Nisam nimalo iznenađen ishodom ovog kvalifikacijskog ciklusa, jer devastacija hrvatske košarke ne traje od prekjučer i poraza od Finske, nego trunjene je počelo skoro prije trideset godina. Ovo što nam se danas događa samo je posljedica nepostojanja programa i rada! I kad se napravi program onda treba raditi kao u rudniku, međutim, kod nas se to nije napravilo, svi smo gledali prema NBA igračima koji su kroz razne „prozore” i turnire, podsjećam, od sedam utakmica izgubili šest, dobili tek jednu. A mene sa kao izbornika , nakon Svjetskog prvenstva u Kanadi 1994. godine i osvojene brončane medalje, pljuvalo sa svih strana. Za one koje ne pamte dobro, imali smo na tom SP-u sedam pobjeda i jedan poraz( 64:66) od Rusije!

Uvijek se držim onoga što pokazuju brojke, pa tako mogu opet ponoviti: „Najviše o nekomu i nečijem radu govore rezultati”! Oni su za nekadašnji dragulj, našu košarku, ne samo porazni nego – očajni! Nema nas nigdje , a i tamo gdje smo imali prigodu biti nismo znali iskoristiti. U ovim zadnjim kvalifikacijama, samo su nam konkurentni trebali biti Slovenci. A nama su osim Slovenije, koja nas je polomila nedavno u Ljubljani, lekcije držali Finska i Švedska.

Sjetite se samo „repesaža” za Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, kad je premijer Andrej Plenković, s njim i Ministar financija Zdravko Marić, obojica benevolentni prema košarci, za „ balon” u Splitu kroz financijski okvir Vlade Republike Hrvatske, za organizaciju keširali 30 milijuna kuna. Računali su kako sport treba biti promotor Hrvatske! Jesmo li prošli? Nismo! Ali me žalosti da nitko nije odgovarao za taj neuspjeh, barem moralno – ostavkom! Umjesto toga ponovno se dalo prigodu istim ljudima, koji, očito je, nisu u stanju voditi hrvatsku košarku!

Stručni savjet? Uopće ne želim komentirati njihov rad, mogu samo kazati kako su nas osramotili i uvrijedili i njihova kolektivna ostavka je jedini moralni čin! Sveli su košarku na razinu nedavno utemeljenog Kosova! Treba raditi, a ne smijuljiti se i glumiti glumu u medijima. A nisu se znali, između ostalog, čvrsto postaviti prema igračima koji rade što žele. Lijepo ih se moglo pitati: „Želite li igrati za Hrvatsku”? Ne želite! Onda to jasno kažite. Uz opasku kako je Stručni savjet dozvolio da neki mogu u reprezentaciju kad se njima prohtije, odnosno, ne postoje ista mjerila za sve. Jedne se osuđuje, drugima gleda kroz prste. Tako to ne ide! Gospodo, ponavljam, samo programski i mukotrpan rad može donijeti rezultat. Drugo ništa! Bez jasnih kriterija tko može biti izbornik i s kojim referencama, i dalje ćemo stajati u mjestu, štoviše, potonuti u živo blato. Ispričavam se, već smo duboko ispod površine!

Nisam nimalo iznenađen ishodom ovog kvalifikacijskog ciklusa, jer devastacija hrvatske košarke ne traje od prekjučer i poraza od Finske, nego trunjene je počelo skoro prije trideset godina. Ovo što nam se danas događa samo je posljedica nepostojanja programa i rada! I kad se napravi program onda treba raditi kao u rudniku, međutim, kod nas se to nije napravilo, svi smo gledali prema NBA igračima koji su kroz razne „prozore” i turnire, podsjećam, od sedam utakmica izgubili šest, dobili tek jednu. A mene sa kao izbornika , nakon Svjetskog prvenstva u Kanadi 1994. godine i osvojene brončane medalje, pljuvalo sa svih strana. Za one koje ne pamte dobro, imali smo na tom SP-u sedam pobjeda i jedan poraz( 64:66) od Rusije!

Uvijek se držim onoga što pokazuju brojke, pa tako mogu opet ponoviti: „Najviše o nekomu i nečijem radu govore rezultati”! Oni su za nekadašnji dragulj, našu košarku, ne samo porazni nego – očajni! Nema nas nigdje , a i tamo gdje smo imali prigodu biti nismo znali iskoristiti. U ovim zadnjim kvalifikacijama, samo su nam konkurentni trebali biti Slovenci. A nama su osim Slovenije, koja nas je polomila nedavno u Ljubljani, lekcije držali Finska i Švedska.

