Baš kao što naša koža treba hidrataciju u hladnim zimskim vremenima, tako je i biljkama potrebna vlaga. Grijanje koje isušuje zrak, smanjena količina svjetla, promjenjive temperature, samo su neki od izazova s kojima se vaše biljke susreću kako bi preživjele zimu. Sobne biljke najbolje je tijekom svih godišnjih doba, posebice zimi, držati na temperaturi između 15 i 20 stupnjeva.
Nekim biljkama, primjerice krizantemi i limunu, odgovaraju i niže temperature pa ih treba smjestiti u hladnije prostorije. Evo nekoliko savjeta koji će osigurati da vaše biljke dočekaju ljeto.
1. Umjereno s vodom
Najveća pogreška je pretjerano zalijevanje biljaka. Ako nastavite s istom količinom vode koju ste koristili tijekom ljeta ili proljeća – gotovo pa ćete ih sigurno poplaviti.
2. Voda sobne temperature
Bitno je da se cvijeće zalijeva odstajalom vodom i da je temperatura vode barem približna temperaturi prostorije u kojoj se biljka nalazi. Zalijevanje hladnom vodom može naštetiti biljkama i zimi i ljeti.
3. Pripazite na vlažnost zraka
Zimi vlažnost zraka u grijanim prostorima može pasti na 10-20 posto dok je biljkama potrebna razina od 50 posto. Tom problemu možete doskočiti kupnjom ovlaživača zraka koji ćete smjestiti u blizini biljki. Također, bilo bi dobro da vaše biljke borave u kuhinji ili kupaonici jer su to mjesta koja imaju najviše vlage u zraku. Plus, ako možete, robu sušite u blizini biljki!
4. Vlažite listove!
Svako malo listove prebrišite vlažnom spužvom ili krpom, a možete i dodatno navlažiti listove koristeći bočice s raspršivačem – koristite destiliranu vodu.
5. Propuh ubija
Iako bi uvijek trebali biti u blizini izvora prirodne svjetlosti, nikako ih ne smijete stavljati u blizinu izvora topline ili hladnih propuha. Biljke koje su preblizu otvorima za grijanje ili grijačima prostora imat će puno sušnije tlo zbog strujanja vrućeg zraka oko sebe.
6. Nabavite šljunak
Obično ne želite da korijenje biljke bude u vodi, kako biste to spriječili dodajte čiste kamenčiće u plitku posudu napunjenu vodom. Stavite biljku na vrh pladnja. Voda će postupno isparavati oko biljke, povećavajući vlažnost.

Baš kao što naša koža treba hidrataciju u hladnim zimskim vremenima, tako je i biljkama potrebna vlaga. Grijanje koje isušuje zrak, smanjena količina svjetla, promjenjive temperature, samo su neki od izazova s kojima se vaše biljke susreću kako bi preživjele zimu. Sobne biljke najbolje je tijekom svih godišnjih doba, posebice zimi, držati na temperaturi između 15 i 20 stupnjeva.
Nekim biljkama, primjerice krizantemi i limunu, odgovaraju i niže temperature pa ih treba smjestiti u hladnije prostorije. Evo nekoliko savjeta koji će osigurati da vaše biljke dočekaju ljeto.
1. Umjereno s vodom
Najveća pogreška je pretjerano zalijevanje biljaka. Ako nastavite s istom količinom vode koju ste koristili tijekom ljeta ili proljeća – gotovo pa ćete ih sigurno poplaviti.
2. Voda sobne temperature
Bitno je da se cvijeće zalijeva odstajalom vodom i da je temperatura vode barem približna temperaturi prostorije u kojoj se biljka nalazi. Zalijevanje hladnom vodom može naštetiti biljkama i zimi i ljeti.
3. Pripazite na vlažnost zraka
Zimi vlažnost zraka u grijanim prostorima može pasti na 10-20 posto dok je biljkama potrebna razina od 50 posto. Tom problemu možete doskočiti kupnjom ovlaživača zraka koji ćete smjestiti u blizini biljki. Također, bilo bi dobro da vaše biljke borave u kuhinji ili kupaonici jer su to mjesta koja imaju najviše vlage u zraku. Plus, ako možete, robu sušite u blizini biljki!
4. Vlažite listove!
Svako malo listove prebrišite vlažnom spužvom ili krpom, a možete i dodatno navlažiti listove koristeći bočice s raspršivačem – koristite destiliranu vodu.
5. Propuh ubija
Iako bi uvijek trebali biti u blizini izvora prirodne svjetlosti, nikako ih ne smijete stavljati u blizinu izvora topline ili hladnih propuha. Biljke koje su preblizu otvorima za grijanje ili grijačima prostora imat će puno sušnije tlo zbog strujanja vrućeg zraka oko sebe.
6. Nabavite šljunak
Obično ne želite da korijenje biljke bude u vodi, kako biste to spriječili dodajte čiste kamenčiće u plitku posudu napunjenu vodom. Stavite biljku na vrh pladnja. Voda će postupno isparavati oko biljke, povećavajući vlažnost.
