Izvorni naslov filma “Gola istina” je “The Ugly Truth”. Doslovan prijevod bi, dakle, trebao biti “Ružna istina”. Ipak, s obzirom da se još nije stišala jeka oko “Gole istine” Nives Celzijus, distributer nije puno dvojio koji će staviti. Koincidencije li, “Gola istina” Roberta Luketića dijelom i korespondira s bestselerom bezobrazno bujne gđe Drpić.

Naime, junak filma Mike (Gerard Butler), voditelj emisije “The Ugly Truth”, propagande mačističkih stereotipa, smatra da bi sve žene, ukoliko žele osvojiti muškarce, trebale biti kurve. A svoju producenticu, feministkinju, “chick flick” heroinu i, kao takvu, njegovu suštu suprotnost Abby (Katherine Heigl), ova će “muška svinja” naučiti kako biti “svetica” i “grešnica”, kao što se Nives u javnosti voli predstavljati.

Dogodit će se to kad ga, nesretna u ljubavi, s nizom propalih dejtova iza sebe, pita za savjet kako zavesti gospodina Savršenog iz susjedstva, inače svojevrsnog prototipa Kena za njezinu Barbiku.

Na stranu paralela s Nives, znam(o) što ste pomislili - ovo zvuči kao još jedna glupa romantična komedijica o muško-ženskim odnosima koje je razumio valjda samo Mel Gibson u “What Women Want”.

Istina, “Gola istina” jest žanrovski predvidljiv film i Luketić ovdje nije okrenuo naopako određene konvencije kao što je to napravio s “Legally Blonde” u smislu stereotipa o glupoj plavuši.

Po starom Čehovljevu principu jasno je da će iskra koja je među akterima frcnula na početku zapaliti plamen ljubavi do odjavne špice, premda za Mikea ona, ljubav, ne postoji (jasno, ne odmaže ni to što će Abby na njemu pokušati primijeniti pokoju zavodničku foru).

Ali, proces “paljenja” Luketić je prikazao na iznimno pametan i zabavan način pa se u film lako zaljubiti, bez da, poput Butlera, morate precizirati zašto ga volite. Scene?

Svakako vrijedi izdvojiti Abbyno javno poniženje kad je vibrirajuće gaćice, kojima daljinskim upravlja 10-godišnji klinac, dovedu do orgazma pred nadređenima u restoranu. Ta scena otkriva jed(i)nu “golu istinu”: Katherine Heigl je nova Meg Ryan (“Kad je Harry sreo Sally”). Buduće rom-com heroine mogle bi u restoranu “naručiti isto što i ona”.

Izvorni naslov filma “Gola istina” je “The Ugly Truth”. Doslovan prijevod bi, dakle, trebao biti “Ružna istina”. Ipak, s obzirom da se još nije stišala jeka oko “Gole istine” Nives Celzijus, distributer nije puno dvojio koji će staviti. Koincidencije li, “Gola istina” Roberta Luketića dijelom i korespondira s bestselerom bezobrazno bujne gđe Drpić.

Naime, junak filma Mike (Gerard Butler), voditelj emisije “The Ugly Truth”, propagande mačističkih stereotipa, smatra da bi sve žene, ukoliko žele osvojiti muškarce, trebale biti kurve. A svoju producenticu, feministkinju, “chick flick” heroinu i, kao takvu, njegovu suštu suprotnost Abby (Katherine Heigl), ova će “muška svinja” naučiti kako biti “svetica” i “grešnica”, kao što se Nives u javnosti voli predstavljati.

Dogodit će se to kad ga, nesretna u ljubavi, s nizom propalih dejtova iza sebe, pita za savjet kako zavesti gospodina Savršenog iz susjedstva, inače svojevrsnog prototipa Kena za njezinu Barbiku.

Na stranu paralela s Nives, znam(o) što ste pomislili - ovo zvuči kao još jedna glupa romantična komedijica o muško-ženskim odnosima koje je razumio valjda samo Mel Gibson u “What Women Want”.

Istina, “Gola istina” jest žanrovski predvidljiv film i Luketić ovdje nije okrenuo naopako određene konvencije kao što je to napravio s “Legally Blonde” u smislu stereotipa o glupoj plavuši.

Po starom Čehovljevu principu jasno je da će iskra koja je među akterima frcnula na početku zapaliti plamen ljubavi do odjavne špice, premda za Mikea ona, ljubav, ne postoji (jasno, ne odmaže ni to što će Abby na njemu pokušati primijeniti pokoju zavodničku foru).

Ali, proces “paljenja” Luketić je prikazao na iznimno pametan i zabavan način pa se u film lako zaljubiti, bez da, poput Butlera, morate precizirati zašto ga volite. Scene?

Svakako vrijedi izdvojiti Abbyno javno poniženje kad je vibrirajuće gaćice, kojima daljinskim upravlja 10-godišnji klinac, dovedu do orgazma pred nadređenima u restoranu. Ta scena otkriva jed(i)nu “golu istinu”: Katherine Heigl je nova Meg Ryan (“Kad je Harry sreo Sally”). Buduće rom-com heroine mogle bi u restoranu “naručiti isto što i ona”.
