Poštujući kritike današnje proizvodnje u kojoj je sve masovnije, pa i nekvalitetnije nego nekad, kao i prigovore nostalgičara da je prije sve bilo bolje, čini se da su suvremeni automobili napredovali u performansama. Jedna od njih je i sigurnost vožnje.
Osiguravateljski institut za sigurnost na cestama (IIHS) je američka udruga čiji je cilj poboljšati sigurnost na cestama. Adrian Lund radio je u IIHS-u više od tri desetljeća, a od od 2006. do 2017. godine bio je predsjednik, dakle zna o čemu govori.

On je nedavno snimio video u kojem se prisjetio sudara u BMW-u 540i (2020. godište), piše HAK revija .
U rano subotnje jutro u kolovozu, vozio je autocestom oko 100 kilometar na sat kada se iznenada ispred njega, kako je rekao, pojavio BMW 228i iz 2016. godine, koji je vozio u krivom smjeru, i frontalno ga udario.

– Da se ova nesreća dogodila prije 10 godina, vjerojatno ne bih s vama pričao – rekao je Lund.
ON je u nesreći zadobio ozljede, ali je ostao živ. Nažalost, druga vozačica, 29-godišnjakinja koja se polukružno okrenula na autocesti i krenula u krivom smjeru, nije preživjela. Nije bila vezana pojasom i izbačena je iz vozila.

- Uzmite u obzir da je i nesretna vozačica jurila barem 100 km/h i da je sila sudara bila stravična. Procjenjuje se da je snaga sudara bila kao da je vozač udario u prepreku pri brzini 160 km/h. Iako stručnjak za sigurnost na cestama nije rekao nešto posebno novo, njegovo bogato iskustvo u branši, kao i ono osobno daje njegovim riječima dodatnu težinu. Pri kupnji automobila stoga se čini važnijim gledati kakav mu je stupanj sigurnosti nego koliko mu sekundi treba da dođe do sto na sat.

Poštujući kritike današnje proizvodnje u kojoj je sve masovnije, pa i nekvalitetnije nego nekad, kao i prigovore nostalgičara da je prije sve bilo bolje, čini se da su suvremeni automobili napredovali u performansama. Jedna od njih je i sigurnost vožnje.
Osiguravateljski institut za sigurnost na cestama (IIHS) je američka udruga čiji je cilj poboljšati sigurnost na cestama. Adrian Lund radio je u IIHS-u više od tri desetljeća, a od od 2006. do 2017. godine bio je predsjednik, dakle zna o čemu govori.

On je nedavno snimio video u kojem se prisjetio sudara u BMW-u 540i (2020. godište), piše HAK revija .
U rano subotnje jutro u kolovozu, vozio je autocestom oko 100 kilometar na sat kada se iznenada ispred njega, kako je rekao, pojavio BMW 228i iz 2016. godine, koji je vozio u krivom smjeru, i frontalno ga udario.

– Da se ova nesreća dogodila prije 10 godina, vjerojatno ne bih s vama pričao – rekao je Lund.
ON je u nesreći zadobio ozljede, ali je ostao živ. Nažalost, druga vozačica, 29-godišnjakinja koja se polukružno okrenula na autocesti i krenula u krivom smjeru, nije preživjela. Nije bila vezana pojasom i izbačena je iz vozila.

- Uzmite u obzir da je i nesretna vozačica jurila barem 100 km/h i da je sila sudara bila stravična. Procjenjuje se da je snaga sudara bila kao da je vozač udario u prepreku pri brzini 160 km/h. Iako stručnjak za sigurnost na cestama nije rekao nešto posebno novo, njegovo bogato iskustvo u branši, kao i ono osobno daje njegovim riječima dodatnu težinu. Pri kupnji automobila stoga se čini važnijim gledati kakav mu je stupanj sigurnosti nego koliko mu sekundi treba da dođe do sto na sat.
