Napadi vukova u Kistanjama predstavljaju ozbiljnu prijetnju lokalnom stanovništvu i stoci. Nedavni incidenti u kojima su vukovi napali obitelj Štrbac i druge mještane, te nanijeli štetu stoci, izazvali su strah i zabrinutost među lokalnom zajednicom.
Huanita Štrbac, zajedno sa svojom djecom, bila je suočena s opasnošću dok je čuvala stoku na polju. Napad dvojice vukova prisilio ju je da hitno skupi svoju obitelj i stoku te se vrati kući, uz pomoć svojih pasa koji su ih čuvali.
"Bilo je skupi djecu, skupi blago i moli Boga da sve prođe u redu", kaže Huanita koja nije imala druge nego da okupi 24 ovce, devet koza, dvije krave i djecu, dok su ih čuvala četiri psa.
U tom se trenutku najviše prestrašila za djecu. "Panika i strah, noge ne slušaju, a moraš krenuti. Skupila sam njih, u biti više je moja Anastasija trčala skupljati ih nego ja. Blokada. I ništa, krenuli smo kući. Psi su nas okružili, ovi mlađi su stali, a onda su došli veći i krenuli. Nisam gledala ni kud idu, ni gdje, ni šta rade", prisjetila se.
Saša Štrbac, koji se već suočio s napadom vukova u prošlosti, ističe da su napadi postali svakodnevna pojava. On ima sedam velikih pasa za obranu od vukova i vjeruje da će uskoro morati imati po jednog psa za svaku domaću životinju.
"To je bio napad za napadom. Prema nama su ta dva krenula, u Štrbcima su zadavili tri ovce, napali su dvije žene i u Bezbradicama su napali jednu ženu, ne znam je li bilo tu štete. Od Laškovice do Nunića, to je nekih 20 kilometara. Na tih 20 kilometara je viđeno preko 30 jedinki vuka u zadnjih mjesec dana. Sam taj čopor u Kistanjama, ljudi ga viđaju, on tu patrolira već nekih dobrih tri-četiri mjeseca. Prije neki dan je napao čovjeka kraj željezničke postaje, zadavio mu dvoje janjaca i dvije ovce", kaže.
Lovci izražavaju zabrinutost zbog učestalih napada vukova te ističu potrebu za konkretnijim mjerama zaštite. Predlažu mogućnost odstrjela prekobrojnih jedinki kao jednu od mjera za suzbijanje problema.
Ministarstvo zaštite okoliša razmatra ovu mogućnost, što bi moglo biti korak prema rješavanju problema.

Napadi vukova u Kistanjama predstavljaju ozbiljnu prijetnju lokalnom stanovništvu i stoci. Nedavni incidenti u kojima su vukovi napali obitelj Štrbac i druge mještane, te nanijeli štetu stoci, izazvali su strah i zabrinutost među lokalnom zajednicom.
Huanita Štrbac, zajedno sa svojom djecom, bila je suočena s opasnošću dok je čuvala stoku na polju. Napad dvojice vukova prisilio ju je da hitno skupi svoju obitelj i stoku te se vrati kući, uz pomoć svojih pasa koji su ih čuvali.
"Bilo je skupi djecu, skupi blago i moli Boga da sve prođe u redu", kaže Huanita koja nije imala druge nego da okupi 24 ovce, devet koza, dvije krave i djecu, dok su ih čuvala četiri psa.
U tom se trenutku najviše prestrašila za djecu. "Panika i strah, noge ne slušaju, a moraš krenuti. Skupila sam njih, u biti više je moja Anastasija trčala skupljati ih nego ja. Blokada. I ništa, krenuli smo kući. Psi su nas okružili, ovi mlađi su stali, a onda su došli veći i krenuli. Nisam gledala ni kud idu, ni gdje, ni šta rade", prisjetila se.
Saša Štrbac, koji se već suočio s napadom vukova u prošlosti, ističe da su napadi postali svakodnevna pojava. On ima sedam velikih pasa za obranu od vukova i vjeruje da će uskoro morati imati po jednog psa za svaku domaću životinju.
"To je bio napad za napadom. Prema nama su ta dva krenula, u Štrbcima su zadavili tri ovce, napali su dvije žene i u Bezbradicama su napali jednu ženu, ne znam je li bilo tu štete. Od Laškovice do Nunića, to je nekih 20 kilometara. Na tih 20 kilometara je viđeno preko 30 jedinki vuka u zadnjih mjesec dana. Sam taj čopor u Kistanjama, ljudi ga viđaju, on tu patrolira već nekih dobrih tri-četiri mjeseca. Prije neki dan je napao čovjeka kraj željezničke postaje, zadavio mu dvoje janjaca i dvije ovce", kaže.
Lovci izražavaju zabrinutost zbog učestalih napada vukova te ističu potrebu za konkretnijim mjerama zaštite. Predlažu mogućnost odstrjela prekobrojnih jedinki kao jednu od mjera za suzbijanje problema.
Ministarstvo zaštite okoliša razmatra ovu mogućnost, što bi moglo biti korak prema rješavanju problema.
