Bogdanovich je najpoznatiji po klasicima Posljednja kino predstava, Što te tata pušta samu, Mjesec od papira i Maska.

Peter Bogdanovich, američki filmski redatelj i scenarist i jedan od prvaka 'novog Hollywooda', preminuo je u svom domu u Los Angelesu u dobi od 82. godine. Njegova kćerka Antonia Bogdanovich rekla je medijima kako je njen otac umro prirodnom smrću, prenosi Jutarnji.hr.

Bogdanovich je najpoznatiji po klasicima Posljednja kino predstava, Što te tata pušta samu, Mjesec od papira i Maska.

Bogdanovich je bio židovsko-srpskog porijekla. Naime, njegova majka bila je Herma Robinson, židovskog porijekla, a otac Borislav Bogdanović srpskog porijekla.

Karijeru je započeo kao filmski kritičar, a prvu priliku, kao i mnogim mladim režiserima, dao mu je legendarni Roger Corman, za kojeg je snimio danas kultne Mete. Proslavio se već svojim drugim filmom Posljednja kino predstava, za koji je zaradio nominaciju za Oscara za najbolju režiju. Posljednja kino predstava od njega je stvorila novu redateljsku zvijezdu, no ujedno i označila početak brojnih skandala i tragedija koji su mu obilježili život. Naime, tada se rastavio od dotadašnje supruge Polly Platt kako bi započeo vezu s glumicom Cybill Sheppard, zvijezdom filma koji ga je proslavio. Dok je trajala njihova veza Bogdanovich je uživao i najveći ugled u Hollywoodu, nizajući hitove poput Što te tata pušta samu, Mjesec od papira i Kino za groš.

Veza Bogdanovicha i Sheppard okončana je krajem 1979., a nakon toga je počeo ljubavnu vezu sa Playboyevom ljepoticom Dorothy Stratten, koju je angažirao u svojoj romantičnoj komediji Svi su se smijali. Ta veza je okončana Stratteninim brutalnim ubistvom od strane bivšeg muža Paula Snidera, a Bogdanovicha je smrt duboko potresla, te se zapravo nikad nije oporavio od tog šoka. U osamdesetima je njegova karijera krenula stramputicom. Iz tog razdoblja pamtit će se samo njegov hit Maska, a osim komercijalnih neuspjeha doživio je i bankrot. Njegovom statusu nije pomogla ni nova veza s Dorothynom osam godina mlađom sestrom Louise (i 29 godina mlađa od njega), za koju se vjenčao 1988. godine i koju je javnost osudila.

Do kraja karijere Bogdanovich nije više uspio snimiti film koji bi se kvalitetom približio njegovim najboljim ostvarenjima te se posvetio pisanju knjiga i filmskih kritika.

Bogdanovich je najpoznatiji po klasicima Posljednja kino predstava, Što te tata pušta samu, Mjesec od papira i Maska.

Peter Bogdanovich, američki filmski redatelj i scenarist i jedan od prvaka 'novog Hollywooda', preminuo je u svom domu u Los Angelesu u dobi od 82. godine. Njegova kćerka Antonia Bogdanovich rekla je medijima kako je njen otac umro prirodnom smrću, prenosi Jutarnji.hr.

Bogdanovich je najpoznatiji po klasicima Posljednja kino predstava, Što te tata pušta samu, Mjesec od papira i Maska.

Bogdanovich je bio židovsko-srpskog porijekla. Naime, njegova majka bila je Herma Robinson, židovskog porijekla, a otac Borislav Bogdanović srpskog porijekla.

Karijeru je započeo kao filmski kritičar, a prvu priliku, kao i mnogim mladim režiserima, dao mu je legendarni Roger Corman, za kojeg je snimio danas kultne Mete. Proslavio se već svojim drugim filmom Posljednja kino predstava, za koji je zaradio nominaciju za Oscara za najbolju režiju. Posljednja kino predstava od njega je stvorila novu redateljsku zvijezdu, no ujedno i označila početak brojnih skandala i tragedija koji su mu obilježili život. Naime, tada se rastavio od dotadašnje supruge Polly Platt kako bi započeo vezu s glumicom Cybill Sheppard, zvijezdom filma koji ga je proslavio. Dok je trajala njihova veza Bogdanovich je uživao i najveći ugled u Hollywoodu, nizajući hitove poput Što te tata pušta samu, Mjesec od papira i Kino za groš.

Veza Bogdanovicha i Sheppard okončana je krajem 1979., a nakon toga je počeo ljubavnu vezu sa Playboyevom ljepoticom Dorothy Stratten, koju je angažirao u svojoj romantičnoj komediji Svi su se smijali. Ta veza je okončana Stratteninim brutalnim ubistvom od strane bivšeg muža Paula Snidera, a Bogdanovicha je smrt duboko potresla, te se zapravo nikad nije oporavio od tog šoka. U osamdesetima je njegova karijera krenula stramputicom. Iz tog razdoblja pamtit će se samo njegov hit Maska, a osim komercijalnih neuspjeha doživio je i bankrot. Njegovom statusu nije pomogla ni nova veza s Dorothynom osam godina mlađom sestrom Louise (i 29 godina mlađa od njega), za koju se vjenčao 1988. godine i koju je javnost osudila.

Do kraja karijere Bogdanovich nije više uspio snimiti film koji bi se kvalitetom približio njegovim najboljim ostvarenjima te se posvetio pisanju knjiga i filmskih kritika.

Bogdanovich je najpoznatiji po klasicima Posljednja kino predstava, Što te tata pušta samu, Mjesec od papira i Maska.

Peter Bogdanovich, američki filmski redatelj i scenarist i jedan od prvaka 'novog Hollywooda', preminuo je u svom domu u Los Angelesu u dobi od 82. godine. Njegova kćerka Antonia Bogdanovich rekla je medijima kako je njen otac umro prirodnom smrću, prenosi Jutarnji.hr.

Bogdanovich je najpoznatiji po klasicima Posljednja kino predstava, Što te tata pušta samu, Mjesec od papira i Maska.

Bogdanovich je bio židovsko-srpskog porijekla. Naime, njegova majka bila je Herma Robinson, židovskog porijekla, a otac Borislav Bogdanović srpskog porijekla.

Karijeru je započeo kao filmski kritičar, a prvu priliku, kao i mnogim mladim režiserima, dao mu je legendarni Roger Corm...
