Splitski heavy metal band Vega, sve više privlači pozornost medija, posebno nakon nedavnog nastupa s Goranom Barom i Majkama na zajedničkom koncertu na tvrđavi Gripe.
Vega je pritom predstavila pjesme s albuma “S trnom u srcu”, a ovo im je treći zajednički nastup. Aktivni metalci rade i na novom albumu, a pripremaju i suradnje s poznatim hard rock bandovima.
- Majke su jedan od pet bandova u Hrvatskoj koje mogu podnit. Nas inače najviše vole Finci. Znaju sve naše pjesme, a pjevaju ih na hrvatskom, što je zanimljivo za čuti.
To nam je izvrstan povod da eventualno odemo do Finske - rekao je Dražen Markotić, frontmen Vege. Osim brojnih skandinavskih obožavatelja, Rock Radio iz Helsinkija konstantno “vrti” Vegine pjesme.
Puno ljeto koncerata
Prije Gripa, Vega je imala uspješan nastup na Lastovu, na otvaranju festivala “Otok glazbe”, a sada planiraju mini turneju po Hrvatskoj (Zagreb, Šibenik), Sloveniji (Ljubljana, Tolmin) te po Bosni i Hercegovini.
- U kolovozu planiramo održati memorijalni koncert u Sinju za mog poginulog prijatelja Branu, gdje ćemo izvesti njemu posvećenu pjesmu “Embrio novog svijeta” - kaže Dražen, koji inače sam piše pjesme za band.
Krajem osmog mjeseca, Vega će nastupiti na moto-partyju na Korčuli, a već priprema i novi album, no čeka se povoljan trenutak za ulazak u studio. Devet pjesama već je gotovo, a još je neizvjesno tko će biti izdavač.
Imaju i novi spot za pjesmu “U dvoje protiv svijeta”, koji slovi kao visokobudžetni MTV-jevski produkcijski primjerak. Takav status mogu zahvaliti dobrim sponzorima, kao i kreativnim idejama cjelokupnog banda.
Jesen je doba za “pravu turneju”, navodi Dražen. Tada će opet krenuti od Slovenije preko Slavonije i obuhvatiti cijelu Hrvatsku.
- Osim toga, na pomolu je i moguća glazbena suradnja s Divljim jagodama, kojima ćemo biti gosti na jesen na njihovu koncertu - zaključuje Dražen Markotić.

Splitski heavy metal band Vega, sve više privlači pozornost medija, posebno nakon nedavnog nastupa s Goranom Barom i Majkama na zajedničkom koncertu na tvrđavi Gripe.
Vega je pritom predstavila pjesme s albuma “S trnom u srcu”, a ovo im je treći zajednički nastup. Aktivni metalci rade i na novom albumu, a pripremaju i suradnje s poznatim hard rock bandovima.
- Majke su jedan od pet bandova u Hrvatskoj koje mogu podnit. Nas inače najviše vole Finci. Znaju sve naše pjesme, a pjevaju ih na hrvatskom, što je zanimljivo za čuti.
To nam je izvrstan povod da eventualno odemo do Finske - rekao je Dražen Markotić, frontmen Vege. Osim brojnih skandinavskih obožavatelja, Rock Radio iz Helsinkija konstantno “vrti” Vegine pjesme.
Puno ljeto koncerata
Prije Gripa, Vega je imala uspješan nastup na Lastovu, na otvaranju festivala “Otok glazbe”, a sada planiraju mini turneju po Hrvatskoj (Zagreb, Šibenik), Sloveniji (Ljubljana, Tolmin) te po Bosni i Hercegovini.
- U kolovozu planiramo održati memorijalni koncert u Sinju za mog poginulog prijatelja Branu, gdje ćemo izvesti njemu posvećenu pjesmu “Embrio novog svijeta” - kaže Dražen, koji inače sam piše pjesme za band.
Krajem osmog mjeseca, Vega će nastupiti na moto-partyju na Korčuli, a već priprema i novi album, no čeka se povoljan trenutak za ulazak u studio. Devet pjesama već je gotovo, a još je neizvjesno tko će biti izdavač.
Imaju i novi spot za pjesmu “U dvoje protiv svijeta”, koji slovi kao visokobudžetni MTV-jevski produkcijski primjerak. Takav status mogu zahvaliti dobrim sponzorima, kao i kreativnim idejama cjelokupnog banda.
Jesen je doba za “pravu turneju”, navodi Dražen. Tada će opet krenuti od Slovenije preko Slavonije i obuhvatiti cijelu Hrvatsku.
- Osim toga, na pomolu je i moguća glazbena suradnja s Divljim jagodama, kojima ćemo biti gosti na jesen na njihovu koncertu - zaključuje Dražen Markotić.
