Broj poginulih u eksploziji skladišta goriva u Gorskom Karabahu porastao je na 125, izvijestio je Interfax Azerbajdžan pozivajući se na zdravstvene vlasti u utorak dok se nastavlja egzodus Armenaca kojih je dosad izbjeglo 28.120 u Armeniju.

Broj žrtava nerazjašnjene eksplozije u ponedjeljak naglo je porastao pošto su armenske vlasti Gorskog Karabaha u utorak ujutro izvijestile o 20 mrtvih.

Eksplozija se dogodila dok traje egzodus Armenaca koje je u munjevitoj 24 sata dugoj vojnoj operaciji porazila azerbajdžanska vojska. Tijela poginulih u eksploziji u blizini Stepanakerta, glavnog grada Gorskog Karabaha, prevezena su u Armeniju, priopćilo je armensko ministarstvo zdravstva. Ranije u utorak, Međunarodni odbor Crvenog križa (ICRC) priopćio je da stotine ljudi imaju opekline zbog eksplozije. ICRC je istaknuo da pruža medicinsku pomoć onima koji pate od opeklina i da evakuira neke ljude kolima hitne pomoći, navodeći pune bolnice i promet kao izazove.

Do 18 sati u utorak 28.120 od ukupno 120 tisuća Armenaca iz Gorskog Karabaha izbjeglo je u Armeniju, objavila je armenska vlada. Glasnogovornik glavnog tajnika UN-a Antonija Guterresa pozvao je u utorak da se poštuju prava tisuća stanovnika koji bježe iz regije. "Glavni tajnik vrlo je zabrinut zbog preseljenja stanovništva u Armeniju koju pratimo nakon nedavnih događaja. U prvom redu bitno je zaštititi prava raseljenog stanovništva i pružiti im potrebnu humanitarnu pomoć", rekao je glasnogovornik Stéphane Dujarric.

Američki državni tajnik Antony Blinken razgovarao je u utorak s azerbajdžanskim predsjednikom Ilhamom Alijevim o Karabahu, rekao je glasnogovornik State Departmenta Matthew Miller.  

Alijev je uvjeravao da više neće vojnog djelovanja i Washington očekuje da će se toga pridržavati, rekao je Miller. Na brifingu za novinare Miller je kazao kako je Blinken naglasio nužnost da ne dođe do novih sukoba te da mora postojati bezuvjetna zaštita slobode kretanja za civile i neometan humanitarni pristup Gorskom Karabahu.

Azerbajdžan je prošli tjedan kratkom, učinkovitom ofenzivom primorao Armence Karabaha da pristanu na prekid vatre po uvjetima Bakua. Od tada su regiju napustile tisuće etničkih Armenaca. Baku je obećao zaštiti prava njih gotovo 120 tisuća koliko je živjelo u Gorskom Karabahu, no oni strahuju od etničkog čišćenja.

Dvije bivše sovjetske republike vojno su se sukobile od 1988. do 1994. (30.000 mrtvih) i u jesen 2020. (6.500 mrtvih). Broj poginulih u prošlotjednoj munjevitoj invaziji iznosi 200 mrtvih, objavila je armenska strana. Azerbajdžanska pobjeda mijenja ravnotežu snaga u regiji Južnog Kavkaza, šarenilu etničkih skupina ispresijecanih naftovodima i plinovodima gdje se Rusija, Sjedinjene Države, Turska i Iran bore za utjecaj. 

Od raspada Sovjetskog Saveza, Armenija se oslanjala na sigurnosno partnerstvo s Rusijom, a Azerbajdžan se zbližio s Turskom, s kojom dijeli jezične i kulturne veze. Armenija sada traži bliže veze sa Zapadom i krivi Rusiju, koja je imala mirovne snage u Karabahu, ali je sada zaokupljena ratom u Ukrajini, što nije uspjela zaštititi Karabah. Moskva negira krivnju i optužuje službeni Erevan da čini veliku pogrešku što koketira sa Sjedinjenim Državama.

