Uzbekistansko ministarstvo zdravlja objavilo je u srijedu da je najmanje 18 djece umrlo nakon što su konzumirali medicinski sirup koji je proizveo indijski proizvođač lijekova Marion Biotech Pvt Ltd.

Ministarstvo je objavilo da je 18 od 21 djece koja su koristila sirup Doc-1 Max zbog akutne respiratorne bolesti umrlo nakon toga. Sirup se reklamira kao lijek za prehladu i gripu.

Pošiljka sirupa sadržavala je etilen-glikol koji je toksičan, po ministarstvu.

U zemlju ga je uvezao Quramax Medical LLC.

Marion Biotech, Quramax Medical i indijsko ministarstvo zdravlja nisu odgovorili na Reutersov zahtjev za komentarom.

Incident je sličan incidentu koji se dogodio u Gambiji gdje je najmanje 70 djece umrlo nakon korištenja sirupa protiv prehlade i kašlja koji je proizveo Maiden Pharmaceuticals Ltd. iz New Delhija. Indijska vlada i ta tvrtka zanijekali su da su za to bili krivi njihovi lijekovi.

Uzbečko ministarstvo zdravlja objavilo je da je dalo otkaze sedmero zaposlenika zbog nemara jer nisu pravodobno analizirali smrtne slučajeve i poduzeli potrebne mjere. Poduzete su i disciplinske mjere protiv nekih "specijalista", a tablete i sirupi Doc-1 Max povučeni su iz ljekarni.

Uzbekistansko ministarstvo zdravlja objavilo je u srijedu da je najmanje 18 djece umrlo nakon što su konzumirali medicinski sirup koji je proizveo indijski proizvođač lijekova Marion Biotech Pvt Ltd.

Ministarstvo je objavilo da je 18 od 21 djece koja su koristila sirup Doc-1 Max zbog akutne respiratorne bolesti umrlo nakon toga. Sirup se reklamira kao lijek za prehladu i gripu.

Pošiljka sirupa sadržavala je etilen-glikol koji je toksičan, po ministarstvu.

U zemlju ga je uvezao Quramax Medical LLC.

Marion Biotech, Quramax Medical i indijsko ministarstvo zdravlja nisu odgovorili na Reutersov zahtjev za komentarom.

Incident je sličan incidentu koji se dogodio u Gambiji gdje je najmanje 70 djece umrlo nakon korištenja sirupa protiv prehlade i kašlja koji je proizveo Maiden Pharmaceuticals Ltd. iz New Delhija. Indijska vlada i ta tvrtka zanijekali su da su za to bili krivi njihovi lijekovi.

Uzbečko ministarstvo zdravlja objavilo je da je dalo otkaze sedmero zaposlenika zbog nemara jer nisu pravodobno analizirali smrtne slučajeve i poduzeli potrebne mjere. Poduzete su i disciplinske mjere protiv nekih "specijalista", a tablete i sirupi Doc-1 Max povučeni su iz ljekarni.

Strava u Uzbekistanu: 18 djece umrlo nakon konzumacije sirupa iz Indije koji se reklamirao kao lijek za prehladu i gripu

Uzbekistansko ministarstvo zdravlja objavilo je u srijedu da je najmanje 18 djece umrlo nakon što su konzumirali medicinski sirup koji je proizveo indijski proizvođač lijekova Marion Biotech Pvt Ltd.

Ministarstvo je objavilo da je 18 od 21 djece koja su koristila sirup Doc-1 Max zbog akutne respiratorne bolesti umrlo nakon toga. Sirup se reklamira kao lijek za prehladu i gripu.

Pošiljka sirupa sadržavala je etilen-glikol koji je toksičan, po ministarstvu.

U zemlju ga je uvezao Quramax Medical LLC.

Marion Biotech, Quramax Medical i indijsko ministarstvo zdravlja nisu odgovorili na Reutersov zahtjev za komentarom.

Incident je sličan incidentu koji se dogodio u Gambiji gdje je najmanje 70 djece umrlo nakon korištenja sirupa protiv prehlade i kašlja koji je proizveo Maiden Pharmaceutica...
