Predsjednik Zoran Milanović izazvao je nemalu pomutnju otkazivanjem puta u BiH na obilježavanje godišnjice svojedobnog „Bijelog puta za Novu Bilu i Bosnu Srebrnu“.

Dok sarajevski mediji i političari uporno negiraju ikakvu ugrozu po njegovu sigurnost koja mu je u susjednoj zemlji navodno prijetila, neki od sudionika svojedobne humanitarne akcije tvrde da mu do obilježavanja tog događaja nije bilo niti stalo, jer dulje od tjedan dana na Pantovčaku odbija primiti ljude koji su Konvoj za Novu Bilu svojedobno organizirali.

Tu je tvrdnju na svom Facebook profilu objavio psihijatar dr. Herman Vukušić, sin Hermana Vukušića Starijega koji je, uz pokojnoga dr. Slobodana Langa, bio glavni spiritus movens „Bijeloga puta“ potkraj 1993. godine. Hermana Vukušića pamti se, inače, i kao svojedobnog trenera slavnih stolnotenisača Dragutina Šurbeka i Antuna Stipančića.

„Bijeli Put za Novu Bilu i Bosnu Srebrenu“ je bio jedan od najvećih humanitarnih poduhvata tijekom ratova devedesetih, uz bok nešto ranijemu pomorskom konvoju „Libertas“ kojim je razbijena blokada Dubrovnika. „Bijelim putom“ je prekinuta višemjesečna iscrpljujuća opsada hrvatske enklave u Lašvanskoj dolini u hrvatsko-bošnjačkom ratu i dostavljena pomoć u hrani i lijekovima za oko 70 tisuća tamo opkoljenih ljudi. Humanitarni konvoj činilo je čak 99 šlepera i oko 180 pratitelja – svećenika, franjevaca, medicinskog osoblja, novinara. Rizik poduhvata bio je veliki, jer su u to vrijeme između Armije BiH i HVO-a posvuda vođeni najžešći sukobi. Operacija probijanja kolone do opkoljene Lašvanske doline i natrag trajala je dva tjedna: od 10. do 24. prosinca 1993. godine.

Na prostoru dugačkom oko 30 i širokom samo dva kilometra od lipnja 1993. počinju se koncentrirati Hrvati Srednje Bosne izbjegli iz ratom zahvaćenih okolnih općina. Ratna bolnica u Crkvi u Novoj Biloj u kojoj su zajedno djelovali liječnici i franjevci zbrinjavala je na tisuće pacijenata. Ležali su na posvuda, po podu i na škabelima, a medicinarima je kronično nedostajalo lijekova, kirurškog pribora, krvi, osoblja... Dostava hrane i medicinske opreme do bolnice bio je glavni cilj opsežne operacije: koloni iz Zagreba priključila su se vozila iz Rijeke i Splita pa su preko Tomislavgrada i Prozora-Rame uz pratnju HVO-a došli do Uskoplja gdje ih je preuzeo pratiti UNPROFOR. Usprkos zaštiti UN-a i odobrenju za prolazak službenoga Srajeva, više su dana od Armije BiH zadržavani na tom putu. Nakon što su teret naposljetku ostavili napaćenim ljudima u Novoj Bili, konvoj je na povratku doživio napad Armije BiH u Uskoplju: ubijen je vozač Ante Vlajić iz Splita, a tri sudionika operacije su bila ranjena.

Uspjehu konvoja je, uz dr. Slobodana Langa, Hermana Vukušića Starijeg, prof.dr. Mira Jakovljevića, prof.dr. Filipa Čula i Juraja Bokunića, svojom predanošću najviše pridonijela i humanitarno-karitativna organizacija bosanskih franjevaca ''Kruh sv. Ante'' iz Zagreba i Splita, na čelu s fra Stipom Karajicom. U ovom pothvatu sudjelovale su i mnoge druge javne osobe, od tadašnje novinarke a kasnije premijerke Jadranke Kosor pa do bivšeg ministra zdravstva u Račanovoj vladi i dubrovačkog gradonačelnika Andra Vlahušića. Fotografije fotoreportera Slobodne Dalmacije Željka Maganjića, koji je par godina nakon Konvoja poginuo u prometnoj nesreći, do danas svjedoče povijest toga humanitarnog događaja. 

Nedaleko od nekadašnje Ratne bolnice-crkve, danas u Novoj Bili djeluje nova bolnica, sagrađena uz pomoć Zagreba par godina poslije rata. Ime je, kao i ona ratna, dobila po fra Mati Nikoliću, prvom diplomiranom liječniku-franjevcu u Bosni.

