Dan kad je Poljud plakao za Titom... Bilo je to takvo vrijeme, 4. svibnja 1980. godine, slike i filmovi s tog povijesnog događaja, kad je umro predsjednik bivše države, a derbi u Poljudu prekinut zbog toga, obletjele su svijet. Na stadionu je bilo 50.000 duša, tada je stajanje bilo na sjeveru, nakrcalo bi se publike do mile volje, kao sardine bi se navijači stisli.

Kad se pozovemo na taj događaj, misli i filmovi neumitno stižu i u Poljud. Igrali su Hajduk i Crvena zvezda, kod stanja 1:1 Ante Skataretiko, tadašnji već predsjednik Hajduka, naslijedio je taman Tita Kirigina, a prethodno je bio kotač zamašnjak organizacije Mediteranskih igara, imao je dužnost objaviti vijest... Utakmica je bila prekinuta. Nova je odigrana tek naknadno, iznova, sredinom svibnja.

Tito je umro u 15.05 sati te nedjelje, ali dok je vijest stigla, dok se smjela objaviti, dogodilo se to taman u 42. minuti večernjeg termina derbija.

Istini za volju, još su se neke utakmice igrale u isto vrijeme, u Maksimiru Dinamo - Željezničar, na Koševu Sarajevo - Osijek, ako nas pamćenje dobro služi. No, tv-kamere su bile uključene u derbi, u Poljudu, u ona doba od derbija uvijek bi se pravila posebna reportaža. Nije bilo kao danas da je svaka utakmica u svome terminu i u izravnom tv-prijenosu.

Danas, sa silnim otklonom vremena i događanja u međuvremenu, možemo mislit što god hoćemo, no tada je bilo tako. Na današnji dan, prije 43 godine.

Dan kad je Poljud plakao za Titom... Bilo je to takvo vrijeme, 4. svibnja 1980. godine, slike i filmovi s tog povijesnog događaja, kad je umro predsjednik bivše države, a derbi u Poljudu prekinut zbog toga, obletjele su svijet. Na stadionu je bilo 50.000 duša, tada je stajanje bilo na sjeveru, nakrcalo bi se publike do mile volje, kao sardine bi se navijači stisli.

Kad se pozovemo na taj događaj, misli i filmovi neumitno stižu i u Poljud. Igrali su Hajduk i Crvena zvezda, kod stanja 1:1 Ante Skataretiko, tadašnji već predsjednik Hajduka, naslijedio je taman Tita Kirigina, a prethodno je bio kotač zamašnjak organizacije Mediteranskih igara, imao je dužnost objaviti vijest... Utakmica je bila prekinuta. Nova je odigrana tek naknadno, iznova, sredinom svibnja.

Tito je umro u 15.05 sati te nedjelje, ali dok je vijest stigla, dok se smjela objaviti, dogodilo se to taman u 42. minuti večernjeg termina derbija.

Istini za volju, još su se neke utakmice igrale u isto vrijeme, u Maksimiru Dinamo - Željezničar, na Koševu Sarajevo - Osijek, ako nas pamćenje dobro služi. No, tv-kamere su bile uključene u derbi, u Poljudu, u ona doba od derbija uvijek bi se pravila posebna reportaža. Nije bilo kao danas da je svaka utakmica u svome terminu i u izravnom tv-prijenosu.

Danas, sa silnim otklonom vremena i događanja u međuvremenu, možemo mislit što god hoćemo, no tada je bilo tako. Na današnji dan, prije 43 godine.

Nikad Poljud nije plakao kao tog dana, zagrljeni igrači Hajduka i Zvezde, ‘pedeset tisuća jecaja‘, otišao je Tito...

Dan kad je Poljud plakao za Titom... Bilo je to takvo vrijeme, 4. svibnja 1980. godine, slike i filmovi s tog povijesnog događaja, kad je umro predsjednik bivše države, a derbi u Poljudu prekinut zbog toga, obletjele su svijet. Na stadionu je bilo 50.000 duša, tada je stajanje bilo na sjeveru, nakrcalo bi se publike do mile volje, kao sardine bi se navijači stisli.

Kad se pozovemo na taj događaj, misli i filmovi neumitno stižu i u Poljud. Igrali su Hajduk i Crvena zvezda, kod stanja 1:1 Ante Skataretiko, tadašnji već predsjednik Hajduka, naslijedio je taman Tita Kirigina, a prethodno je bio kotač zamašnjak organizacije Mediteranskih igara, imao je dužnost objaviti vijest... Utakmica je bila prekinuta. Nova je odigrana tek naknadno, iznova, sredinom svibnja.

Tito je umro u 15.05 sati te nedjelje, ali dok je vijest stigla, dok se smjela objaviti, dogodilo se to taman u 42. minuti večernjeg termina derbija.

Istini za volju, još su se neke utakmice igrale u isto vrijeme, u Maksimiru Dinamo - Željezničar, na Koševu Sarajevo - Osijek, ako nas pamćenje dobro služi. No, tv-kamere su bile uključene u derbi, u Poljudu, u ona doba od derbija uvijek bi se pravila posebna reportaža. Nije bilo kao danas da je svaka utakmica u svome terminu i u izravnom tv-prijenosu.

Danas, sa silnim otklonom vremena i događanja u međuvremenu, možemo mislit što god hoćemo, no tada je bilo tako. Na današnji dan, prije 43 godine.
