki navijači i komentatori već su izrazili zabrinutost zbog nedostatka zabave planirane u ovoj konzervativnoj muslimanskoj zemlji i malo povezana s prazničnim duhom koji prati Svjetska prvenstva.

"Alkoholna pića bit će dopuštena u određenim područjima", rekla je Nuaimi, priznajući da alkohol nije dio katarske kulture.

Osim toga, međunarodne nevladine organizacije redovito osuđuju emirat zbog tretmana rezerviranog za stotine tisuća radnika iz Afrike i Azije na gradilištima za Svjetsko prvenstvo. Nekoliko europskih momčadi, uključujući Njemačku i Norvešku, poduzelo je inicijativu da pokaže svoju podršku ljudskim pravima prije kvalifikacijskih utakmica za Svjetsko prvenstvo. Katarske vlasti redovito su tvrdile da su "uvijek bile transparentne po pitanju zdravlja i sigurnosti radnika", dok neke novine spominju velike ljudske žrtve.

Pet od osam stadiona koji će ugostiti utakmice Svjetskog prvenstva već je otvoreno, a gradnja stadiona Lusail, na kojem će se igrati finale, završena je u rasponu od 98.5 posto.

Katar, zemlja domaćin Svjetskog nogometnog prvenstva 2022., nada se da će privući više od 1.2 milijuna inozemnih navijača tijekom turnira, što je gotovo polovica stanovništva ovog zaljevskog emirata.

"Očekujemo dolazak više od 1.2 milijuna gledatelja tijekom Svjetskog prvenstva, koje će se održati od 21. studenoga do 18. prosinca 2022. Uz hotele koji su već dostupni, razvijat će se inovativna i privremena rješenja kako bi se poželjela dobrodošlica javnosti u ovoj zemlji od 2,75 milijuna stanovnika", rekla je Fatma al-Nuaimi, direktorica Odjela komunikacija Organizacijskog odbora Svjetskog prvenstva. 

Posjetitelji se tako mogu smjestiti na kruzere, u privatne kuće ili u navijačka naselja, a izgradit će se i 16 plutajućih hotela ukupnog kapaciteta 1600 soba.

Ranije je Organizacijski odbor rekao da računa na dolazak 1.5 milijuna posjetitelja prije, za vrijeme i nakon turnira, koji će trajati 28 dana. Međutim, neki navijači i komentatori već su izrazili zabrinutost zbog nedostatka zabave planirane u ovoj konzervativnoj muslimanskoj zemlji i malo povezana s prazničnim duhom koji prati Svjetska prvenstva.

"Alkoholna pića bit će dopuštena u određenim područjima", rekla je Nuaimi, priznajući da alkohol nije dio katarske kulture.

Osim toga, međunarodne nevladine organizacije redovito osuđuju emirat zbog tretmana rezerviranog za stotine tisuća radnika iz Afrike i Azije na gradilištima za Svjetsko prvenstvo. Nekoliko europskih momčadi, uključujući Njemačku i Norvešku, poduzelo je inicijativu da pokaže svoju podršku ljudskim pravima prije kvalifikacijskih utakmica za Svjetsko prvenstvo. Katarske vlasti redovito su tvrdile da su "uvijek bile transparentne po pitanju zdravlja i sigurnosti radnika", dok neke novine spominju velike ljudske žrtve.

Pet od osam stadiona koji će ugostiti utakmice Svjetskog prvenstva već je otvoreno, a gradnja stadiona Lusail, na kojem će se igrati finale, završena je u rasponu od 98.5 posto.

Katar se nada da će privući preko milijun inozemnih posjetitelja za vrijeme Svjetskog prvenstva u nogometu 2022.

Katar, zemlja domaćin Svjetskog nogometnog prvenstva 2022., nada se da će privući više od 1.2 milijuna inozemnih navijača tijekom turnira, što je gotovo polovica stanovništva ovog zaljevskog emirata.

"Očekujemo dolazak više od 1.2 milijuna gledatelja tijekom Svjetskog prvenstva, koje će se održati od 21. studenoga do 18. prosinca 2022. Uz hotele koji su već dostupni, razvijat će se inovativna i privremena rješenja kako bi se poželjela dobrodošlica javnosti u ovoj zemlji od 2,75 milijuna stanovnika", rekla je Fatma al-Nuaimi, direktorica Odjela komunikacija Organizacijskog odbora Svjetskog prvenstva. 

Posjetitelji se tako mogu smjestiti na kruzere, u privatne kuće ili u navijačka naselja, a izgradit će se i 16 plutajućih hotela ukupnog kapaciteta 1600 soba.
