Na današnji dan 10. siječnja 2016. svijet je ostao u šoku: umro je David Bowie.  

‘Bio je pop-genij. Ovo je golemi gubitak’; ‘Otišao muzičar koji je obilježio epohu’; ‘Odlazak legende’… bili su naslovi koji su ispunili internet.

“David Bowie mirno je preminuo danas okružen svojom obitelji nakon hrabre 18-mjesečne bitke s rakom. Dok mnogi od vas dijele ovaj gubitak, tražimo od vas da poštujete privatnost njegove obitelji tijekom njihove žalosti”, objavila je obitelj na njegovom službenom Facebook profilu.

Samo dva dana ranije Bowie je proslavio svoj 69. rođendan. Istog dana objavio je 25. studijski album ”Blackstar”. Koproducent albuma Tony Visconti opisao je djelo kao svojevrsni labuđi pjev i umjetnikov oproštaj s publikom prije smrti.

Album je kasnije dobio pet nagrada Grammy, Brit Award za britanski album godine te je od strane muzičkih publicista ocijenjen kao ‘izdanje godine’.

Bowie je bio jedan od najutjecajnij glazbenika 20. stoljeća, a zajedno s glazbom, mijenjajo je pjesaž suvremene kulture s nesagledivim utjecajima do današnjih dana.

Na današnji dan 10. siječnja 2016. svijet je ostao u šoku: umro je David Bowie.  

‘Bio je pop-genij. Ovo je golemi gubitak’; ‘Otišao muzičar koji je obilježio epohu’; ‘Odlazak legende’… bili su naslovi koji su ispunili internet.

“David Bowie mirno je preminuo danas okružen svojom obitelji nakon hrabre 18-mjesečne bitke s rakom. Dok mnogi od vas dijele ovaj gubitak, tražimo od vas da poštujete privatnost njegove obitelji tijekom njihove žalosti”, objavila je obitelj na njegovom službenom Facebook profilu.

Samo dva dana ranije Bowie je proslavio svoj 69. rođendan. Istog dana objavio je 25. studijski album ”Blackstar”. Koproducent albuma Tony Visconti opisao je djelo kao svojevrsni labuđi pjev i umjetnikov oproštaj s publikom prije smrti.

Album je kasnije dobio pet nagrada Grammy, Brit Award za britanski album godine te je od strane muzičkih publicista ocijenjen kao ‘izdanje godine’.

Bowie je bio jedan od najutjecajnij glazbenika 20. stoljeća, a zajedno s glazbom, mijenjajo je pjesaž suvremene kulture s nesagledivim utjecajima do današnjih dana.

Na današnji dan 10. siječnja 2016. svijet je ostao u šoku: umro je David Bowie.  

‘Bio je pop-genij. Ovo je golemi gubitak’; ‘Otišao muzičar koji je obilježio epohu’; ‘Odlazak legende’… bili su naslovi koji su ispunili internet.

“David Bowie mirno je preminuo danas okružen svojom obitelji nakon hrabre 18-mjesečne bitke s rakom. Dok mnogi od vas dijele ovaj gubitak, tražimo od vas da poštujete privatnost njegove obitelji tijekom njihove žalosti”, objavila je obitelj na njegovom službenom Facebook profilu.

Samo dva dana ranije Bowie je proslavio svoj 69. rođendan. Istog dana objavio je 25. studijski album ”Blackstar”. Koproducent albuma Tony Visconti opisao je djelo kao svojevrsni labuđi pjev i umjetnikov oproštaj s publikom prije smrti. 

Album je kasnije dobio pet nagrada Grammy, Brit Award za britanski album godine te je od strane muzičkih publicista ocijenjen kao ‘izdanje godine’.

Bowie je bio jedan od najutjecajnij glazbenika 20. stoljeća, a zajedno s glazbom, mijenjajo je pjesaž suvremene kulture s nesagledivim utjecajima do današnjih dana.
