Tisuće djece veseli se zabavi u vodenim parkovima na moru, a mnogi se roditelji boje te vrste zabave za svoje mališane i zabranjuju im takvu rekreaciju jer smatraju da se mogu zaraziti "slatkim krastama" zbog loše higijene. Budući da se "slatke krastice" vrlo brzo šire, roditelji strahuju da bi im eventualna zaraza mogla pokvariti godišnji odmor.

Jesu li ovi strahovi opravdani i koja je realna opasnost da dođe do ozbiljnje zaraze otkrila nam je prof. dr. sc. Neira Puizina Ivić, dermatolognja u KBC-u Split.

- Impetigo, ili kako kolokvijalno zovu slatke ili medene kraste, je pretežno bolest djece uzrokovana stafilokokom ili streptokokom ili istovremeno s oba uzročnika. Javlja se u toplim predjelima naročito tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, jer su tada djeca kao i odrasli zbog vrućine oskudnije odjeveni.

Koža djece je tanja i nježnija pa stoga i lakše izložena oštećenjima. Pored toga, ljetne aktivnosti i igre dovode do toga da je dječja koža sklonija oštećenju i učestalijim dodirima sa podlogom na kojoj se mogu nalaziti uzročnici. Impetiga je uvijek bilo i bit će naročito tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, no očito da su društvene mreže osvijestile i dale publicitet ovoj u biti banalnoj i čestoj bolesti tijekom ljetnih mjeseci.

Za roditelje koji se još nisu susreli s ovom bolešću dobro je da nauče kako se manifestira, i da brzo reagiraju.

Dakle, bolest se očituje u obliku mjehurića ispunjenih prozirnim ili žućkasto-zelenim sadržajem (bulozni tip), a katkada samo kao krasta žućkasto-crvene boje, pa odatle naziv slatke ili medene kraste (ne-bulozni tip). Tip praćen sa mjehurima najčešće je uzrokovan zlatnim stafilokokom koji luči određene molekule koje cijepaju veze između stanica pokrovnog epitela kože. Krustozni tip bez mjehura češće uzrokuje beta hemolitički streptokok.

- Oba tipa bolesti su jako zarazna, ističe dr. Piuzina Ivić, a obično se uzročnik nalazi u nosnoj sluznici, koži pazuha ili prepona. Bolest se brzo širi unutar kolektiva kako obitelji tako vrtića ili razreda. Promjene se mogu jako proširiti na velike površine kože, no pravovremenom terapijom, jako brzo i nestaju. Naime, podučava nas dermatologinja, mjehuri imaju tanku i mlohavu opnu koja lako puca pa se sadržaj izlijeva u okolinu, na podloge kao i na posteljinu.

Promjene su najčešće na području koja su otkrivena i to na licu i udovima, a kako su praćene svrbežom, dijete ih lako raznosi po koži ostalog dijela tijela. Stoga u terapiji se mora usmjeriti na prekid lanca infekcije, mijenjati rublje, odjeću, posteljinu kao i tekstil s kojim je dijete ili zaraženi bolesnik dolazio u dodir.

U većini slučajeva s brzom i odgovarajućom terapijom "medena" priča je završena, no ostavlja li bolesti i neke posljedice, komplikacije?

- Od komplikacija valja spomenuti streptokokni glomerulonefritis koji se u praksi rjeđe viđa, ali ga valja imati na umu. U terapiji je najvažnije poboljšati higijenske mjere, dakle pranje i čišćenje svih mjesta na kojem je oboljela osoba sjedila ili ležala. Dakle, pranje i po mogućnosti iskuhavanje posteljine i rublja, redovno pranje kože s antisepticima te potom mazanje a antibiotskim kremama ili mastima koje treba prekriti gazom.

Promjene obično brzo nestaju uz ispravno provedenu terapiju (tijekom 4-5 dana). U slučaju rasprostranjenih promjena, preporuča se primjena antibiotskih preparata na usta.

Za prepoznavanje glomerulonefritisa treba kontrola urina nakon 2-3 tjedna od početka bolesti. Ne preporuča se kontakt sa drugom djecom i odlazak u vrtić tijekom liječenja iz epidemioloških razloga, kaže dermatologinja.

