Glavni odbor FIBA Europe, europskog ogranka Međunarodne košarkaške federacije, odlučio je otkazati sva u ožujku prekinuta klupska natjecanja pod svojim okriljem pa će mjesto za pobjednice Eurolige i Eurokupa za košarkašice te osvajače Europa kupa za košarkaše u sezoni 2019./20. ostati upražnjena.

Na video konferenciji održanoj u ponedjeljak Odbor FIBA Europe je donio odluku da će nova klupska sezona 2020./21. započeti krajem rujna i početkom listopada s gledateljima na tribinama ili bez njih, ovisno o epidemiološkim preporukama lokalnih vlasti. U slučaju novog vala pandemije izazvane širenjem koronavirusa i nemogućnosti početka natjecanja u predviđenom terminu, on će biti odgođen za siječanj 2021., uz promjenu sustava natjecanja.

Čelnici europskog ogranka FIBA-e donijeli su odluke i o reprezentativnim natjecanjima, odnosno nastavku kvalifikacija za EuroBasket 2022. za košarkaše i EuroBasket 2021. za košarkašice.

I za reprezentativne nastupe u studenome ove godine vrijedit će odredba o odigravanju utakmica sa ili bez nazočnosti gledatelja na tribinama, ovisno o lokalnoj regulativi. Kod košarkašica, u slučaju da u studenome neće biti moguće poštovati predviđeni kalendar natjecanja, dvoboji će biti odgođeni za veljaču 2021., kad bi, umjesto dvije, bile odigrane četiri utakmice u produženom rasponu od dva tjedna.

Hrvatske seniorke pod vodstvom izbornika Stipe Bralića startale su u kvalifikacije uvjerljivim pobjedama na gostovanju u Latviji (83-65) i na domaćem parketu protiv Njemačke (93-86). U studenome ih čekaju dva domaćinstva, protiv reprezentacije Sjeverne Makedonije (12.11.) i izabrane vrste Latvije (15.11.). Prvoplasirana reprezentacija iz svake skupine te još pet najboljih drugoplasiranih će izboriti nastup na završnom turniru koji bi od 17. do 27. lipnja 2021. trebao biti održan u Italiji i Španjolskoj.

Kod košarkaša bi u slučaju odgode dvoboja predviđenih za studeni 2020. isti bili prebačeni u veljaču 2021., a završetak kvalifikacija bi onda bio odigran za srpanj sljedeće godine i bio bi smješten između kraja kvalifikacijskih turnira za OI u Tokiju i početka olimpijskog turnira.

Hrvatski košarkaši su vodeći u svojoj skupini pobjedama nad Švedskom u Zagrebu i na gostovanju u Nizozemskoj, a u studenome ih očekuje domaći dvoboj s Turskom i put u Švedsku. Izabranici Veljka Mršića bi već i jednom pobjedom u te dvije utakmice mogli potvrditi nastup na EuroBasketu 2022. kojem su zajednički domaćini Češka, Gruzija, Njemačka i Italija.

Glavni odbor FIBA Europe, europskog ogranka Međunarodne košarkaške federacije, odlučio je otkazati sva u ožujku prekinuta klupska natjecanja pod svojim okriljem pa će mjesto za pobjednice Eurolige i Eurokupa za košarkašice te osvajače Europa kupa za košarkaše u sezoni 2019./20. ostati upražnjena.

Na video konferenciji održanoj u ponedjeljak Odbor FIBA Europe je donio odluku da će nova klupska sezona 2020./21. započeti krajem rujna i početkom listopada s gledateljima na tribinama ili bez njih, ovisno o epidemiološkim preporukama lokalnih vlasti. U slučaju novog vala pandemije izazvane širenjem koronavirusa i nemogućnosti početka natjecanja u predviđenom terminu, on će biti odgođen za siječanj 2021., uz promjenu sustava natjecanja.

Čelnici europskog ogranka FIBA-e donijeli su odluke i o reprezentativnim natjecanjima, odnosno nastavku kvalifikacija za EuroBasket 2022. za košarkaše i EuroBasket 2021. za košarkašice.

I za reprezentativne nastupe u studenome ove godine vrijedit će odredba o odigravanju utakmica sa ili bez nazočnosti gledatelja na tribinama, ovisno o lokalnoj regulativi. Kod košarkašica, u slučaju da u studenome neće biti moguće poštovati predviđeni kalendar natjecanja, dvoboji će biti odgođeni za veljaču 2021., kad bi, umjesto dvije, bile odigrane četiri utakmice u produženom rasponu od dva tjedna.

Hrvatske seniorke pod vodstvom izbornika Stipe Bralića startale su u kvalifikacije uvjerljivim pobjedama na gostovanju u Latviji (83-65) i na domaćem parketu protiv Njemačke (93-86). U studenome ih čekaju dva domaćinstva, protiv reprezentacije Sjeverne Makedonije (12.11.) i izabrane vrste Latvije (15.11.). Prvoplasirana reprezentacija iz svake skupine te još pet najboljih drugoplasiranih će izboriti nastup na završnom turniru koji bi od 17. do 27. lipnja 2021. trebao biti održan u Italiji i Španjolskoj.

Kod košarkaša bi u slučaju odgode dvoboja predviđenih za studeni 2020. isti bili prebačeni u veljaču 2021., a završetak kvalifikacija bi onda bio odigran za srpanj sljedeće godine i bio bi smješten između kraja kvalifikacijskih turnira za OI u Tokiju i početka olimpijskog turnira.

Hrvatski košarkaši su vodeći u svojoj skupini pobjedama nad Švedskom u Zagrebu i na gostovanju u Nizozemskoj, a u studenome ih očekuje domaći dvoboj s Turskom i put u Švedsku. Izabranici Veljka Mršića bi već i jednom pobjedom u te dvije utakmice mogli potvrditi nastup na EuroBasketu 2022. kojem su zajednički domaćini Češka, Gruzija, Njemačka i Italija.

Glavni odbor FIBA Europe, europskog ogranka Međunarodne košarkaške federacije, odlučio je otkazati sva u ožujku prekinuta klupska natjecanja pod svojim okriljem pa će mjesto za pobjednice Eurolige i Eurokupa za košarkašice te osvajače Europa kupa za košarkaše u sezoni 2019./20. ostati upražnjena.

Na video konferenciji održanoj u ponedjeljak Odbor FIBA Europe je donio odluku da će nova klupska sezona 2020./21. započeti krajem rujna i početkom listopada s gledateljima na tribinama ili bez njih, ovisno o epidemiološkim preporukama lokalnih vlasti. U slučaju novog vala pandemije izazvane širenjem koronavirusa i nemogućnosti početka natjecanja u predviđenom terminu, on će biti odgođen za siječanj 2021., uz promjenu sustava natjecanja.
