Umro je profesor Milan Mile Maretić, prvi biogradski gradonačelnik u slobodnoj Hrvatskoj.

Milan Maretić rođen je 21. kolovoza 1940. godine u Podumcima, Općina Unešić kod Drniša. Osmogodišnju školu završio je u Šibeniku, a klasičnu gimnaziju u Splitu. Na Pedagoškoj akademiji u Zadru završio je studij matematike, a u Rijeci Pedagoški fakultet, izvijestio je Radio Biograd na Moru.

U Osnovnoj školi Biograd radi od 1970. kao nastavnik matematike sve do 1984. kada postaje ravnatelj Srednje škole Biograd gdje ostaje sve do 1990.

Na prvim demokratskim izborima 1990. izabran je za predsjednika SO-a Biograd, a dužnost predsjednika obnašao je do konca mandata 1993.

Milan Maretić odgovorno je i savjesno obnašao dužnost predsjednika SO - Biograd tijekom Domovinskog rata.

U dva mandata bio je vijećnik Gradskog vijeća, a dobitnik je i nagrade za Životno djelo grada Biograda na Moru, 2009. godine.

Sa suprugom Jelom Bogdan ima sina Juru.

Generacijama kojima je predavao matematiku ostat će u pamćenju kao strog i pravedan profesor.

Umro je profesor Milan Mile Maretić, prvi biogradski gradonačelnik u slobodnoj Hrvatskoj.

Milan Maretić rođen je 21. kolovoza 1940. godine u Podumcima, Općina Unešić kod Drniša. Osmogodišnju školu završio je u Šibeniku, a klasičnu gimnaziju u Splitu. Na Pedagoškoj akademiji u Zadru završio je studij matematike, a u Rijeci Pedagoški fakultet, izvijestio je Radio Biograd na Moru.

U Osnovnoj školi Biograd radi od 1970. kao nastavnik matematike sve do 1984. kada postaje ravnatelj Srednje škole Biograd gdje ostaje sve do 1990.

Na prvim demokratskim izborima 1990. izabran je za predsjednika SO-a Biograd, a dužnost predsjednika obnašao je do konca mandata 1993.

Milan Maretić odgovorno je i savjesno obnašao dužnost predsjednika SO - Biograd tijekom Domovinskog rata.

U dva mandata bio je vijećnik Gradskog vijeća, a dobitnik je i nagrade za Životno djelo grada Biograda na Moru, 2009. godine.

Sa suprugom Jelom Bogdan ima sina Juru.

Generacijama kojima je predavao matematiku ostat će u pamćenju kao strog i pravedan profesor.

Umro je profesor Milan Mile Maretić, prvi biogradski gradonačelnik u slobodnoj Hrvatskoj.

Milan Maretić rođen je 21. kolovoza 1940. godine u Podumcima, Općina Unešić kod Drniša. Osmogodišnju školu završio je u Šibeniku, a klasičnu gimnaziju u Splitu. Na Pedagoškoj akademiji u Zadru završio je studij matematike, a u Rijeci Pedagoški fakultet, izvijestio je Radio Biograd na Moru.

U Osnovnoj školi Biograd radi od 1970. kao nastavnik matematike sve do 1984. kada postaje ravnatelj Srednje škole Biograd gdje ostaje sve do 1990.

Na prvim demokratskim izborima 1990. izabran je za predsjednika SO-a Biograd, a dužnost predsjednika obnašao je do konca mandata 1993.

Milan Maretić odgovorno je i savjesno obnašao dužnost predsjednika SO - Biograd tijekom Domovinskog rata.

U dva mandata bio je vijećnik Gradskog vijeća, a dobitnik je i nagrade za Životno djelo grada Biograda na Moru, 2009. godine.

Sa suprugom Jelom Bogdan ima sina Juru.

Generacijama kojima je predavao matematiku ostat će u pamćenju kao strog i pravedan profesor.
