Jeste li ikad čuli za mujaču? Vjerujemo da će na ovo potvrdno odgovoriti tek rijetki, jer riječ je o stanovniku Jadrana kojeg se relativno rijetko viđa. Toliko rijetko da njegov ulov postaje vijest. Pa je tako bilo i u posljednjem slučaju koji je dospio u javnost i to zahvaljujući izvrsnoj Facebook grupi Jadranska malakološka grupa, u kojoj je Rino Stanić, inače diplomirani inžinjer bioloških znanosti i stručnjak za taksonomiju morskih mekušaca, "prijavio" ulov i to rekordan - ako vas baš zanima do u detalje, težak točno 3464 grama i dug 912 mm. Rečena mujača ulovljena je, kako je naveo, kod Visa i to okružujučom mrežom plivaricom.

Za sve koji nemaju pojma o čemu to sad uopće čitaju, evo kratkog tečaja poznavanja mujače: riječ je o morskoj beštijici službenog naziva sipanjak (lat. Ocythoe tuberculata), koja se ubraja u glavonošce iz reda oktopoda. Mujaču nazivaju i pelagička hobotnica zato što slobodno pliva u pelagiju (zoni otvorenog mora), a i naoko je slična hobotnici.

Od ostalih se članova istog reda razlikuje po tome što nema kožu između krakova. Zapravo, mujača je jedinstvena u svijetu glavonožaca: jedina rađa žive mlade. Jedinstvena je, vjerovali ili ne i među mekušcima: jedina ima plivaći mjehur (samo ženski primjerci).

Sudeći po podatku da ženke ove vrste narastu do jednog metra, a mužjak do svega 10 centimetara, moguće je da je primjerak ulovljen kod Visa muškić. Inače žive u velikim jatima na pučinama, a obično se ulove noću kad plivarice svijetle u dubinu ili uz obalu kod lova s feralom.

E i ako ste se pitali, ne, nikad nismo čuli za mujaču. Znamo da se hobotnica naziva i muja, ali mujača nam je bila enigma. Pa smo potegli joker zovi. Splitsku peškariju. Ne službeno, nego našeg "čovika" na splitskoj peškariji, odnosno entuzijasta iza Facebook stranice istog imena. Obratili smo mu se s pitanjem je li viđao mujaču po bancima splitske ribarnice i ako je, je li možda čuo kako bi se ta rodica od hobotnice mogla najbolje pripremiti.

Naš nas je kontakt odmah na početku glatko "ispalio". Da se mujača ne viđa po peškariji, možda tek tu i tamo, pomiješana s muzgavcima i sličnim morskim bićima pa nam je stoga i pitanje skroz bezveze. Odvrativši mu da tko pita ne skita ipak smo izvukli još koji podatak, uključujući i ključni - što s mujačom ako nam padne šaka.

- Najbolje bi je bilo bacit pod peku ili je lipo lešat pa na salatu - zaključio je naš peškarijski insajder, a nama se prijedlog učinio sasvim logičnim.

Ali i dalje nas je nešto kopkalo pa smo se dali u potragu i to po inozemnim mrežnim stranicama jer mujača, osim u Jadranu, živi i u Sredozemnom moru te u Atlantiku. Nakon malo guglanja pronašli smo jednostavan recept i to iz španjolske Galicije. Nudimo vam ga da vam se nađe dođe li vam pod ruku koja mujača, a neće biti na odmet ako pripremate sasvim običnu dobro poznatu hobotnicu.

Hobotnica na galicijski (Pulpo gallego)

Sastojci:

750 g hobotnice
60 ml maslinovog ulja
4 velika krumpira
1 žlica mljevene slatke paprike
sol

Priprema:

Hobotnicu očistite i zamrznite preko noći. 

Sutradan zakuhajte lonac vode pa čim uzavre u vodu ubacite hobotnicu i kuhajte je dok ne omekša, što će vjerojatno potrajati oko 1 sat.

Pola sata prije kraja kuhanja hobotnice odvojeno stavite kuhati krumpire u komadu. Nakon što se skuhaju, ogulite ih i narežite na ploške.

Provjerite je li skuhana tako što ćete je ubosti nožem na mjestu gdje se spajaju krakovi i glava. Ako lako uđe, možete ugasiti vatru i procijediti vodu.

Ohlađenu hobotnicu narežite na komade veličine zalogaja.

Rasporedite ploške krumpira na tanjur za posluživanje pa ih začinite. Na vrh stavite hobotnicu. Sve pokapajte maslinovim uljem i pospite mljevenom slatkom paprikom te poslužite.

