Egipatsko ministarstvo za starine priopćilo je da uspostavlja odbor za reviziju restauracije Mikerinove piramide u Gizi nakon negodovanja javnosti zbog projekta.

Prije tjedan dana voditelj Egipatskog vrhovnog vijeća za starine Mostafa Waziri objavio je video na Facebooku koji prikazuje radnike kako postavljaju blokove granita na podnožje najniže od tri piramide u Gizi. Snimka je izazvala buru kritika egiptologa koji su izrazili bojazan da je u tijeku sveobuhvatna rekonstrukcija slavnog spomenika, nauštrb očuvanja njegova povijesnog tkiva.

Pokušavajući smiriti raspravu, u zemlji u kojoj turizam čini 10 posto BDP-a, ministarstvo je objavilo da je osnovalo "znanstveni odbor kojim predsjeda... Zahi Hawass", poznati egipatski arheolog, kako bi analizirao projekt obnove. Odbor se sastoji od "stručnjaka za inženjerstvo i arheologiju" iz Češke, Njemačke i Sjedinjenih Država, kao i iz Egipta.

Konačno izvješće odbora uključivat će "potrebne postupke i korake za koordinaciju s (UN-ovom agencijom za baštinu) UNESCO". "Donijet će se odluka hoće li se projekt nastaviti ili ne", kažu u ministarstvu.

U podnožju te piramide, izvijestili su novinari AFP-a, radovi su već bili u tijeku prošli tjedan. U izvornom obliku baza piramide je bila prekrivena granitom, ali je s vremenom izgubljen dio te obloge. Obnova ima za cilj vratiti izvorni stil građevine rekonstrukcijom granitne baze.

Pitanje očuvanja baštine u Egiptu često je u središtu žestokih rasprava. Nedavno rušenje dijelova povijesne jezgre Kaira izazvalo je javne kampanje protiv toga, što je rijetkost u zemlji u kojoj je politička opozicija uglavnom zabranjena.

Egipatsko ministarstvo za starine priopćilo je da uspostavlja odbor za reviziju restauracije Mikerinove piramide u Gizi nakon negodovanja javnosti zbog projekta.

Prije tjedan dana voditelj Egipatskog vrhovnog vijeća za starine Mostafa Waziri objavio je video na Facebooku koji prikazuje radnike kako postavljaju blokove granita na podnožje najniže od tri piramide u Gizi. Snimka je izazvala buru kritika egiptologa koji su izrazili bojazan da je u tijeku sveobuhvatna rekonstrukcija slavnog spomenika, nauštrb očuvanja njegova povijesnog tkiva.

Pokušavajući smiriti raspravu, u zemlji u kojoj turizam čini 10 posto BDP-a, ministarstvo je objavilo da je osnovalo "znanstveni odbor kojim predsjeda... Zahi Hawass", poznati egipatski arheolog, kako bi analizirao projekt obnove. Odbor se sastoji od "stručnjaka za inženjerstvo i arheologiju" iz Češke, Njemačke i Sjedinjenih Država, kao i iz Egipta.

Konačno izvješće odbora uključivat će "potrebne postupke i korake za koordinaciju s (UN-ovom agencijom za baštinu) UNESCO". "Donijet će se odluka hoće li se projekt nastaviti ili ne", kažu u ministarstvu.

U podnožju te piramide, izvijestili su novinari AFP-a, radovi su već bili u tijeku prošli tjedan. U izvornom obliku baza piramide je bila prekrivena granitom, ali je s vremenom izgubljen dio te obloge. Obnova ima za cilj vratiti izvorni stil građevine rekonstrukcijom granitne baze.

Pitanje očuvanja baštine u Egiptu često je u središtu žestokih rasprava. Nedavno rušenje dijelova povijesne jezgre Kaira izazvalo je javne kampanje protiv toga, što je rijetkost u zemlji u kojoj je politička opozicija uglavnom zabranjena.

Egipat krenuo ‘preuređivati‘ piramidu u Gizi, kako bi joj vratili antički štih. Javnost i stručnjaci sablažnjeni

Egipatsko ministarstvo za starine priopćilo je da uspostavlja odbor za reviziju restauracije Mikerinove piramide u Gizi nakon negodovanja javnosti zbog projekta.

Prije tjedan dana voditelj Egipatskog vrhovnog vijeća za starine Mostafa Waziri objavio je video na Facebooku koji prikazuje radnike kako postavljaju blokove granita na podnožje najniže od tri piramide u Gizi. Snimka je izazvala buru kritika egiptologa koji su izrazili bojazan da je u tijeku sveobuhvatna rekonstrukcija slavnog spomenika, nauštrb očuvanja njegova povijesnog tkiva.

Pokušavajući smiriti raspravu, u zemlji u kojoj turizam čini 10 posto BDP-a, ministarstvo je objavilo da je osnovalo "znanstveni odbor kojim predsjeda... Zahi Hawass", poznati egipatski arheolog, kako bi analizirao projekt obnove. Odbor se sastoji od "stručnjaka za inženjerstvo i arheologiju" iz Češke, Njemačke i Sjedinjenih Država, kao i iz Egipta.

Konačno izvješće odbora uključivat će "potrebne postupke i korake za koordinaciju s (UN-ovom agencijom za baštinu) UNESCO". "Donijet će se odluka hoće li se projekt nastaviti ili ne", kažu u ministarstvu.

U podnožju te piramide, izvijestili su novinari AFP-a, radovi su već bili u tijeku prošli tjedan. U izvornom obliku baza piramide je bila prekrivena granitom, ali je s vremenom izgubljen dio te obloge. Obnova ima za cilj vratiti izvorni stil građevine rekonstrukcijom granitne baze.

Pitanje očuvanja baštine u Egiptu često je u središtu žestokih rasprava. Nedavno rušenje dijelova povijesne jezgre Kaira izazvalo je javne kampanje protiv toga, što je rijetkost u zemlji u kojoj je politička opozicija uglavnom zabranjena.