Broj poginulih u eksploziji skladišta goriva u Gorskom Karabahu porastao je na 125, izvijestio je Interfax Azerbajdžan pozivajući se na zdravstvene vlasti u utorak dok se nastavlja egzodus Armenaca kojih je dosad izbjeglo 28.120 u Armeniju.

Broj žrtava nerazjašnjene eksplozije u ponedjeljak naglo je porastao pošto su armenske vlasti Gorskog Karabaha u utorak ujutro izvijestile o 20 mrtvih.

Eksplozija se dogodila dok traje egzodus Armenaca koje je u munjevitoj 24 sata dugoj vojnoj operaciji porazila azerbajdžanska vojska. Tijela poginulih u eksploziji u blizini Stepanakerta, glavnog grada Gorskog Karabaha, prevezena su u Armeniju, priopćilo je armensko ministarstvo zdravstva. Ranije u utorak, Međunarodni odbor Crvenog križa (ICRC) priopćio je da stotine ljudi imaju opekline zbog eksplozije. ICRC je istaknuo da pruža medicinsku pomoć onima koji pate od opeklina i da evakuira neke ljude kolima hitne pomoći, navodeći pune bolnice i promet kao izazove.

Do 18 sati u utorak 28.120 od ukupno 120 tisuća Armenaca iz Gorskog Karabaha izbjeglo je u Armeniju, objavila je armenska vlada. Glasnogovornik glavnog tajnika UN-a Antonija Guterresa pozvao je u utorak da se poštuju prava tisuća stanovnika koji bježe iz regije. "Glavni tajnik vrlo je zabrinut zbog preseljenja stanovništva u Armeniju koju pratimo nakon nedavnih događaja. U prvom redu bitno je zaštititi prava raseljenog stanovništva i pružiti im potrebnu humanitarnu pomoć", rekao je glasnogovornik Stéphane Dujarric.

Američki državni tajnik Antony Blinken razgovarao je u utorak s azerbajdžanskim predsjednikom Ilhamom Alijevim o Karabahu, rekao je glasnogovornik State Departmenta Matthew Miller.  

Alijev je uvjeravao da više neće vojnog djelovanja i Washington očekuje da će se toga pridržavati, rekao je Miller. Na brifingu za novinare Miller je kazao kako je Blinken naglasio nužnost da ne dođe do novih sukoba te da mora postojati bezuvjetna zaštita slobode kretanja za civile i neometan humanitarni pristup Gorskom Karabahu.

Azerbajdžan je prošli tjedan kratkom, učinkovitom ofenzivom primorao Armence Karabaha da pristanu na prekid vatre po uvjetima Bakua. Od tada su regiju napustile tisuće etničkih Armenaca. Baku je obećao zaštiti prava njih gotovo 120 tisuća koliko je živjelo u Gorskom Karabahu, no oni strahuju od etničkog čišćenja.

Dvije bivše sovjetske republike vojno su se sukobile od 1988. do 1994. (30.000 mrtvih) i u jesen 2020. (6.500 mrtvih). Broj poginulih u prošlotjednoj munjevitoj invaziji iznosi 200 mrtvih, objavila je armenska strana. Azerbajdžanska pobjeda mijenja ravnotežu snaga u regiji Južnog Kavkaza, šarenilu etničkih skupina ispresijecanih naftovodima i plinovodima gdje se Rusija, Sjedinjene Države, Turska i Iran bore za utjecaj. 

Od raspada Sovjetskog Saveza, Armenija se oslanjala na sigurnosno partnerstvo s Rusijom, a Azerbajdžan se zbližio s Turskom, s kojom dijeli jezične i kulturne veze. Armenija sada traži bliže veze sa Zapadom i krivi Rusiju, koja je imala mirovne snage u Karabahu, ali je sada zaokupljena ratom u Ukrajini, što nije uspjela zaštititi Karabah. Moskva negira krivnju i optužuje službeni Erevan da čini veliku pogrešku što koketira sa Sjedinjenim Državama.
