U razmaku od svega 24 sata dvoje uglednih novina objavilo je posve oprečne informacije kada će se održati Europsko nogometno prvenstvo koje se ovoga ljeta trebalo održati u 12 gradova u 12 zemalja.

Ugledni francuski sportski dnevnik L’Equipe objavio je kako će EURO biti odgođen za godinu dana zbog epidemije koronavirusa, dok je engleski The Telegraph objavio kako bi se europsko prvenstvo moglo organizirati u prosincu ove godine.

U ovakvim okolnostima u kojima se ne zna kada će i hoće li uopće biti završena nacionalna prvenstva te uz činjenicu da se virus širi i u nekim zemljama koje bi trebale organizirati EP, gotovo je izvjesno da se isto neće moći organizirati, a da jamči potpunu zdravstvenu sigurnost sudionicima i navijačima.

L'Equipe tvrdi da je odluka već donesena, jer se očekuje da će UEFA objaviti da će EURO 2020. postati EURO 2021.

Međutim, na "Otoku" tvrde drugačije. Naime, prema njihovim informacijama iz povjerljivih izvora, nogometno prvenstvo bit će pomaknuto za prosinac i održat će se na zimu.

"UEFA će razmotriti pomicanje EURO-a kako bi omogućila Premiershipu i drugim klupskim natjecanjima da nadoknade utakmice zbog kaosa koji je napravio korona virus," piše ugledni list.

Europsko prvenstvo bi trebalo početi 12. lipnja ove godine utakmicom između Turske i Italije u Rimu. Hrvatska je smještena u skupinu D zajedno s Engleskom, Češkom i jednom od četiri ekipe iz kvartera Škotska, Srbija, Norveška i Izrael.

"Vatreni" bi trebali prvu utakmicu igrati 14. lipnja u Londonu protiv Engleske, a iduće dvije utakmice u Glasgowu protiv Češke (19. lipnja) i još uvijek nepoznate ekipe (23. lipnja).

UEFA je najavila kako će se sljedećeg utorka održati velika video konferencija s čelnicima svih 55 zemalja članica te predstavnicima ECA-e, FIFPro-a i europskih liga kako bi se razgovaralo o daljnjim koracima koje će europski nogomet poduzeti u kontekstu pandemije novog koronavirusa, a na temu domaćih i europskih klupskih natjecanja, kao i EURA 2020.

U razmaku od svega 24 sata dvoje uglednih novina objavilo je posve oprečne informacije kada će se održati Europsko nogometno prvenstvo koje se ovoga ljeta trebalo održati u 12 gradova u 12 zemalja.

Ugledni francuski sportski dnevnik L’Equipe objavio je kako će EURO biti odgođen za godinu dana zbog epidemije koronavirusa, dok je engleski The Telegraph objavio kako bi se europsko prvenstvo moglo organizirati u prosincu ove godine.

U ovakvim okolnostima u kojima se ne zna kada će i hoće li uopće biti završena nacionalna prvenstva te uz činjenicu da se virus širi i u nekim zemljama koje bi trebale organizirati EP, gotovo je izvjesno da se isto neće moći organizirati, a da jamči potpunu zdravstvenu sigurnost sudionicima i navijačima.

L'Equipe tvrdi da je odluka već donesena, jer se očekuje da će UEFA objaviti da će EURO 2020. postati EURO 2021.

Međutim, na "Otoku" tvrde drugačije. Naime, prema njihovim informacijama iz povjerljivih izvora, nogometno prvenstvo bit će pomaknuto za prosinac i održat će se na zimu.

"UEFA će razmotriti pomicanje EURO-a kako bi omogućila Premiershipu i drugim klupskim natjecanjima da nadoknade utakmice zbog kaosa koji je napravio korona virus," piše ugledni list.

Europsko prvenstvo bi trebalo početi 12. lipnja ove godine utakmicom između Turske i Italije u Rimu. Hrvatska je smještena u skupinu D zajedno s Engleskom, Češkom i jednom od četiri ekipe iz kvartera Škotska, Srbija, Norveška i Izrael.

"Vatreni" bi trebali prvu utakmicu igrati 14. lipnja u Londonu protiv Engleske, a iduće dvije utakmice u Glasgowu protiv Češke (19. lipnja) i još uvijek nepoznate ekipe (23. lipnja).

UEFA je najavila kako će se sljedećeg utorka održati velika video konferencija s čelnicima svih 55 zemalja članica te predstavnicima ECA-e, FIFPro-a i europskih liga kako bi se razgovaralo o daljnjim koracima koje će europski nogomet poduzeti u kontekstu pandemije novog koronavirusa, a na temu domaćih i europskih klupskih natjecanja, kao i EURA 2020.

Britanski Telegraph javlja da će se Europsko prvenstvo održati u prosincu, L‘Equipe tvrdi da će se pomaknuti za sljedeće ljeto

U razmaku od svega 24 sata dvoje uglednih novina objavilo je posve oprečne informacije kada će se održati Europsko nogometno prvenstvo koje se ovoga ljeta trebalo održati u 12 gradova u 12 zemalja.

Ugledni francuski sportski dnevnik L’Equipe objavio je kako će EURO biti odgođen za godinu dana zbog epidemije koronavirusa, dok je engleski The Telegraph objavio kako bi se europsko prvenstvo moglo organizirati u prosincu ove godine.

U ovakvim okolnostima u kojima se ne zna kada će i hoće li uopće biti završena nacionalna prvenstva te uz činjenicu da se virus širi i u nekim zemljama koje bi trebale organizirati EP, gotovo je izvjesno da se isto neće moći organizirati, a da jamči potpunu zdravstvenu sigurnost sudionicima i navijačima.
