- U crkvi su bili forenzičari, sada je sve stvar policijske istrage - rekao je u petak Anđelo Travica, čuvar svetišta i sakristan u Crkvi sv. Šime u Zadru nakon što je otkriveno da je sa škrinje u kojoj je sačuvano mumificirano tijelo sv. Šime, zadarskog sveca zaštitnika, ukradena zlatna alkica. Zasad nije poznato je li odlomljena rukom ili odrezana nekim alatom, a u crkvi nema video nadzora.

Sakristan Travica prije jutarnje mise otvori vrata crkve, tijekom euharistije ministrira, čita misna čitanja i kadi, a na kraju svetog obreda otvori pozlaćenu škrinju iznad oltara kako bi vjernički puk, kroz kristalno staklo, mogao vidjeti sačuvano okamenjeno tijelo Šimuna Bogoprimca.  Zadnjih osamnaest godina potpuno je posvetio svetom Šimi, pa mu je o pljački škrinje u kojoj se čuva tijelo proroka Šimuna, čovjeka koji je držao Isusa u rukama iznimno teško govoriti.

- Teško je to i kompleksno. U osamnaest godina moje službe nikada se tako nešto nije dogodilo. Ne bih htio ništa komentirati dok traje policijska istraga - rekao je Travica, sakristan crkve Sv. Šime u kojoj je večer prije za zadarsku HVIDRU tradicionalno održana misa zadušnica.

- Krađa se dogodila ranije - rekao je Travica.

U zadarskoj policiji navode kako su u tijeku istražne radnje, ali ne navode imaju li sumnjivca odgovornog za skrnavljenje škrinje zadarskog zaštitnika.

- U crkvi su bili forenzičari, sada je sve stvar policijske istrage - rekao je u petak Anđelo Travica, čuvar svetišta i sakristan u Crkvi sv. Šime u Zadru nakon što je otkriveno da je sa škrinje u kojoj je sačuvano mumificirano tijelo sv. Šime, zadarskog sveca zaštitnika, ukradena zlatna alkica. Zasad nije poznato je li odlomljena rukom ili odrezana nekim alatom, a u crkvi nema video nadzora.

Sakristan Travica prije jutarnje mise otvori vrata crkve, tijekom euharistije ministrira, čita misna čitanja i kadi, a na kraju svetog obreda otvori pozlaćenu škrinju iznad oltara kako bi vjernički puk, kroz kristalno staklo, mogao vidjeti sačuvano okamenjeno tijelo Šimuna Bogoprimca.  Zadnjih osamnaest godina potpuno je posvetio svetom Šimi, pa mu je o pljački škrinje u kojoj se čuva tijelo proroka Šimuna, čovjeka koji je držao Isusa u rukama iznimno teško govoriti.

- Teško je to i kompleksno. U osamnaest godina moje službe nikada se tako nešto nije dogodilo. Ne bih htio ništa komentirati dok traje policijska istraga - rekao je Travica, sakristan crkve Sv. Šime u kojoj je večer prije za zadarsku HVIDRU tradicionalno održana misa zadušnica.

- Krađa se dogodila ranije - rekao je Travica.

U zadarskoj policiji navode kako su u tijeku istražne radnje, ali ne navode imaju li sumnjivca odgovornog za skrnavljenje škrinje zadarskog zaštitnika.
