Države članice EU-a dogovorile su u srijedu zajedničko stajalište o jedinstvenom punjaču za elektroničke uređaje, na temelju kojeg će pregovarati s Europskim parlamentom o konačnom tekstu zakona. Zajedničko stajalište, koje su usuglasili veleposlanici država članica u Odboru stalnih predstavnika (Coreper), predstavlja mandat koji predsjedništvu Vijeća omogućava da započne pregovore s Europskim parlamentom nakon što parlament postigne dogovor o svojem stajalištu.


Europska komisija je 23. rujna prošle godine predložila rješenje za punjenje elektroničkih  uređaja poput mobitela i tableta, koji bi svi trebali imati USB ulazni utor tipa C, što je ključni korak za konačno uvođenje univerzalnog punjača. Komisija je predložila izmjenu direktive prema kojem bi USB tipa C trebao postati standardni utor za punjenje pametnih telefona, tableta, kamera, slušalica, prijenosnih zvučnika i ručnih konzola za video igre. Jedinstveni utor USB-C omogućit će potrošačima da pune uređaje istim USB-C punjačem, neovisno o marki uređaja.


U prijedlogu se predviđa prodaja punjača odvojeno od elektroničkih uređaja, što znači da  novi punjač neće nužno biti uključen pri kupnji novog uređaja. Time bi se trebala smanjiti količina elektroničkog otpada. Zajedničko rješenje za punjenje elektronskih uređaja trebalo bi znatno smanjiti broj punjača koji se gomilaju u domovima potrošača i donijeti znatne uštede. Prema procjenama Komisije, potrošači u EU-u bi mogli uštedjeti 250 milijuna eura godišnje koje troše na nepotrebnu kupovinu punjača. To bi također trebalo smanjiti količinu elektroničkog otpada za oko tisuću tona godišnje.

Komisija još od 2009. pokušava riješiti problem jedinstvenog punjača elektroničkih uređaja, što je dovelo do znatnog smanjenja broja različitih punjača i rješenja za punjenja s oko tridesetak na današnja tri. Da bi se došlo do univerzalnog punjača potrebno je osigurati punu interoperabilnost s obje strane kabela: elektroničkog uređaja i utikača za vanjsko napajanje. Komisija najavljuje da će predložiti promjenu uredbe u tom smislu koja bi stupila na snagu istodobno s novom direktivom.


Najveći otpor prema univerzalnom punjaču već godinama dolazi od američkog proizvođača Apple. Većina telefona koji se danas prodaju koriste mikro-USB utore za punjenje, ali ne i Appleov Iphone, koji se ne može napuniti s punjačem napravljenim za najčešće korištene Android proizvode.

Države članice EU-a dogovorile su u srijedu zajedničko stajalište o jedinstvenom punjaču za elektroničke uređaje, na temelju kojeg će pregovarati s Europskim parlamentom o konačnom tekstu zakona. Zajedničko stajalište, koje su usuglasili veleposlanici država članica u Odboru stalnih predstavnika (Coreper), predstavlja mandat koji predsjedništvu Vijeća omogućava da započne pregovore s Europskim parlamentom nakon što parlament postigne dogovor o svojem stajalištu.


Europska komisija je 23. rujna prošle godine predložila rješenje za punjenje elektroničkih  uređaja poput mobitela i tableta, koji bi svi trebali imati USB ulazni utor tipa C, što je ključni korak za konačno uvođenje univerzalnog punjača. Komisija je predložila izmjenu direktive prema kojem bi USB tipa C trebao postati standardni utor za punjenje pametnih telefona, tableta, kamera, slušalica, prijenosnih zvučnika i ručnih konzola za video igre. Jedinstveni utor USB-C omogućit će potrošačima da pune uređaje istim USB-C punjačem, neovisno o marki uređaja.


U prijedlogu se predviđa prodaja punjača odvojeno od elektroničkih uređaja, što znači da  novi punjač neće nužno biti uključen pri kupnji novog uređaja. Time bi se trebala smanjiti količina elektroničkog otpada. Zajedničko rješenje za punjenje elektronskih uređaja trebalo bi znatno smanjiti broj punjača koji se gomilaju u domovima potrošača i donijeti znatne uštede. Prema procjenama Komisije, potrošači u EU-u bi mogli uštedjeti 250 milijuna eura godišnje koje troše na nepotrebnu kupovinu punjača. To bi također trebalo smanjiti količinu elektroničkog otpada za oko tisuću tona godišnje.

Komisija još od 2009. pokušava riješiti problem jedinstvenog punjača elektroničkih uređaja, što je dovelo do znatnog smanjenja broja različitih punjača i rješenja za punjenja s oko tridesetak na današnja tri. Da bi se došlo do univerzalnog punjača potrebno je osigurati punu interoperabilnost s obje strane kabela: elektroničkog uređaja i utikača za vanjsko napajanje. Komisija najavljuje da će predložiti promjenu uredbe u tom smislu koja bi stupila na snagu istodobno s novom direktivom.


Najveći otpor prema univerzalnom punjaču već godinama dolazi od američkog proizvođača Apple. Većina telefona koji se danas prodaju koriste mikro-USB utore za punjenje, ali ne i Appleov Iphone, koji se ne može napuniti s punjačem napravljenim za najčešće korištene Android proizvode.

Države članice EU-a dogovorile su u srijedu zajedničko stajalište o jedinstvenom punjaču za elektroničke uređaje, na temelju kojeg će pregovarati s Europskim parlamentom o konačnom tekstu zakona. Zajedničko stajalište, koje su usuglasili veleposlanici država članica u Odboru stalnih predstavnika (Coreper), predstavlja mandat koji predsjedništvu Vijeća omogućava da započne pregovore s Europskim parlamentom nakon što parlament postigne dogovor o svojem stajalištu.


Europska komisija je 23. rujna prošle godine predložila rješenje za punjenje elektroničkih  uređaja poput mobitela i tableta, koji bi svi trebali imati USB ulazni utor tipa C, što je ključni korak za konačno uvođenje univerzalnog punjača. Komisija je predložila izmjenu direktive prema kojem bi USB tipa C trebao...
