Situated between Solin and Trogir, Kaštela are a typical town created not so long ago by merging seven settlements into one administrative unit.
Ans those settlements, or according to the Kaštela locals „villages“, that extend along the coast from east to west for 20 kilometers until Split Airport. They have a long and interesting history, and each one is recognizable by its castle around which developed the old town nucleus with intertwined alleys around the square. Riding in a carriage from Štafilić to Kambelovac is a special experience, as well as tasting homemade wine in numerous taverns. In Štafilić stands a 1500-year old olive tree which yields fruit even today.