Jeste li ikad čuli za mujaču? Vjerujemo da će na ovo potvrdno odgovoriti tek rijetki, jer riječ je o stanovniku Jadrana kojeg se relativno rijetko viđa. Toliko rijetko da njegov ulov postaje vijest. Pa je tako bilo i u posljednjem slučaju koji je dospio u javnost i to zahvaljujući izvrsnoj Facebook grupi Jadranska malakološka grupa, u kojoj je Rino Stanić, inače diplomirani inžinjer bioloških znanosti i stručnjak za taksonomiju morskih mekušaca, "prijavio" ulov i to rekordan - ako vas baš zanima do u detalje, težak točno 3464 grama i dug 912 mm. Rečena mujača ulovljena je, kako je naveo, kod Visa i to okružujučom mrežom plivaricom.

Za sve koji nemaju pojma o čemu to sad uopće čitaju, evo kratkog tečaja poznavanja mujače: riječ je o morskoj beštijici službenog naziva sipanjak (lat. Ocythoe tuberculata), koja se ubraja u glavonošce iz reda oktopoda. Mujaču nazivaju i pelagička hobotnica zato što slobodno pliva u pelagiju (zoni otvorenog mora), a i naoko je slična hobotnici.

Od ostalih se članova istog reda razlikuje po tome što nema kožu između krakova. Zapravo, mujača je jedinstvena u svijetu glavonožaca: jedina rađa žive mlade. Jedinstvena je, vjerovali ili ne i među mekušcima: jedina ima plivaći mjehur (samo ženski primjerci).

Sudeći po podatku da ženke ove vrste narastu do jednog metra, a mužjak do svega 10 centimetara, moguće je da je primjerak ulovljen kod Visa muškić. Inače žive u velikim jatima na pučinama, a obično se ulove noću kad plivarice svijetle u dubinu ili uz obalu kod lova s feralom.

E i ako ste se pitali, ne, nikad nismo čuli za mujaču. Znamo da se hobotnica naziva i muja, ali mujača nam je bila enigma. Pa smo potegli joker zovi. Splitsku peškariju. Ne službeno, nego našeg "čovika" na splitskoj peškariji, odnosno entuzijasta iza Facebook stranice istog imena. Obratili smo mu se s pitanjem je li viđao mujaču po bancima splitske ribarnice i ako je, je li možda čuo kako bi se ta rodica od hobotnice mogla najbolje pripremiti.

Naš nas je kontakt odmah na početku glatko "ispalio". Da se mujača ne viđa po peškariji, možda tek tu i tamo, pomiješana s muzgavcima i sličnim morskim bićima pa nam je stoga i pitanje skroz bezveze. Odvrativši mu da tko pita ne skita ipak smo izvukli još koji podatak, uključujući i ključni - što s mujačom ako nam padne šaka.

- Najbolje bi je bilo bacit pod peku ili je lipo lešat pa na salatu - zaključio je naš peškarijski insajder, a nama se prijedlog učinio sasvim logičnim.

Ali i dalje nas je nešto kopkalo pa smo se dali u potragu i to po inozemnim mrežnim stranicama jer mujača, osim u Jadranu, živi i u Sredozemnom moru te u Atlantiku. Nakon malo guglanja pronašli smo jednostavan recept i to iz španjolske Galicije. Nudimo vam ga da vam se nađe dođe li vam pod ruku koja mujača, a neće biti na odmet ako pripremate sasvim običnu dobro poznatu hobotnicu.

Hobotnica na galicijski (Pulpo gallego)

Sastojci:

750 g hobotnice
60 ml maslinovog ulja
4 velika krumpira
1 žlica mljevene slatke paprike
sol

Priprema:

Hobotnicu očistite i zamrznite preko noći. 

Sutradan zakuhajte lonac vode pa čim uzavre u vodu ubacite hobotnicu i kuhajte je dok ne omekša, što će vjerojatno potrajati oko 1 sat.

Pola sata prije kraja kuhanja hobotnice odvojeno stavite kuhati krumpire u komadu. Nakon što se skuhaju, ogulite ih i narežite na ploške.

Provjerite je li skuhana tako što ćete je ubosti nožem na mjestu gdje se spajaju krakovi i glava. Ako lako uđe, možete ugasiti vatru i procijediti vodu.

Ohlađenu hobotnicu narežite na komade veličine zalogaja.

Rasporedite ploške krumpira na tanjur za posluživanje pa ih začinite. Na vrh stavite hobotnicu. Sve pokapajte maslinovim uljem i pospite mljevenom slatkom paprikom te poslužite.