Predsjednik Zoran Milanović izazvao je nemalu pomutnju otkazivanjem puta u BiH na obilježavanje godišnjice svojedobnog „Bijelog puta za Novu Bilu i Bosnu Srebrnu“.

Dok sarajevski mediji i političari uporno negiraju ikakvu ugrozu po njegovu sigurnost koja mu je u susjednoj zemlji navodno prijetila, neki od sudionika svojedobne humanitarne akcije tvrde da mu do obilježavanja tog događaja nije bilo niti stalo, jer dulje od tjedan dana na Pantovčaku odbija primiti ljude koji su Konvoj za Novu Bilu svojedobno organizirali.

Tu je tvrdnju na svom Facebook profilu objavio psihijatar dr. Herman Vukušić, sin Hermana Vukušića Starijega koji je, uz pokojnoga dr. Slobodana Langa, bio glavni spiritus movens „Bijeloga puta“ potkraj 1993. godine. Hermana Vukušića pamti se, inače, i kao svojedobnog trenera slavnih stolnotenisača Dragutina Šurbeka i Antuna Stipančića.

„Bijeli Put za Novu Bilu i Bosnu Srebrenu“ je bio jedan od najvećih humanitarnih poduhvata tijekom ratova devedesetih, uz bok nešto ranijemu pomorskom konvoju „Libertas“ kojim je razbijena blokada Dubrovnika. „Bijelim putom“ je prekinuta višemjesečna iscrpljujuća opsada hrvatske enklave u Lašvanskoj dolini u hrvatsko-bošnjačkom ratu i dostavljena pomoć u hrani i lijekovima za oko 70 tisuća tamo opkoljenih ljudi. Humanitarni konvoj činilo je čak 99 šlepera i oko 180 pratitelja – svećenika, franjevaca, medicinskog osoblja, novinara. Rizik poduhvata bio je veliki, jer su u to vrijeme između Armije BiH i HVO-a posvuda vođeni najžešći sukobi. Operacija probijanja kolone do opkoljene Lašvanske doline i natrag trajala je dva tjedna: od 10. do 24. prosinca 1993. godine.

Na prostoru dugačkom oko 30 i širokom samo dva kilometra od lipnja 1993. počinju se koncentrirati Hrvati Srednje Bosne izbjegli iz ratom zahvaćenih okolnih općina. Ratna bolnica u Crkvi u Novoj Biloj u kojoj su zajedno djelovali liječnici i franjevci zbrinjavala je na tisuće pacijenata. Ležali su na posvuda, po podu i na škabelima, a medicinarima je kronično nedostajalo lijekova, kirurškog pribora, krvi, osoblja... Dostava hrane i medicinske opreme do bolnice bio je glavni cilj opsežne operacije: koloni iz Zagreba priključila su se vozila iz Rijeke i Splita pa su preko Tomislavgrada i Prozora-Rame uz pratnju HVO-a došli do Uskoplja gdje ih je preuzeo pratiti UNPROFOR. Usprkos zaštiti UN-a i odobrenju za prolazak službenoga Srajeva, više su dana od Armije BiH zadržavani na tom putu. Nakon što su teret naposljetku ostavili napaćenim ljudima u Novoj Bili, konvoj je na povratku doživio napad Armije BiH u Uskoplju: ubijen je vozač Ante Vlajić iz Splita, a tri sudionika operacije su bila ranjena.

Uspjehu konvoja je, uz dr. Slobodana Langa, Hermana Vukušića Starijeg, prof.dr. Mira Jakovljevića, prof.dr. Filipa Čula i Juraja Bokunića, svojom predanošću najviše pridonijela i humanitarno-karitativna organizacija bosanskih franjevaca ''Kruh sv. Ante'' iz Zagreba i Splita, na čelu s fra Stipom Karajicom. U ovom pothvatu sudjelovale su i mnoge druge javne osobe, od tadašnje novinarke a kasnije premijerke Jadranke Kosor pa do bivšeg ministra zdravstva u Račanovoj vladi i dubrovačkog gradonačelnika Andra Vlahušića. Fotografije fotoreportera Slobodne Dalmacije Željka Maganjića, koji je par godina nakon Konvoja poginuo u prometnoj nesreći, do danas svjedoče povijest toga humanitarnog događaja. 

Nedaleko od nekadašnje Ratne bolnice-crkve, danas u Novoj Bili djeluje nova bolnica, sagrađena uz pomoć Zagreba par godina poslije rata. Ime je, kao i ona ratna, dobila po fra Mati Nikoliću, prvom diplomiranom liječniku-franjevcu u Bosni.
