Pet godina nakon dijagnoze, s 24 godine, Victoria je podvrgnuta hitnoj operaciji kako bi joj spasili život, piše Jutarnji list.

Victoria Danson iz engleskog Chorleyja radila je 60 sati tjedno i to dva posla kada je primljena u bolnicu s jakim bolovima u trbuhu. Posjetila je liječnika opće prakse koji joj je rekao da ima sindrom iritabilnog crijeva, ali Victoria je mislila da je nešto gore.

Nakon napornih 12 mjeseci uz bezbrojne posjete liječnicima, majci jednog djeteta je obavljena kolonoskopija koja je pokazala da ima Crohnovu bolest.

- S obzirom na to da se radilo o crijevima i kakici, to nije nešto o čemu se razgovara s ljudima, pa sam se osjećala kao da sam sama s tim, rekla je.

- Pila sam mnogo različitih lijekova i s tim su dolazile neželjene nuspojave pa sam samo pokušala živjeti svoj život s tim, a pritom i nisam poznavala nikoga drugog tko s tim živi.

Pet godina nakon dijagnoze, s 24 godine, Victoria je podvrgnuta hitnoj operaciji spašavanja života u bolnici Royal Preston.

Prije operacije sumnjala je da su bolovi koje osjeća nešto drugo, a pokazalo se da je to mali apsces na crijevu.

To je značilo da je Victoriji trebalo ukloniti 45 centimetara tankog crijeva.

- Kirurg je došao, uzeo me za ruku i rekao: ‘Ne znam kako si uspijevala živjeti s ovim. Tamo je apsolutni nered‘, objasnila je Victoria.

- Rekao je da imam apsces, ali sam imala i abdominalnu sepsu, ali to nisu znali prije nego što su me izrezali. Rekao je: - Još 24 sata i ne biste uspjeli, donijeli smo najbolju odluku.

Ne samo da je morala biti podvrgnuta ovoj operaciji, već se Victoria probudila sa stomom i vrećicom za kolostomiju.

Dodala je: - Život mi se uvelike promijenio. U početku je to više bio mentalni aspekt prihvaćanja vrećice, ali zapravo, kvaliteta života koju mi ​​je od tada pružila stvarno mi je pomogla da je prihvatim.

- Prije sam bila na WC-u 15 ili 20 puta dnevno, osjećala sam umor i tjeskobu zbog stalne potrebe za WC-om i kad sam bila na operaciji, zapravo sam razmišljala o tome koliko ljudi mora biti u mom položaju, a osjećaju da ne mogu ni s kim razgovarati o tome. To te stvarno izolira i utječe na vaše mentalno zdravlje.

Victoria je otkrila da želi osnovati grupu podrške za ljude sa sličnim problemom kao ona.

Victoria je 2017. godine započela svoje putovanje u podizanju svijesti o sindromu iritabilnog crijeva i Crohnovoj bolesti, koristeći pritom svoje slobodno vrijeme, uz friziranje i roditeljsku brigu za svog malenog sina Louisa, kako bi podržala druge koji su u sličnoj situaciji kao ona.

Ljudi posjećuju Victorijine grupne sastanke i obavještavaju je da zbog toga imaju više samopouzdanja i da sada mogu živjeti boljim životom.

Victoria je rekla: - S obzirom da je to nevidljiva bolest, ljudima je teško razumjeti kako se zbog nje osjećate iznutra.

Očito nije tako loše kao što je bilo prije, ali postoje stvari koje sam morala učiniti. Morala sam promijeniti kompletnu prehranu da bih mogla funkcionirati. Ako pojedem nešto što znam da ne bih trebala, to jednostavno nije vrijedno toga, piše Mirror, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Pet godina nakon dijagnoze, s 24 godine, Victoria je podvrgnuta hitnoj operaciji kako bi joj spasili život, piše Jutarnji list.

Victoria Danson iz engleskog Chorleyja radila je 60 sati tjedno i to dva posla kada je primljena u bolnicu s jakim bolovima u trbuhu. Posjetila je liječnika opće prakse koji joj je rekao da ima sindrom iritabilnog crijeva, ali Victoria je mislila da je nešto gore.

Nakon napornih 12 mjeseci uz bezbrojne posjete liječnicima, majci jednog djeteta je obavljena kolonoskopija koja je pokazala da ima Crohnovu bolest.

- S obzirom na to da se radilo o crijevima i kakici, to nije nešto o čemu se razgovara s ljudima, pa sam se osjećala kao da sam sama s tim, rekla je.

- Pila sam mnogo različitih lijekova i s tim su dolazile neželjene nuspojave pa sam samo pokušala živjeti svoj život s tim, a pritom i nisam poznavala nikoga drugog tko s tim živi.

Pet godina nakon dijagnoze, s 24 godine, Victoria je podvrgnuta hitnoj operaciji spašavanja života u bolnici Royal Preston.

Prije operacije sumnjala je da su bolovi koje osjeća nešto drugo, a pokazalo se da je to mali apsces na crijevu.

To je značilo da je Victoriji trebalo ukloniti 45 centimetara tankog crijeva.

- Kirurg je došao, uzeo me za ruku i rekao: ‘Ne znam kako si uspijevala živjeti s ovim. Tamo je apsolutni nered‘, objasnila je Victoria.

- Rekao je da imam apsces, ali sam imala i abdominalnu sepsu, ali to nisu znali prije nego što su me izrezali. Rekao je: - Još 24 sata i ne biste uspjeli, donijeli smo najbolju odluku.

Ne samo da je morala biti podvrgnuta ovoj operaciji, već se Victoria probudila sa stomom i vrećicom za kolostomiju.

Dodala je: - Život mi se uvelike promijenio. U početku je to više bio mentalni aspekt prihvaćanja vrećice, ali zapravo, kvaliteta života koju mi ​​je od tada pružila stvarno mi je pomogla da je prihvatim.

Victoria je 2017. godine započela svoje putovanje u podizanju svijesti o sindromu iritabilnog crijeva i Crohnovoj bolesti, koristeći pritom svoje slobodno vrijeme, uz friziranje i roditeljsku brigu za svog malenog sina Louisa, kako bi podržala druge koji su u sličnoj situaciji kao ona.

Ljudi posjećuju Victorijine grupne sastanke i obavještavaju je da zbog toga imaju više samopouzdanja i da sada mogu živjeti boljim životom.

Victoria je rekla: - S obzirom da je to nevidljiva bolest, ljudima je teško razumjeti kako se zbog nje osjećate iznutra.
