Računalno generirana slika, s ekstra paketom filmske opreme u vidu “treće dimenzije“, još uvijek najbolje prijanja animiranim filmovima. Probajte samo zamisliti scene poput “oluje hrane“ u igranom filmu. Teško, čak i da istoga potpisuje James Cameron (“Avatar“), zar ne?

U svijetu crtića sve je dozvoljeno. Tim svijetom kraljuje Pixar i svaki novi studio mora dorasti izazovima koje su nametnula njegova remek-djela “WALL-E“ ili “Nebesa“. Studio Sony već je imao dodira s digitalno generiranom slikom (“Sezona lova“), ali “Oblačno s ćuftama“, utemeljen na slikovnici iz 80-ih Judi i Rona Barretta, predstavlja njihov debi na polju računalno animirana 3D-a.

Treća dimenzija u Sonyjevu tehnički besprijekornu crtiću malčice je (ipak) predimenzionirana, valjda zbog silne potrebe da se doraste Pixarovu izazovu. A i “veće znači bolje“, uvjerava nas jedan od likova, dok bivamo spektakularno bombardirani golemom količinom hrane koja poput kiše pada sa neba. Ovo nije napisano metaforički. Hrana doslovno pljušti u “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs“.

Zasluga je to zapleta fokusirana na mladog znanstvenika, inače stanovnika otoka na Atlanskom oceanu, na tragu Amityja, koji živi isključivo od ribolova. Kad tržište pokosi kriza, mladić odluči spasiti situaciju i stvara stroj koji kondenziranu vlagu iz oblaka pretvara u spizu (mahom “fast food“ - hamburgeri, pizza...).

U želji da mu gradić, čiji su žitelji već siti ribljeg menija, postane turistička atrakcija neograničena izobilja na granici dekadencije, gradonačelnik - bahat i pohlepan kao onaj u “Raljama“ - naručuje sve veće porcije hrane. Stroj će se oteti kontroli, a delikatesne padaline zaprijetiti čitavom planetu nepogodama poput “tornada špageta“.

Ono što do odjavne špice slijedi akcijska je komedija u domeni suvremena filma katastrofe, gdje će se spektakl ponašati prema parametrima tog žanra koje su 90-ih udarili “Armageddon“ i “Twister“ (među ostalim, stradat će New York i Pariz). Humor je poletan, likovi su simpatični, 3D animacija oku ugodna i vedra, akcija suluda, tempo njezina nizanja vrlo žustar.

Srećom, (preko)brojne akcijske scene ne odvraćaju fokus s po(r)uka koje se nenametljivo provlače (lekcija o “zalogajima većim od stomaka“ i zdravoj prehrani, ali i ekologiji).

Djeca odgojena na vizualno živahnim animiranim blockbusterima zasigurno će namiriti apetit. “Oblačno s ćuftama“ mogao bi biti ukusan i “starcima”. Obiteljska večera je servirana.

Računalno generirana slika, s ekstra paketom filmske opreme u vidu “treće dimenzije“, još uvijek najbolje prijanja animiranim filmovima. Probajte samo zamisliti scene poput “oluje hrane“ u igranom filmu. Teško, čak i da istoga potpisuje James Cameron (“Avatar“), zar ne?

U svijetu crtića sve je dozvoljeno. Tim svijetom kraljuje Pixar i svaki novi studio mora dorasti izazovima koje su nametnula njegova remek-djela “WALL-E“ ili “Nebesa“. Studio Sony već je imao dodira s digitalno generiranom slikom (“Sezona lova“), ali “Oblačno s ćuftama“, utemeljen na slikovnici iz 80-ih Judi i Rona Barretta, predstavlja njihov debi na polju računalno animirana 3D-a.

Treća dimenzija u Sonyjevu tehnički besprijekornu crtiću malčice je (ipak) predimenzionirana, valjda zbog silne potrebe da se doraste Pixarovu izazovu. A i “veće znači bolje“, uvjerava nas jedan od likova, dok bivamo spektakularno bombardirani golemom količinom hrane koja poput kiše pada sa neba. Ovo nije napisano metaforički. Hrana doslovno pljušti u “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs“.

Zasluga je to zapleta fokusirana na mladog znanstvenika, inače stanovnika otoka na Atlanskom oceanu, na tragu Amityja, koji živi isključivo od ribolova. Kad tržište pokosi kriza, mladić odluči spasiti situaciju i stvara stroj koji kondenziranu vlagu iz oblaka pretvara u spizu (mahom “fast food“ - hamburgeri, pizza...).

U želji da mu gradić, čiji su žitelji već siti ribljeg menija, postane turistička atrakcija neograničena izobilja na granici dekadencije, gradonačelnik - bahat i pohlepan kao onaj u “Raljama“ - naručuje sve veće porcije hrane. Stroj će se oteti kontroli, a delikatesne padaline zaprijetiti čitavom planetu nepogodama poput “tornada špageta“.

Ono što do odjavne špice slijedi akcijska je komedija u domeni suvremena filma katastrofe, gdje će se spektakl ponašati prema parametrima tog žanra koje su 90-ih udarili “Armageddon“ i “Twister“ (među ostalim, stradat će New York i Pariz). Humor je poletan, likovi su simpatični, 3D animacija oku ugodna i vedra, akcija suluda, tempo njezina nizanja vrlo žustar.

Srećom, (preko)brojne akcijske scene ne odvraćaju fokus s po(r)uka koje se nenametljivo provlače (lekcija o “zalogajima većim od stomaka“ i zdravoj prehrani, ali i ekologiji).

Djeca odgojena na vizualno živahnim animiranim blockbusterima zasigurno će namiriti apetit. “Oblačno s ćuftama“ mogao bi biti ukusan i “starcima”. Obiteljska večera je servirana.
