Ukrajinci koji su posljednja dva mjeseca u SAD-u na obuci za korištenje moćnog sustava protuzračne obrane Patriot impresionirali su svoje američke učitelje. Ukrajinci su, naime, naučili osnove sustava Patriot tako brzo da su dobili dodatnu, intenzivnu obuku koja se rijetko pruža njihovim američkim kolegama koji su završili isti tečaj.

"Bilo im je lakše, iako nikad lako, shvatiti tempo i održavanje. Naša je procjena da su ukrajinski vojnici impresivni i brzo uče zbog svog opsežnog znanja o protuzračnoj obrani i iskustva u zoni borbe", rekao je za CNN brigadni general Shane Morgan, zapovjednik u Fort Sill i Fires centru izvrsnosti.

Fort Sill jedina je lokacija na američkom tlu gdje Amerikanci podučavaju Ukrajince o američkim oružanim sustavima. Ukrajinke i Ukrajinci u rasponu od 19 do 67 godina trenirali su od 7 do 18 sati, šest dana u tjednu, tijekom deset tjedana. Mnogi su bili iskusni inženjeri prije rata, a nekoliko ih posjeduje višestruke diplome, prenosi Jutarnji list.

"Mislim da su zbog svoga borbenog iskustva kod kuće mogli vrlo lako shvatiti stvari, i to na najbolji način što sam dosad vidio, a obučavao sam brojne zemlje", rekao je jedan američki trener. Američki instruktori radili su na tome da u obuku uključe realne prijetnje i uvjete s kojima će se ukrajinske trupe suočiti kada se vrate kući. Ali, često bi Ukrajinci u biti sami preuzeli obuku, prilagođavajući je najrealnijim vrstama prijetnji s kojima se mogu suočiti kod kuće.

"Obično to ne radimo. Ali, bilo je vrlo važno da smo uspjeli voditi taj dijalog i uključiti neke od tih realnih prijetnji", dodao je trener. Jednom u Ukrajini, vojnici će integrirati ove nove sustave u svoju slojevitu protuzračnu obranu, što će im pomoći u zaštiti Ukrajine od ruskih napada na civilnu infrastrukturu u gusto naseljenim urbanim područjima.

Ukrajinci koji su posljednja dva mjeseca u SAD-u na obuci za korištenje moćnog sustava protuzračne obrane Patriot impresionirali su svoje američke učitelje. Ukrajinci su, naime, naučili osnove sustava Patriot tako brzo da su dobili dodatnu, intenzivnu obuku koja se rijetko pruža njihovim američkim kolegama koji su završili isti tečaj.

"Bilo im je lakše, iako nikad lako, shvatiti tempo i održavanje. Naša je procjena da su ukrajinski vojnici impresivni i brzo uče zbog svog opsežnog znanja o protuzračnoj obrani i iskustva u zoni borbe", rekao je za CNN brigadni general Shane Morgan, zapovjednik u Fort Sill i Fires centru izvrsnosti.

Fort Sill jedina je lokacija na američkom tlu gdje Amerikanci podučavaju Ukrajince o američkim oružanim sustavima. Ukrajinke i Ukrajinci u rasponu od 19 do 67 godina trenirali su od 7 do 18 sati, šest dana u tjednu, tijekom deset tjedana. "Mislim da su zbog svoga borbenog iskustva kod kuće mogli vrlo lako shvatiti stvari, i to na najbolji način što sam dosad vidio, a obučavao sam brojne zemlje", rekao je jedan američki trener. Američki instruktori radili su na tome da u obuku uključe realne prijetnje i uvjete s kojima će se ukrajinske trupe suočiti kada se vrate kući. Ali, često bi Ukrajinci u biti sami preuzeli obuku, prilagođavajući je najrealnijim vrstama prijetnji s kojima se mogu suočiti kod kuće.

"Obično to ne radimo. Ali, bilo je vrlo važno da smo uspjeli voditi taj dijalog i uključiti neke od tih realnih prijetnji", dodao je trener. Jednom u Ukrajini, vojnici će integrirati ove nove sustave u svoju slojevitu protuzračnu obranu, što će im pomoći u zaštiti Ukrajine od ruskih napada na civilnu infrastrukturu u gusto naseljenim urbanim područjima.

Ukrajinci koji su posljednja dva mjeseca u SAD-u na obuci za korištenje moćnog sustava protuzračne obrane Patriot impresionirali su svoje američke učitelje. Ukrajinci su, naime, naučili osnove sustava Patriot tako brzo da su dobili dodatnu, intenzivnu obuku koja se rijetko pruža njihovim američkim kolegama koji su završili isti tečaj.

"Bilo im je lakše, iako nikad lako, shvatiti tempo i održavanje. Naša je procjena da su ukrajinski vojnici impresivni i brzo uče zbog svog opsežnog znanja o protuzračnoj obrani i iskustva u zoni borbe", rekao je za CNN brigadni general Shane Morgan, zapovjednik u Fort Sill i Fires centru izvrsnosti.
