Ljudima u kineskoj prijestolnici Pekingu u utorak je dopušten ulazak u parkove, supermarkete, urede i zračne luke bez pokazivanja dokaza o negativnom testu na koronavirus, što je zadnje u nizu ublažavanja mjera u cijeloj zemlji nakon prošlomjesečnih žestokih prosvjeda.
"Peking se ponovno priprema za život", glasio je naslov u vladinim novinama China Daily, dodajući da ljudi "postupno prihvaćaju" svoje novostečene slobode.
Vlasti su u različitim stupnjevima ublažile neke od najstrožih mjera ograničenja uvedene u borbi protiv koronavirusa na svijetu i ublažile procjene prijetnje od virusa, za što se mnogi nadaju da bi moglo navijestiti izraženiji pomak prema normali tri godine nakon početka pandemije.

Tong Zhaohui, ravnatelj Pekinškog instituta za respiratorne bolesti, rekao je u ponedjeljak da je najnovija varijanta bolesti omikron uzrokovala manje slučajeva teških bolesti od globalne epidemije gripe 2009., prema kineskoj državnoj televiziji.
Kinesko upravljanje bolešću moglo bi biti ublaženo već u siječnju, na manje strogu kategoriju B sa trenutne najviše kategorije zarazne bolesti A, izvijestio je Reuters u ponedjeljak.
"Najteže razdoblje je prošlo", rekla je službena novinska agencija Xinhua u komentaru objavljenom kasno u ponedjeljak, navodeći slabljenje patogenosti virusa i napore da se cijepi 90 posto stanovništva.
Hu Xijin, istaknuti komentator i bivši glavni urednik državnog lista Global Times, pozvao je na dodatne mjere kako bi se ljudima omogućilo slobodno putovanje zemljom.
"Opći smjer za povratak normalnom životu već je vrlo jasan i ključno je obnoviti slobodno kretanje ljudi kroz pokrajine kako bi se obnovilo gospodarstvo", napisao je u ponedjeljak na blogu.
Analitičari sada predviđaju da bi Kina mogla ponovno otvoriti gospodarstvo i ukinuti granične kontrole prije nego što se očekivalo, a neki vide ukidanje tih kontrola u potpunosti u proljeće.
No, više od polovice Kineza kaže da će odgoditi putovanje u inozemstvo čak i ako se granice sutra ponovno otvore, pokazalo je istraživanje konzultantske tvrtke Oliver Wyman na 4000 potrošača u Kini.

Ljudima u kineskoj prijestolnici Pekingu u utorak je dopušten ulazak u parkove, supermarkete, urede i zračne luke bez pokazivanja dokaza o negativnom testu na koronavirus, što je zadnje u nizu ublažavanja mjera u cijeloj zemlji nakon prošlomjesečnih žestokih prosvjeda.
"Peking se ponovno priprema za život", glasio je naslov u vladinim novinama China Daily, dodajući da ljudi "postupno prihvaćaju" svoje novostečene slobode.
Vlasti su u različitim stupnjevima ublažile neke od najstrožih mjera ograničenja uvedene u borbi protiv koronavirusa na svijetu i ublažile procjene prijetnje od virusa, za što se mnogi nadaju da bi moglo navijestiti izraženiji pomak prema normali tri godine nakon početka pandemije.
"Ovo bi mogao biti prvi korak prema ponovnom otvaranju nakon ove pandemije", rekao je Hu Dongxu (27) za Reuters dok je uzimao svoju putnu kartu kako bi ušao na željezničku stanicu u Pekingu, gdje također više nisu potrebni negativni testovi za ulazak u metro.
Obje gradske zračne luke također više ne zahtijevaju da se ljudi testiraju da bi ušli na terminal, izvijestili su u utorak državni mediji, iako nije bilo naznaka promjena pravila prema kojima se od putnika zahtijeva da pokažu negativne testove prije ukrcaja.
Daljnje popuštanje mjera uslijedilo je nakon niza prosvjeda prošlog mjeseca koji su označili najveću manifestaciju javnog nezadovoljstva u kontinentalnoj Kini otkako je predsjednik Xi Jinping preuzeo vlast 2012.
Kina bi mogla najaviti 10 novih nacionalnih mjera popuštanja već u srijedu, rekla su Reutersu dva izvora upoznata s tim pitanjem.
Izgledi daljnjeg ublažavanja pravila potaknuli su optimizam među ulagačima da će drugo najveće svjetsko gospodarstvo povratiti snagu i pomoći u jačanju globalnog rasta.
Kineski juan porastao je oko 5 posto u odnosu na dolar od početka studenog zbog očekivanja konačnog ponovnog otvaranja kineskog gospodarstva.
Dužnosnici nastavljaju umanjivati opasnosti koje nosi virus, približavajući Kinu onome što su druge zemlje počele govoriti prije više od godinu dana dok su istodobno ukidale ograničenja i odlučile živjeti s virusom.
Tong Zhaohui, ravnatelj Pekinškog instituta za respiratorne bolesti, rekao je u ponedjeljak da je najnovija varijanta bolesti omikron uzrokovala manje slučajeva teških bolesti od globalne epidemije gripe 2009., prema kineskoj državnoj televiziji.
Kinesko upravljanje bolešću moglo bi biti ublaženo već u siječnju, na manje strogu kategoriju B sa trenutne najviše kategorije zarazne bolesti A, izvijestio je Reuters u ponedjeljak.
"Najteže razdoblje je prošlo", rekla je službena novinska agencija Xinhua u komentaru objavljenom kasno u ponedjeljak, navodeći slabljenje patogenosti virusa i napore da se cijepi 90 posto stanovništva.
Hu Xijin, istaknuti komentator i bivši glavni urednik državnog lista Global Times, pozvao je na dodatne mjere kako bi se ljudima omogućilo slobodno putovanje zemljom.
"Opći smjer za povratak normalnom životu već je vrlo jasan i ključno je obnoviti slobodno kretanje ljudi kroz pokrajine kako bi se obnovilo gospodarstvo", napisao je u ponedjeljak na blogu.
Analitičari sada predviđaju da bi Kina mogla ponovno otvoriti gospodarstvo i ukinuti granične kontrole prije nego što se očekivalo, a neki vide ukidanje tih kontrola u potpunosti u proljeće.
No, više od polovice Kineza kaže da će odgoditi putovanje u inozemstvo čak i ako se granice sutra ponovno otvore, pokazalo je istraživanje konzultantske tvrtke Oliver Wyman na 4000 potrošača u Kini.