Sjetite se samo „repesaža” za Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, kad je premijer Andrej Plenković, s njim i Ministar financija Zdravko Marić, obojica benevolentni prema košarci, za „ balon” u Splitu kroz financijski okvir Vlade Republike Hrvatske, za organizaciju keširali 30 milijuna kuna. Računali su kako sport treba biti promotor Hrvatske! Jesmo li prošli? Nismo! Ali me žalosti da nitko nije odgovarao za taj neuspjeh, barem moralno – ostavkom! Umjesto toga ponovno se dalo prigodu istim ljudima, koji, očito je, nisu u stanju voditi hrvatsku košarku!

Stručni savjet? Uopće ne želim komentirati njihov rad, mogu samo kazati kako su nas osramotili i uvrijedili i njihova kolektivna ostavka je jedini moralni čin! Sveli su košarku na razinu nedavno utemeljenog Kosova! Treba raditi, a ne smijuljiti se i glumiti glumu u medijima. A nisu se znali, između ostalog, čvrsto postaviti prema igračima koji rade što žele. Lijepo ih se moglo pitati: „Želite li igrati za Hrvatsku”? Ne želite! Onda to jasno kažite. Uz opasku kako je Stručni savjet dozvolio da neki mogu u reprezentaciju kad se njima prohtije, odnosno, ne postoje ista mjerila za sve. Jedne se osuđuje, drugima gleda kroz prste. Tako to ne ide! Gospodo, ponavljam, samo programski i mukotrpan rad može donijeti rezultat. Drugo ništa! Bez jasnih kriterija tko može biti izbornik i s kojim referencama, i dalje ćemo stajati u mjestu, štoviše, potonuti u živo blato. Ispričavam se, već smo duboko ispod površine!

Nisam nimalo iznenađen ishodom ovog kvalifikacijskog ciklusa, jer devastacija hrvatske košarke ne traje od prekjučer i poraza od Finske, nego trunjene je počelo skoro prije trideset godina. Ovo što nam se danas događa samo je posljedica nepostojanja programa i rada! I kad se napravi program onda treba raditi kao u rudniku, međutim, kod nas se to nije napravilo, svi smo gledali prema NBA igračima koji su kroz razne „prozore” i turnire, podsjećam, od sedam utakmica izgubili šest, dobili tek jednu. A mene sa kao izbornika , nakon Svjetskog prvenstva u Kanadi 1994. godine i osvojene brončane medalje, pljuvalo sa svih strana. Za one koje ne pamte dobro, imali smo na tom SP-u sedam pobjeda i jedan poraz( 64:66) od Rusije!

Uvijek se držim onoga što pokazuju brojke, pa tako mogu opet ponoviti: „Najviše o nekomu i nečijem radu govore rezultati”! Oni su za nekadašnji dragulj, našu košarku, ne samo porazni nego – očajni! Nema nas nigdje , a i tamo gdje smo imali prigodu biti nismo znali iskoristiti. U ovim zadnjim kvalifikacijama, samo su nam konkurentni trebali biti Slovenci. A nama su osim Slovenije, koja nas je polomila nedavno u Ljubljani, lekcije držali Finska i Švedska.

Sjetite se samo „repesaža” za Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, kad je premijer Andrej Plenković, s njim i Ministar financija Zdravko Marić, obojica benevolentni prema košarci, za „ balon” u Splitu kroz financijski okvir Vlade Republike Hrvatske, za organizaciju keširali 30 milijuna kuna. Računali su kako sport treba biti promotor Hrvatske! Jesmo li prošli? Nismo! Ali me žalosti da nitko nije odgovarao za taj neuspjeh, barem moralno – ostavkom! Umjesto toga ponovno se dalo prigodu istim ljudima, koji, očito je, nisu u stanju voditi hrvatsku košarku!

Stručni savjet? Uopće ne želim komentirati njihov rad, mogu samo kazati kako su nas osramotili i uvrijedili i njihova kolektivna ostavka je jedini moralni čin! Sveli su košarku na razinu nedavno utemeljenog Kosova! Treba raditi, a ne smijuljiti se i glumiti glumu u medijima. A nisu se znali, između ostalog, čvrsto postaviti prema igračima koji rade što žele. Lijepo ih se moglo pitati: „Želite li igrati za Hrvatsku”? Ne želite! Onda to jasno kažite. Uz opasku kako je Stručni savjet dozvolio da neki mogu u reprezentaciju kad se njima prohtije, odnosno, ne postoje ista mjerila za sve. Jedne se osuđuje, drugima gleda kroz prste. Tako to ne ide! Gospodo, ponavljam, samo programski i mukotrpan rad može donijeti rezultat. Drugo ništa! Bez jasnih kriterija tko može biti izbornik i s kojim referencama, i dalje ćemo stajati u mjestu, štoviše, potonuti u živo blato. Ispričavam se, već smo duboko ispod površine!
