Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) objavit će u utorak poslijepodne svoje mišljenje o cjepivu Johnson & Johnsona protiv covida-19, čija je uporaba obustavljena u Sjedinjenim Državama i Europi zbog rijetke pojave krvnih ugrušaka.

EMA sa sjedištem u Amsterdamu priopćila je u petak da će 20. travnja u 16 sati po srednjoeuropskom vremenu organizirati "virtualnu tiskovnu konferenciju o zaključcima evaluacije sigurnosti" tog cjepiva.

Ova je odluka važna jer nekoliko europskih zemalja, među kojima Francuska, računa na to cjepivo kako bi ubrzale kampanju cijepljenja.

Neizvjesnost traje otkako su američke zdravstvene vlasti prije tjedan dana preporučile "stanku" u korištenju cjepiva Johnson & Johnsona kako bi se istražila pojava ozbiljnih slučajeva krvnih ugrušaka kod nekoliko ljudi u Sjedinjenim Državama.

Američka farmaceutska grupa Johnson & Johnson ubrzo je objavila da je "donijela odluku o odgađanju primjene" svog cjepiva protiv covida-19 u Europi nakon preporuke o privremenom prekidu njegove uporabe u Sjedinjenim Državama.

Jedna osoba je umrla u SAD-u nakon primanja cjepiva, objavio je u utorak dužnosnik Američke agencije za hranu i lijekove (FDA). 

Kod šest osoba u SAD-u razvio se rijetki poremećaj, koji uključuje krvne ugruške.

Svih šestero cijepljenih s nuspojavama su žene stare između 18 i 48 godina, a simptomi su se pojavili šest do 13 dana nakon cijepljenja.

U svim slučajevima je došlo do cerebralne venske sinusne tromboze (CVST) i trombocitopenije (manjak krvnih pločica - trombocita).

CDC i FDA naveli su kako je takav ishod nakon cijepljenja ekstremno rijedak.

Medicinski savjetnik Bijele kuće Antony Fauci izjavio je u nedjelju da bi se cjepivo Johnson & Johnsona trebalo  ponovno koristiti, možda uz "restrikcije", te da bi odluka trebala biti objavljena do petka.

"Mislim da će se cijepljenje nastaviti, možda uz restrikcije. Nisam siguran što će to biti, hoće li biti povezane s dobi ili spolom ili će jednostavno biti popraćeno s upozorenjem", rekao je.

Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) objavit će u utorak poslijepodne svoje mišljenje o cjepivu Johnson & Johnsona protiv covida-19, čija je uporaba obustavljena u Sjedinjenim Državama i Europi zbog rijetke pojave krvnih ugrušaka.

EMA sa sjedištem u Amsterdamu priopćila je u petak da će 20. travnja u 16 sati po srednjoeuropskom vremenu organizirati "virtualnu tiskovnu konferenciju o zaključcima evaluacije sigurnosti" tog cjepiva.

Ova je odluka važna jer nekoliko europskih zemalja, među kojima Francuska, računa na to cjepivo kako bi ubrzale kampanju cijepljenja.

Neizvjesnost traje otkako su američke zdravstvene vlasti prije tjedan dana preporučile "stanku" u korištenju cjepiva Johnson & Johnsona kako bi se istražila pojava ozbiljnih slučajeva krvnih ugrušaka kod nekoliko ljudi u Sjedinjenim Državama.

Američka farmaceutska grupa Johnson & Johnson ubrzo je objavila da je "donijela odluku o odgađanju primjene" svog cjepiva protiv covida-19 u Europi nakon preporuke o privremenom prekidu njegove uporabe u Sjedinjenim Državama.

Jedna osoba je umrla u SAD-u nakon primanja cjepiva, objavio je u utorak dužnosnik Američke agencije za hranu i lijekove (FDA). 

Kod šest osoba u SAD-u razvio se rijetki poremećaj, koji uključuje krvne ugruške.

Svih šestero cijepljenih s nuspojavama su žene stare između 18 i 48 godina, a simptomi su se pojavili šest do 13 dana nakon cijepljenja.

U svim slučajevima je došlo do cerebralne venske sinusne tromboze (CVST) i trombocitopenije (manjak krvnih pločica - trombocita).

CDC i FDA naveli su kako je takav ishod nakon cijepljenja ekstremno rijedak.

Medicinski savjetnik Bijele kuće Antony Fauci izjavio je u nedjelju da bi se cjepivo Johnson & Johnsona trebalo  ponovno koristiti, možda uz "restrikcije", te da bi odluka trebala biti objavljena do petka.

"Mislim da će se cijepljenje nastaviti, možda uz restrikcije. Nisam siguran što će to biti, hoće li biti povezane s dobi ili spolom ili će jednostavno biti popraćeno s upozorenjem", rekao je.

EMA danas objavljuje mišljenje o cjepivu Johnson & Johnsona: niz zemalja računa na tu vakcinu kako bi ubrzale kampanju cijepljenja

Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) objavit će u utorak poslijepodne svoje mišljenje o cjepivu Johnson & Johnsona protiv covida-19, čija je uporaba obustavljena u Sjedinjenim Državama i Europi zbog rijetke pojave krvnih ugrušaka.

EMA sa sjedištem u Amsterdamu priopćila je u petak da će 20. travnja u 16 sati po srednjoeuropskom vremenu organizirati "virtualnu tiskovnu konferenciju o zaključcima evaluacije sigurnosti" tog cjepiva.

Ova je odluka važna jer nekoliko europskih zemalja, među kojima Francuska, računa na to cjepivo kako bi ubrzale kampanju cijepljenja.
