Da nije bilo jezivih fotografija koje su gorjele društvenim mrežama, a nad kojima se većina hrvatskoga stanovništa zgražala, s prizorima zjapećih rana pasa netom skinutih s lanaca iz potresom pogođenih područja i mučnih priča volonterki i volontera koji su ih spašavali, možda ne bi bilo ni tolikog interesa za kampanju koju su pokrenule tri najveće udruge za zaštitu životinja u Hrvatskoj, čija je svakodnevna realnost ispunjena spašavanjem upravo pasa koji su proživjeli traumu lanca.
Prijatelji životinja, Sklonište Prijatelji Čakovec, Udruga Pobjede i druge članice Mreže za zaštitu životinja velikom nacionalnom kampanjom „Za Hrvatsku bez pasa na lancu” traže hitnu izmjenu postojećeg Zakona o zaštiti životinja uvođenjem potpune zabrane držanja pasa na lancu.
- Pse nazivamo najboljim čovjekovim prijateljem, a osuđujemo ih na ropstvo, na život u radijusu od nekoliko metara. Oni, koji po svojoj naravi vole slobodu više nego ljudi, kojima je priroda trčati, njuškati, istraživati, vezani su 10, 15 godina na iste te lančuge da bi što? Umrli u tom istom blatu poput psa Bobija iz okolice Petrinje koji je umirao u agoniji danima dok ga nisu spasili volonteri tek toliko da umre na toplom i uz ljudski dodir i utjehu - tako ne samo da govore nego i osjećaju aktivisti čakovečkog skloništa Prijatelji koji su od samih početaka, uz još mnoge druge udruge, bili na terenu i spašavali unesrećene pse.
Ništa drukčije iskustvo nema ni Udruga Pobjede koja vodi osječki azil za pse, koja se u sličnoj situaciji našla u Posavini spašavajući pse iz poplavljenih područja.
- Nezamislivo je koliko ljudi mogu biti okrutni prema onima koje zovemo najboljim prijateljima čovjeka. Čak i danas, sedam godina kasnije, teško je živjeti sa scenama kojima su ti dani bili ispunjeni: mrtvi psi koje nitko nije niti pustio s lanaca kad je Sava krenula nadirati. I danas, baš zbog tih pasa koji se nisu imali priliku niti spasiti, dijelom smo ove kampanje, za sve one koji su danas na njihovu mjestu! Svaki život, ma kako on malen nama bio, velik je onome tko ga živi i za svaki taj život želimo se boriti! - kažu iz Pobjeda.

Prijatelji životinja, koji godinama rade na izmjenama Zakona, jasni su u namjeri da se Zakon o zaštiti životinja mora promijeniti i da se držanje pasa na lancima mora potpuno zabraniti: „Od 2005. godine borimo se za potpunu zabranu držanja pasa na lancima. Smatramo da nitko tko nema uvjete za skrb o psu ne bi trebao niti imati psa. Držanje pasa na lancima sramotno je i nedopustivo.”
Ove tri udruge, uz podršku svih udruga Mreže za zaštitu životinja, kao i velike većine građana, institucija i osoba iz javnoga života žele promjenu, žele ovim potezom spasiti tisuće i tisuće životinja koje trenutačno robijaju, ali i one koje se još nisu niti rodile.
U tome ih je podržala tvrtka koja je poznata po društveno angažiranom radu, a koja je svoju proljetnu kampanju „Treba znati prerezati”, predstavljenu na više od 350 jumbo plakata, upravo posvetila želji da više nijedan pas ne bi trebao živjeti na lancu.

Da nije bilo jezivih fotografija koje su gorjele društvenim mrežama, a nad kojima se većina hrvatskoga stanovništa zgražala, s prizorima zjapećih rana pasa netom skinutih s lanaca iz potresom pogođenih područja i mučnih priča volonterki i volontera koji su ih spašavali, možda ne bi bilo ni tolikog interesa za kampanju koju su pokrenule tri najveće udruge za zaštitu životinja u Hrvatskoj, čija je svakodnevna realnost ispunjena spašavanjem upravo pasa koji su proživjeli traumu lanca.
Prijatelji životinja, Sklonište Prijatelji Čakovec, Udruga Pobjede i druge članice Mreže za zaštitu životinja velikom nacionalnom kampanjom „Za Hrvatsku bez pasa na lancu” traže hitnu izmjenu postojećeg Zakona o zaštiti životinja uvođenjem potpune zabrane držanja pasa na lancu.
- Pse nazivamo najboljim čovjekovim prijateljem, a osuđujemo ih na ropstvo, na život u radijusu od nekoliko metara. Oni, koji po svojoj naravi vole slobodu više nego ljudi, kojima je priroda trčati, njuškati, istraživati, vezani su 10, 15 godina na iste te lančuge da bi što? Umrli u tom istom blatu poput psa Bobija iz okolice Petrinje koji je umirao u agoniji danima dok ga nisu spasili volonteri tek toliko da umre na toplom i uz ljudski dodir i utjehu - tako ne samo da govore nego i osjećaju aktivisti čakovečkog skloništa Prijatelji koji su od samih početaka, uz još mnoge druge udruge, bili na terenu i spašavali unesrećene pse.
Ništa drukčije iskustvo nema ni Udruga Pobjede koja vodi osječki azil za pse, koja se u sličnoj situaciji našla u Posavini spašavajući pse iz poplavljenih područja.
- Nezamislivo je koliko ljudi mogu biti okrutni prema onima koje zovemo najboljim prijateljima čovjeka. Čak i danas, sedam godina kasnije, teško je živjeti sa scenama kojima su ti dani bili ispunjeni: mrtvi psi koje nitko nije niti pustio s lanaca kad je Sava krenula nadirati. I danas, baš zbog tih pasa koji se nisu imali priliku niti spasiti, dijelom smo ove kampanje, za sve one koji su danas na njihovu mjestu! Svaki život, ma kako on malen nama bio, velik je onome tko ga živi i za svaki taj život želimo se boriti! - kažu iz Pobjeda.

Prijatelji životinja, koji godinama rade na izmjenama Zakona, jasni su u namjeri da se Zakon o zaštiti životinja mora promijeniti i da se držanje pasa na lancima mora potpuno zabraniti: „Od 2005. godine borimo se za potpunu zabranu držanja pasa na lancima. Smatramo da nitko tko nema uvjete za skrb o psu ne bi trebao niti imati psa. Držanje pasa na lancima sramotno je i nedopustivo.”
Ove tri udruge, uz podršku svih udruga Mreže za zaštitu životinja, kao i velike većine građana, institucija i osoba iz javnoga života žele promjenu, žele ovim potezom spasiti tisuće i tisuće životinja koje trenutačno robijaju, ali i one koje se još nisu niti rodile.
U tome ih je podržala tvrtka koja je poznata po društveno angažiranom radu, a koja je svoju proljetnu kampanju „Treba znati prerezati”, predstavljenu na više od 350 jumbo plakata, upravo posvetila želji da više nijedan pas ne bi trebao živjeti na lancu.
