Nisu Amerikanci bez veze osmislili "home made" etikete koje su im bile od itekakve koristi za dignut cijene proizvoda, a naše žene s pazara desetljećima su ispred svoga vremena jer je u zapadnim državama "green food" rezerviran za one malo bogatije. Uvijek se više cijenilo (i naplaćivalo) ono domaće, a materina spiza je postala superlativ kada je u pitanju dalmatinska kuhinja.

Nije rijetkost ni da se ono što je nekoć bila hrana za sirotinju danas nudi turistima kao delicija, i to po nemaloj cijeni. Poljički soparnik, komiška pogača, srdele na sauru postali su cijenjeni specijaliteti. Sve ono što su nam govorili naši stari došlo je na svoje.
Ta "home made" kuhinja ne ide bez domaćih namirnica, pa mnogi Splićani odlaze na pazar kako bi nabavili povrće koje je "friško, domaće, ja ga jutros ubrala u vrtlu, za tebe momak može jeftinije".

E, pa javio nam se jedan momak koji baš i nije 100 posto siguran da je prošao jeftinije. Kaže da ako mu računica štima, ispada da ga je ramstek koštao jeftinije nego brokula. Da, dobro ste pročitali, brokula je također postala elitna namirnica!
- U mesnici u kojoj inače kupujem, 250 grama ramsteka bez kosti me izašlo 3,80 eura. U nekim mesnicama prodaju skuplje, ali ovaj moj je pošten, on otkida kost pa tek onda stavi na vagu, a ostali sve skupa važu pa naplaćuju više - govori naš čitatelj.

Nakon dobrog ulova u mesnici uputio se na splitski Pazar da kupi i prilog za današnji ručak. Otišao je na banak žene, kod koje inače kupuje, jer ona garantira da je sve iz domaćeg uzgoja. Kupio je jaja, pola kile prokulica i jednu malu brokulu. Cijena? Devet eura.

Kaže da je povrće kod nas skuplje nego u Londonu, jer ono koje se prodaje na pazaru košta više od povrća u londonskim, najskupljim, organskim, hipsterskim "green food" marketima.
Vjerojatno smo i mi počeli slijediti zapadne trendove pa će uskoro i kod nas boca vode biti skuplja od boce "coca-cole", kao što je to slučaj u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama.
McDonald´s menu možda uskoro bude jeftiniji od srdela s peškarije, a hrenovka s pumpe povoljnija od domaćeg kupusa. Možda se svi pretvorimo u jedan veliki hamburger, a s obzirom na to da se predviđa da će do kraja desetljeća u Hrvatskoj biti više od milijun pretilih osoba, na dobrom smo putu. Dobar tek!

Nisu Amerikanci bez veze osmislili "home made" etikete koje su im bile od itekakve koristi za dignut cijene proizvoda, a naše žene s pazara desetljećima su ispred svoga vremena jer je u zapadnim državama "green food" rezerviran za one malo bogatije. Uvijek se više cijenilo (i naplaćivalo) ono domaće, a materina spiza je postala superlativ kada je u pitanju dalmatinska kuhinja.

Nije rijetkost ni da se ono što je nekoć bila hrana za sirotinju danas nudi turistima kao delicija, i to po nemaloj cijeni. Poljički soparnik, komiška pogača, srdele na sauru postali su cijenjeni specijaliteti. Sve ono što su nam govorili naši stari došlo je na svoje.
Ta "home made" kuhinja ne ide bez domaćih namirnica, pa mnogi Splićani odlaze na pazar kako bi nabavili povrće koje je "friško, domaće, ja ga jutros ubrala u vrtlu, za tebe momak može jeftinije".

E, pa javio nam se jedan momak koji baš i nije 100 posto siguran da je prošao jeftinije. Kaže da ako mu računica štima, ispada da ga je ramstek koštao jeftinije nego brokula. Da, dobro ste pročitali, brokula je također postala elitna namirnica!
- U mesnici u kojoj inače kupujem, 250 grama ramsteka bez kosti me izašlo 3,80 eura. U nekim mesnicama prodaju skuplje, ali ovaj moj je pošten, on otkida kost pa tek onda stavi na vagu, a ostali sve skupa važu pa naplaćuju više - govori naš čitatelj.

Nakon dobrog ulova u mesnici uputio se na splitski Pazar da kupi i prilog za današnji ručak. Otišao je na banak žene, kod koje inače kupuje, jer ona garantira da je sve iz domaćeg uzgoja. Kupio je jaja, pola kile prokulica i jednu malu brokulu. Cijena? Devet eura.
- Ta mala brokula me koštala skoro četiri eura, sa svim onim granama koje ne jedem. Brokula, jedna mala brokula - u nevjerici će naš čitatelj.

Kaže da je povrće kod nas skuplje nego u Londonu, jer ono koje se prodaje na pazaru košta više od povrća u londonskim, najskupljim, organskim, hipsterskim "green food" marketima.
Vjerojatno smo i mi počeli slijediti zapadne trendove pa će uskoro i kod nas boca vode biti skuplja od boce "coca-cole", kao što je to slučaj u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama.
McDonald´s menu možda uskoro bude jeftiniji od srdela s peškarije, a hrenovka s pumpe povoljnija od domaćeg kupusa. Možda se svi pretvorimo u jedan veliki hamburger, a s obzirom na to da se predviđa da će do kraja desetljeća u Hrvatskoj biti više od milijun pretilih osoba, na dobrom smo putu. Dobar tek!
