Svjetionik na Viru plijeni pozornost domaćih i gostiju. Svako je ljeto zanimanje onih koji se tu žele odmarati sve veće, što i ne čudi s obzirom da se radi o smještajnom objektu najviše kategorije.

Rezidencijalna Villa Lanterna kategorizirana je kao luksuzna kuća za odmor s pet zvjezdica, namijenjena gostima veće platežne moći. Interijer i eksterijer potpuno su obnovljeni prije osam godina, a uređeni su u kombiniranju tradicionalnih mediteranskih elemenata s modernim stilom. Za sve goste Ville Lanterne tvrtka "Vir turizam" u ponudi ima batlera, kuhara i spremačicu, kao i mogućnost svakodnevnog cateringa.

- Ove smo godine zbog situacije s koronavirusom imali otkazivanje dolazaka gostiju jer su granice bile zatvorene, ali rezervacije su pomaknute za 2021. godinu, tako da već sada imamo punu popunjenost za dva mjeseca sljedeće godine. Lanterna zaista simbolički predstavlja početak nove ere virskog turizma koji se ne razvija stihijski nego planski - ističe voditelj turističke agencije "Vir turizam" Mate Čulina.

Tako je stari virski svjetionik, koji će sljedeće godine obilježiti 140 godina od izgradnje, proživio svoj dugi vijek od objekta isključivo pomorske namjene do turističkog objekta namijenjenog odmoru. Nekoliko je puta obnavljan, produžujući svoju mladost i vitalnost, o čemu na modernistički način svjedoče solarni paneli na Lanterni i objektu s jacuzzijem. Tridesetak solarnih panela kapaciteta 14kw s tihim agregatom jačine 80kw, s kojim su paneli izravno povezani pa se agregat automatski pali kada solarima treba dodatne snage, dio su njegove nove gospodarske, ekološke i osviještene priče o turističkoj namjeni i održivosti.

Uz puste svjetionike često su vezane legende o blagu skrivenom u škrinjama, ali virski svjetionik ponudio je jednu sasvim drukčiju legendu: onu o sabljarki nešto manjoj od 3 metra i teškoj 110 kila. Ako je vjerovati ribičkim ili svjetioničarskim pričama, ulovio ju je osamdesetih godina svjetioničar Zakarija Begić, nakon duge i iscrpljujuće borbe u Virskom moru.

- Četiri sata sam se zafrkavao s njom, a digao je na panulu. Vidio sam je danima prije kako skače i pitao se hoću li je možda moći uloviti. Moja tunja je bila od milimetra i pol, pa kada se sabljarka uhvatila, sve sam odmotao. Oko sto metara, i još po prilici šest metara konopa. Poslije četiri sata borbe uspio sam je odvući u pličinu i onda udariti veslom. Vraže, svu sam je prebio i napokon izvukao vani. Ona od sto i deset kilograma, a ja jedva šezdesetak - ovim je riječima Begić opisivao epsku borbu u priči koju je prije desetak godina objavila Slobodna Dalmacija.

Brojni svjetioničari i svjetioničarske obitelji službovale su na virskom svjetioniku, no tek su u njegovo novije vrijeme stanari virske Lanterne postajali i Virani, kazuje profesor Ive Bašić u monografiji "Vir, povijest mog otoka". Tako su Nediljko Čepić, Šime Radović i Miro Radović Pijažini bili prvi među njima, potom i Tomislav Bašić Jakovićev, Ivica Budija Radin te Miro Žepina i Dražen Žepina. Šime Radović zvani Mimo bio je posljednji lanternist na virskoj Lanterni.---

Svjetionik na Viru plijeni pozornost domaćih i gostiju. Svako je ljeto zanimanje onih koji se tu žele odmarati sve veće, što i ne čudi s obzirom da se radi o smještajnom objektu najviše kategorije.

Rezidencijalna Villa Lanterna kategorizirana je kao luksuzna kuća za odmor s pet zvjezdica, namijenjena gostima veće platežne moći. Interijer i eksterijer potpuno su obnovljeni prije osam godina, a uređeni su u kombiniranju tradicionalnih mediteranskih elemenata s modernim stilom. Za sve goste Ville Lanterne tvrtka "Vir turizam" u ponudi ima batlera, kuhara i spremačicu, kao i mogućnost svakodnevnog cateringa.

- Ove smo godine zbog situacije s koronavirusom imali otkazivanje dolazaka gostiju jer su granice bile zatvorene, ali rezervacije su pomaknute za 2021. godinu, tako da već sada imamo punu popunjenost za dva mjeseca sljedeće godine. Lanterna zaista simbolički predstavlja početak nove ere virskog turizma koji se ne razvija stihijski nego planski - ističe voditelj turističke agencije "Vir turizam" Mate Čulina.

Tako je stari virski svjetionik, koji će sljedeće godine obilježiti 140 godina od izgradnje, proživio svoj dugi vijek od objekta isključivo pomorske namjene do turističkog objekta namijenjenog odmoru. Nekoliko je puta obnavljan, produžujući svoju mladost i vitalnost, o čemu na modernistički način svjedoče solarni paneli na Lanterni i objektu s jacuzzijem. Tridesetak solarnih panela kapaciteta 14kw s tihim agregatom jačine 80kw, s kojim su paneli izravno povezani pa se agregat automatski pali kada solarima treba dodatne snage, dio su njegove nove gospodarske, ekološke i osviještene priče o turističkoj namjeni i održivosti.

Uz puste svjetionike često su vezane legende o blagu skrivenom u škrinjama, ali virski svjetionik ponudio je jednu sasvim drukčiju legendu: onu o sabljarki nešto manjoj od 3 metra i teškoj 110 kila. Ako je vjerovati ribičkim ili svjetioničarskim pričama, ulovio ju je osamdesetih godina svjetioničar Zakarija Begić, nakon duge i iscrpljujuće borbe u Virskom moru.

- Četiri sata sam se zafrkavao s njom, a digao je na panulu. Vidio sam je danima prije kako skače i pitao se hoću li je možda moći uloviti. Moja tunja je bila od milimetra i pol, pa kada se sabljarka uhvatila, sve sam odmotao. Oko sto metara, i još po prilici šest metara konopa. Poslije četiri sata borbe uspio sam je odvući u pličinu i onda udariti veslom. Vraže, svu sam je prebio i napokon izvukao vani. Ona od sto i deset kilograma, a ja jedva šezdesetak - ovim je riječima Begić opisivao epsku borbu u priči koju je prije desetak godina objavila Slobodna Dalmacija.

Brojni svjetioničari i svjetioničarske obitelji službovale su na virskom svjetioniku, no tek su u njegovo novije vrijeme stanari virske Lanterne postajali i Virani, kazuje profesor Ive Bašić u monografiji "Vir, povijest mog otoka". Tako su Nediljko Čepić, Šime Radović i Miro Radović Pijažini bili prvi među njima, potom i Tomislav Bašić Jakovićev, Ivica Budija Radin te Miro Žepina i Dražen Žepina. Šime Radović zvani Mimo bio je posljednji lanternist na virskoj Lanterni.---
