Čelnici osam najbogatijih zemalja svijeta u srijedu na summitu u talijanskom gradu L'Aquili su pojačali pritisak na Kinu i Indiju kako bi se zasutavilo globalno zagrijavanje.

Prvog dana svog godišnjeg skupa čelnici zemalja skupine G8 odgovorili su na upozorenja znanstvenika i složili su se da globalna temperatura ne bi smjela porasti za više od dva Celzijeva stupnja.

"Mi znamo da su znanstvenici u pravu", rekla je njemačka kancelarka Angela Merkel koja je i sama bila znanstvenica prije no što je postala političarka.

Nakon što je prošle godine sličan sporazum blokirao bivši predsjednik SAD-a George Bush njegov se nasljednik Barack Obama pokazao ključnim u u postizanju konsenzusa u L'Aquili.

Čelnici G8 su dogovorili da industrijalizirane zemlje svoju emisiju stakleničkih plinova do 2050. godine smanje za 80 posto što je dio globalnog cilja smanjenja takvih plinova za 50 posto od strane svih nacija, bogatih i siromašnih.

"Europa i Sjedinjene Države čvrsto su za smanjenje emisije ugljičnog dioksida", rekao je domaćin skupa Silvio Berlusconi.

"Morat ćemo pregovarati no važno je ujediniti se s Indijom i Kinom jer bi smanjenje samo u Europi i SAD-u a ne i u tim zemljama bilo kontraproduktivno", rekao je.

Čelnici osam najbogatijih zemalja svijeta u srijedu na summitu u talijanskom gradu L'Aquili su pojačali pritisak na Kinu i Indiju kako bi se zasutavilo globalno zagrijavanje.

Prvog dana svog godišnjeg skupa čelnici zemalja skupine G8 odgovorili su na upozorenja znanstvenika i složili su se da globalna temperatura ne bi smjela porasti za više od dva Celzijeva stupnja.

"Mi znamo da su znanstvenici u pravu", rekla je njemačka kancelarka Angela Merkel koja je i sama bila znanstvenica prije no što je postala političarka.

Nakon što je prošle godine sličan sporazum blokirao bivši predsjednik SAD-a George Bush njegov se nasljednik Barack Obama pokazao ključnim u u postizanju konsenzusa u L'Aquili.

Čelnici G8 su dogovorili da industrijalizirane zemlje svoju emisiju stakleničkih plinova do 2050. godine smanje za 80 posto što je dio globalnog cilja smanjenja takvih plinova za 50 posto od strane svih nacija, bogatih i siromašnih.

"Europa i Sjedinjene Države čvrsto su za smanjenje emisije ugljičnog dioksida", rekao je domaćin skupa Silvio Berlusconi.

"Morat ćemo pregovarati no važno je ujediniti se s Indijom i Kinom jer bi smanjenje samo u Europi i SAD-u a ne i u tim zemljama bilo kontraproduktivno", rekao je.
