Ruski general Sergej Surovikin, zvan Armagedon, pojavio se u javnosti ovog tjedna prvi put nakon propale pobune ruske plaćeničke skupine Wagner. No, još uvijek se šire brojne kontroverze oko ovog ruskog generala.

Naime, ruski izvori i dalje spekuliraju o njegovoj trenutnoj ulozi i budućnosti, osobito zbog njegove veze s Wagnerom.

Nekoliko ruskih insajderskih izvora i ratnih blogera primijetilo je da je rusko Ministarstvo obrane uklonilo Surovikinov profil sa službene web stranice Ministarstva obrane. Na stranici je ostao samo njegov video apel koji je objavljen tijekom pobune kada je tražio od plaćenika da odstupe, piše N1.

Kako piše Institut za proučavanje rata (ISW), uklanjanje Surovikinovog profila nije posebno samo po sebi jer ga je rusko vojno vodstvo smijenilo s mjesta zapovjednika Zračno-svemirskih snaga (VKS) u kolovozu, a uklanjanje njegova profila sa stranice ministarstva moglo bi biti samo posljedica te smjene.

Neki ruski insajderski izvori dodatno su tvrdili da je zamjenik Državne dume i umirovljeni general-pukovnik Viktor Zavarzin izjavio da je Surovikin preuzeo novu dužnost u Zajednici Neovisnih Država.

ISW je ranije uočio obrazac po kojem ruski generali koji se loše snađu u zapovjednim ulogama u Ukrajini budu preraspoređeni na druga mjesta i lokacije poput primjerice Sirije. To je određeni oblik kazne, sve dok se osoba u potpunosti ne ukloni iz ruske vojske.

Imenovanje Surovikina na novu poziciju koja se ne čini kao vojna ili zapovjedna uloga, sugerira da rusko vojno vodstvo vjerojatno nastavlja s praksom premještanja osramoćenih ili neučinkovitih zapovjednika na položaje koji nisu uključeni u rat u Ukrajini.

Ruski general Sergej Surovikin, zvan Armagedon, pojavio se u javnosti ovog tjedna prvi put nakon propale pobune ruske plaćeničke skupine Wagner. No, još uvijek se šire brojne kontroverze oko ovog ruskog generala.

Naime, ruski izvori i dalje spekuliraju o njegovoj trenutnoj ulozi i budućnosti, osobito zbog njegove veze s Wagnerom.

Nekoliko ruskih insajderskih izvora i ratnih blogera primijetilo je da je rusko Ministarstvo obrane uklonilo Surovikinov profil sa službene web stranice Ministarstva obrane. Na stranici je ostao samo njegov video apel koji je objavljen tijekom pobune kada je tražio od plaćenika da odstupe, piše N1.

Kako piše Institut za proučavanje rata (ISW), uklanjanje Surovikinovog profila nije posebno samo po sebi jer ga je rusko vojno vodstvo smijenilo s mjesta zapovjednika Zračno-svemirskih snaga (VKS) u kolovozu, a uklanjanje njegova profila sa stranice ministarstva moglo bi biti samo posljedica te smjene.

Neki ruski insajderski izvori dodatno su tvrdili da je zamjenik Državne dume i umirovljeni general-pukovnik Viktor Zavarzin izjavio da je Surovikin preuzeo novu dužnost u Zajednici Neovisnih Država.

ISW je ranije uočio obrazac po kojem ruski generali koji se loše snađu u zapovjednim ulogama u Ukrajini budu preraspoređeni na druga mjesta i lokacije poput primjerice Sirije. To je određeni oblik kazne, sve dok se osoba u potpunosti ne ukloni iz ruske vojske.

Imenovanje Surovikina na novu poziciju koja se ne čini kao vojna ili zapovjedna uloga, sugerira da rusko vojno vodstvo vjerojatno nastavlja s praksom premještanja osramoćenih ili neučinkovitih zapovjednika na položaje koji nisu uključeni u rat u Ukrajini.