Tisuće djece veseli se zabavi u vodenim parkovima na moru, a mnogi se roditelji boje te vrste zabave za svoje mališane i zabranjuju im takvu rekreaciju jer smatraju da se mogu zaraziti "slatkim krastama" zbog loše higijene. Budući da se "slatke krastice" vrlo brzo šire, roditelji strahuju da bi im eventualna zaraza mogla pokvariti godišnji odmor.

Jesu li ovi strahovi opravdani i koja je realna opasnost da dođe do ozbiljnje zaraze otkrila nam je prof. dr. sc. Neira Puizina Ivić, dermatolognja u KBC-u Split.

- Impetigo, ili kako kolokvijalno zovu slatke ili medene kraste, je pretežno bolest djece uzrokovana stafilokokom ili streptokokom ili istovremeno s oba uzročnika. Javlja se u toplim predjelima naročito tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, jer su tada djeca kao i odrasli zbog vrućine oskudnije odjeveni.

Koža djece je tanja i nježnija pa stoga i lakše izložena oštećenjima. Pored toga, ljetne aktivnosti i igre dovode do toga da je dječja koža sklonija oštećenju i učestalijim dodirima sa podlogom na kojoj se mogu nalaziti uzročnici. Impetiga je uvijek bilo i bit će naročito tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, no očito da su društvene mreže osvijestile i dale publicitet ovoj u biti banalnoj i čestoj bolesti tijekom ljetnih mjeseci.

Za roditelje koji se još nisu susreli s ovom bolešću dobro je da nauče kako se manifestira, i da brzo reagiraju.

Dakle, bolest se očituje u obliku mjehurića ispunjenih prozirnim ili žućkasto-zelenim sadržajem (bulozni tip), a katkada samo kao krasta žućkasto-crvene boje, pa odatle naziv slatke ili medene kraste (ne-bulozni tip). Tip praćen sa mjehurima najčešće je uzrokovan zlatnim stafilokokom koji luči određene molekule koje cijepaju veze između stanica pokrovnog epitela kože. Krustozni tip bez mjehura češće uzrokuje beta hemolitički streptokok.

- Oba tipa bolesti su jako zarazna, ističe dr. Piuzina Ivić, a obično se uzročnik nalazi u nosnoj sluznici, koži pazuha ili prepona. Bolest se brzo širi unutar kolektiva kako obitelji tako vrtića ili razreda. Promjene se mogu jako proširiti na velike površine kože, no pravovremenom terapijom, jako brzo i nestaju. Naime, podučava nas dermatologinja, mjehuri imaju tanku i mlohavu opnu koja lako puca pa se sadržaj izlijeva u okolinu, na podloge kao i na posteljinu.

Promjene su najčešće na području koja su otkrivena i to na licu i udovima, a kako su praćene svrbežom, dijete ih lako raznosi po koži ostalog dijela tijela. Stoga u terapiji se mora usmjeriti na prekid lanca infekcije, mijenjati rublje, odjeću, posteljinu kao i tekstil s kojim je dijete ili zaraženi bolesnik dolazio u dodir.

U većini slučajeva s brzom i odgovarajućom terapijom "medena" priča je završena, no ostavlja li bolesti i neke posljedice, komplikacije?

- Od komplikacija valja spomenuti streptokokni glomerulonefritis koji se u praksi rjeđe viđa, ali ga valja imati na umu. U terapiji je najvažnije poboljšati higijenske mjere, dakle pranje i čišćenje svih mjesta na kojem je oboljela osoba sjedila ili ležala. Dakle, pranje i po mogućnosti iskuhavanje posteljine i rublja, redovno pranje kože s antisepticima te potom mazanje a antibiotskim kremama ili mastima koje treba prekriti gazom.

Promjene obično brzo nestaju uz ispravno provedenu terapiju (tijekom 4-5 dana). U slučaju rasprostranjenih promjena, preporuča se primjena antibiotskih preparata na usta.

Za prepoznavanje glomerulonefritisa treba kontrola urina nakon 2-3 tjedna od početka bolesti. Ne preporuča se kontakt sa drugom djecom i odlazak u vrtić tijekom liječenja iz epidemioloških razloga, kaže dermatologinja.
