Vojvoda od Sussexa, princ Harry i njegova supruga, vojvotkinja Meghan Markle, povlače se s aktivnih dužnosti u sklopu britanske kraljevske obitelji, te će svoje vrijeme podijeliti između Kanade i Velike Britanije, piše BBC. Dobro upućeni tabloid The Sun doznaje da će se par de facto preseliti u Kanadu.

Kraljevski par je u kratkoj izjavi koju je objavila Buckinghamska palača rekao i da za sebe žele stvoriti progresivnu novu ulogu unutar institucije, a dodali su i da žele postati financijski neovisni.

Da su Harry i Meghan duže vrijeme kovali planove koji su išli u smjeru ove odluke, naznačili su još u listopadu prošle godine kada su otvoreno progovorili o tome koliki im problem predstavlja život pod konstantnom lupom medija.

U svojoj izjavi, koju su objavili i na Instagramu, kraljevski je par rekao da su do ove odluke došli nakon "više mjeseci razmišljanja i raspravljanja". Iako se povlače s aktivnih dužnosti, jasno su rekli da će i dalje u svemu podupirati kraljicu.

Što se tiče djelomične selidbe u Kanadu, par je svoju odluku objasnio ovako:

  - Geografska ravnoteža između Kanade i Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva omogućit će nam da sina odgojimo tako da cijeni kraljevsku tradiciju unutar koje je rođen, a da istovremeno imamo dovoljno prostora da se koncentriramo na iduće poglavlje u našoj obitelji, uključujući pokretanje nove dobrotvorne udruge - napisali su.

Vojvoda od Sussexa, princ Harry i njegova supruga, vojvotkinja Meghan Markle, povlače se s aktivnih dužnosti u sklopu britanske kraljevske obitelji, te će svoje vrijeme podijeliti između Kanade i Velike Britanije, piše BBC. Dobro upućeni tabloid The Sun doznaje da će se par de facto preseliti u Kanadu.

Kraljevski par je u kratkoj izjavi koju je objavila Buckinghamska palača rekao i da za sebe žele stvoriti progresivnu novu ulogu unutar institucije, a dodali su i da žele postati financijski neovisni.

Da su Harry i Meghan duže vrijeme kovali planove koji su išli u smjeru ove odluke, naznačili su još u listopadu prošle godine kada su otvoreno progovorili o tome koliki im problem predstavlja život pod konstantnom lupom medija.

U svojoj izjavi, koju su objavili i na Instagramu, kraljevski je par rekao da su do ove odluke došli nakon "više mjeseci razmišljanja i raspravljanja". Iako se povlače s aktivnih dužnosti, jasno su rekli da će i dalje u svemu podupirati kraljicu.

Što se tiče djelomične selidbe u Kanadu, par je svoju odluku objasnio ovako:

  - Geografska ravnoteža između Kanade i Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva omogućit će nam da sina odgojimo tako da cijeni kraljevsku tradiciju unutar koje je rođen, a da istovremeno imamo dovoljno prostora da se koncentriramo na iduće poglavlje u našoj obitelji, uključujući pokretanje nove dobrotvorne udruge - napisali su.
