Talijanski premijer Silvio Berlusconi ponosno je objavio da je Aquila potpuno spremna i “ušminkana” za samit G8 koji će se tamo održati od 8. do 10. srpnja. Grad koji je u travnju potres gotovo sravnio sa zemljom bit će domaćin čak 39-rici svjetskih delegacija, što je najveći broj delegacija koji je samit G8 okupio ikada dosad.

Samo tri mjeseca nakon potresa izgradila se nova zračna luka pokraj Aquile, Preturo, u koju će slijetati zrakoplovi svjetskih lidera. Više od 22 tisuće građana koji još stanuju u šatorima bijesno je zbog činjenice da se u tri mjeseca mogao izgraditi aerodrom i potpuno obnoviti vojarna financijske straže u Coppitu, u kojoj će šefovi država i vlada boraviti, a oni ne samo da stanuju u šatorima nego se u njima i liječe. Naime, Aquila bolnicu još uvijek nema. Na Berlusconija i talijansku vladu ljut je i prvi građanin Aquile Massimo Cialente.

- Naredili su nam da od 1. siječnja 2010. počnemo vraćati državi u ratama novac za neplaćene poreze i olakšice koje u ovom trenutku uživaju građani svih mjesta pogođenih potresom, mjesta od kojih većina više i ne postoji. Nevjerojatno.

U regiji Umbriji su građani, također stradalnici od potresa, državi počeli vraćati novac tek prije nekoliko mjeseci, odnosno točno 12 godina nakon potresa - ogorčen je Cialente. Berlusconi, pak, tvrdi da će neki od svjetskih lidera ponuditi konkretnu pomoć za obnovu Aquile, Onne, Paganice i ostalih srušenih gradića. Najavio je da će američkog predsjednika Baracka Obamu osobno opratiti u ckrvu Santa Maria della Concezione u Paganici, a njemačku kancelarku Angelu Merkel u ono što je ostalo od centra Onne.

- Talijani i stanovnici Abruzza trebali bi gledati naprijed i shvatiti što radim, odnosno da su moji potezi dalekosežni - kazao je Berlusconi.

Cijeli svijet mnogo očekuje od susreta predstavnika najmoćnijih zemalja svijeta, u trenutku u kojem se čini da gospodarska i ekonomska kriza ne popušta.

Čelnici će na sastanku razmijeniti mišljenja o unapređenju rasta svjetskoga gospodarstva, reagiranju na ekonomsku krizu, ostvarenju gospodarskog preporoda, klimatskim promjenama, međunarodnoj trgovini, sigurnosti energije i hrane i razvoju zemalja trećeg svijeta, s posebnim naglaskom na Crni kontinent.

Talijanski premijer Silvio Berlusconi ponosno je objavio da je Aquila potpuno spremna i “ušminkana” za samit G8 koji će se tamo održati od 8. do 10. srpnja. Grad koji je u travnju potres gotovo sravnio sa zemljom bit će domaćin čak 39-rici svjetskih delegacija, što je najveći broj delegacija koji je samit G8 okupio ikada dosad.

Samo tri mjeseca nakon potresa izgradila se nova zračna luka pokraj Aquile, Preturo, u koju će slijetati zrakoplovi svjetskih lidera. Više od 22 tisuće građana koji još stanuju u šatorima bijesno je zbog činjenice da se u tri mjeseca mogao izgraditi aerodrom i potpuno obnoviti vojarna financijske straže u Coppitu, u kojoj će šefovi država i vlada boraviti, a oni ne samo da stanuju u šatorima nego se u njima i liječe. Naime, Aquila bolnicu još uvijek nema. Na Berlusconija i talijansku vladu ljut je i prvi građanin Aquile Massimo Cialente.

- Naredili su nam da od 1. siječnja 2010. počnemo vraćati državi u ratama novac za neplaćene poreze i olakšice koje u ovom trenutku uživaju građani svih mjesta pogođenih potresom, mjesta od kojih većina više i ne postoji. Nevjerojatno.

U regiji Umbriji su građani, također stradalnici od potresa, državi počeli vraćati novac tek prije nekoliko mjeseci, odnosno točno 12 godina nakon potresa - ogorčen je Cialente. Berlusconi, pak, tvrdi da će neki od svjetskih lidera ponuditi konkretnu pomoć za obnovu Aquile, Onne, Paganice i ostalih srušenih gradića. Najavio je da će američkog predsjednika Baracka Obamu osobno opratiti u ckrvu Santa Maria della Concezione u Paganici, a njemačku kancelarku Angelu Merkel u ono što je ostalo od centra Onne.

- Talijani i stanovnici Abruzza trebali bi gledati naprijed i shvatiti što radim, odnosno da su moji potezi dalekosežni - kazao je Berlusconi.

Cijeli svijet mnogo očekuje od susreta predstavnika najmoćnijih zemalja svijeta, u trenutku u kojem se čini da gospodarska i ekonomska kriza ne popušta.

Čelnici će na sastanku razmijeniti mišljenja o unapređenju rasta svjetskoga gospodarstva, reagiranju na ekonomsku krizu, ostvarenju gospodarskog preporoda, klimatskim promjenama, međunarodnoj trgovini, sigurnosti energije i hrane i razvoju zemalja trećeg svijeta, s posebnim naglaskom na Crni kontinent.

Ni Vatikan krizu ne ignorira

Nadajmo se da se lideri neće baviti samo praznim obećanjima, jer je došlo vrijeme da se pronađu konkretna rješenja. Pješčani sat istječe”, upozorava vatikansko službeno glasilo “Osservatore Romano”, koje nikada s ovakvim zanimanjem nije pratilo pripreme za G8.

Samo dan prije početka samita, 7. srpnja papa Benedikt XVI. objavit ce treću encikliku koja se bavi problemima globalne ekonomije. Krizu više ni Sveta Stolica ne može ignorirati.
