Sa dragom kod Četiri kantuna
kroz tihu Varoš proći bi zna
na rivu ili uz Donat stari
dok tiho, tiho sniva Zadar grad...
Pjevao je tako 1981. najpoznatiji zadarski kantautor Tomislav Ivčić u svojoj antologijskoj "Kalelargi", no Grad se od tada da danas podosta izmijenio, pa tako i legendarna Četiri kantuna prije četrdeset i kusur godina nisu izgledala kao danas na turističkim steroidima.
Podsjetnik na to vrijeme je fotografija snimljena na Četiri kantuna s početka 80-ih godina objavljena u Facebook grupi "Za Zadar!". Na crno-bijeloj fotografiji u prvom planu vidi se trgovina Zadranke na mjestu gdje je danas restoran, a još prije Zadranke je bila pekara, dok je u drugom planu Varoška ulica koja vodi prema Dolini ćupova... Fotografija je izazvala lavinu uspomena i nostalgičnih komentara:
"Predivna fotografija, Zadranka, Četiri kantuna i teta Jelkica s fuštanon i traversom, Bože dragi da vrime nosi i odnosi prošlost, radost"; "Sve pohvale na ovoj fotki"; "Jer sjećam se da je tu bila Mljekara, ako se ne varam, i tu smo na velikom odmoru jurili na marendu... burek od jabuka, kad smo si ga mogli priuštiti"; "Tu se prodavala i ona najukusnija paška puina...ova danas ipak nije tako ukusna...", samo su neki od stotinjak reakcija i lajkova na fotografiju za koju nažalost nismo uspjeli doznati izvor i ime autora.

Sa dragom kod Četiri kantuna
kroz tihu Varoš proći bi zna
na rivu ili uz Donat stari
dok tiho, tiho sniva Zadar grad...
Pjevao je tako 1981. najpoznatiji zadarski kantautor Tomislav Ivčić u svojoj antologijskoj "Kalelargi", no Grad se od tada da danas podosta izmijenio, pa tako i legendarna Četiri kantuna prije četrdeset i kusur godina nisu izgledala kao danas na turističkim steroidima.
Podsjetnik na to vrijeme je fotografija snimljena na Četiri kantuna s početka 80-ih godina objavljena u Facebook grupi "Za Zadar!". Na crno-bijeloj fotografiji u prvom planu vidi se trgovina Zadranke na mjestu gdje je danas restoran, a još prije Zadranke je bila pekara, dok je u drugom planu Varoška ulica koja vodi prema Dolini ćupova... Fotografija je izazvala lavinu uspomena i nostalgičnih komentara:
