Arheološki muzej Zadar, Veleposlanstvo Irske, Nacionalna služba za spomenike Irske i Arheološki muzej u Zagrebu imaju čast pozvati Vas na otvorenje izložbe  „Slavimo Arheološku baštinu Irske“ u četvrtak, 11. svibnja 2023. u 12 sati u crkvi sv. Donata.

Fotografije prikazuju tridesetak najrelevantnijih arheoloških spomenika, krajolika i povijesnih građevina Irske, koji su izdvojeni iz gotovo 12 tisuća godina ljudskog naseljavanja otoka. Irska arheološka baština privući će vas svojom raznolikošću neobičnih lokaliteta, poput tumula iz Newgrangea gdje pravi doživljaj vjere drevnih ljudi možete iskusiti tijekom zimskog solsticija, zatim rezidencije zloglasne obitelji pomorskih gusara ili lokacije snimanja nekih od velikih Hollywoodskih blockbustera (Star Warsa), te ćete nakon izložbe poželjeti i uživo posjetiti sve lokalitete.  S druge strane, snimljene fotografije predstavljaju zapis koji arheolozima predstavlja iznimno vrijedne konzervacijske bilješke za budućnost europske i svjetske baštine, što je jedna i od nezaobilaznih poruka autora izložbe Michael MacDonagha.

Arheološki muzej Zadar, Veleposlanstvo Irske, Nacionalna služba za spomenike Irske i Arheološki muzej u Zagrebu imaju čast pozvati Vas na otvorenje izložbe  „Slavimo Arheološku baštinu Irske“ u četvrtak, 11. svibnja 2023. u 12 sati u crkvi sv. Donata.

Fotografije prikazuju tridesetak najrelevantnijih arheoloških spomenika, krajolika i povijesnih građevina Irske, koji su izdvojeni iz gotovo 12 tisuća godina ljudskog naseljavanja otoka. Irska arheološka baština privući će vas svojom raznolikošću neobičnih lokaliteta, poput tumula iz Newgrangea gdje pravi doživljaj vjere drevnih ljudi možete iskusiti tijekom zimskog solsticija, zatim rezidencije zloglasne obitelji pomorskih gusara ili lokacije snimanja nekih od velikih Hollywoodskih blockbustera (Star Warsa), te ćete nakon izložbe poželjeti i uživo posjetiti sve lokalitete.  S druge strane, snimljene fotografije predstavljaju zapis koji arheolozima predstavlja iznimno vrijedne konzervacijske bilješke za budućnost europske i svjetske baštine, što je jedna i od nezaobilaznih poruka autora izložbe Michael MacDonagha.

U četvrtak u sv. Donatu: „Slavimo Arheološku baštinu Irske“

Arheološki muzej Zadar, Veleposlanstvo Irske, Nacionalna služba za spomenike Irske i Arheološki muzej u Zagrebu imaju čast pozvati Vas na otvorenje izložbe  „Slavimo Arheološku baštinu Irske“ u četvrtak, 11. svibnja 2023. u 12 sati u crkvi sv. Donata.

Fotografije prikazuju tridesetak najrelevantnijih arheoloških spomenika, krajolika i povijesnih građevina Irske, koji su izdvojeni iz gotovo 12 tisuća godina ljudskog naseljavanja otoka. Irska arheološka baština privući će vas svojom raznolikošću neobičnih lokaliteta, poput tumula iz Newgrangea gdje pravi doživljaj vjere drevnih ljudi možete iskusiti tijekom zimskog solsticija, zatim rezidencije zloglasne obitelji pomorskih gusara ili lokacije snimanja nekih od velikih Hollywoodskih blockbustera (Star Warsa), te ćete nakon izložbe poželjeti i uživo posjetiti sve lokalitete.  S druge strane, snimljene fotografije predstavljaju zapis koji arheolozima predstavlja iznimno vrijedne konzervacijske bilješke za budućnost europske i svjetske baštine, što je jedna i od nezaobilaznih poruka autora izložbe Michael MacDonagha.

Radujemo se vašem dolasku i nadamo se da ćete uživati u izložbi, koja je plod suradnje Državne službe za spomenike Irske, Veleposlanstva Irske i Arheološkog muzeja u Zagrebu.

Autori izložbe su: Michael MacDonagh, glavni arheolog u Državnoj službi za spomenike Irske i John Lalor, fotograf u Državnoj službi za spomenike Irske.

Kustosi izložbe su Dušanka Romanović, viša kustosica Arheološkog muzeja Zadar i Porin Šćukanec Rezniček, stručni suradnik Arheološkog muzeja Zagreb

Izložbu možete razgledati od 11. svibnja do 27. lipnja 2023.  u crkvi sv. Donata.
