Devetero ljudi izgubilo je život u četvrtak u Senegalu u sukobu policije i pristaša oporbenog vođe Ousmane Sonko, nakon što je osuđen na dvije godine zatvora zbog čega je dovedena u pitanje njegova kandidatura za predsjednika.

Sonko (48) nije nazočio objavi presude kojom je osuđen zbog navodnog seksualnog napada. Oko njegove kuće u Dakaru raspoređeni su policajci i po riječima ministra pravosuđa može u bilo kojem trenutku biti odveden u zatvor.

Neredi diljem glavnog grada i drugdje izbili su nakon objave presude.

Vođa oporbe bio je optužen za silovanje žene koja je radila u salonu za masažu i prijetnje smrću. Kazneni sud oslobodio ga je tih optužbe, ali ga je proglasio krivim zbog nemoralnog ponašanja prema osobi mlađoj od 20 godina.

"Zbog te rečenice Sonko ne može biti kandidat", rekao je jedan od njegovih odvjetnika, ukazujući na senegalski izborni zakon.
Sonko odbacuje optužbe, tvrdeći da su politički motivirane, a njegova politička stranka PASTEF pozvala je građane da izađu na ulice.

Devetoro ljudi ubijeno je tijekom prosvjeda koji su nakon objave presude izbili u Dakru i drugim gradovima, rekao je u petak rano ujutro ministar unutarnjih poslova Antoine Felix Abdoulaye Diome.

Prosvjednici su u sveučilišnom kampusu zapalili nekoliko autobusa i bacali kamenje na policiju koja je uzvratila suzavcem.

Glasnogovornik vlade Abdou Karim Fofana rekao je da je stanje u glavnom gradu pod nadzorom.

Devetero ljudi izgubilo je život u četvrtak u Senegalu u sukobu policije i pristaša oporbenog vođe Ousmane Sonko, nakon što je osuđen na dvije godine zatvora zbog čega je dovedena u pitanje njegova kandidatura za predsjednika.

Sonko (48) nije nazočio objavi presude kojom je osuđen zbog navodnog seksualnog napada. Oko njegove kuće u Dakaru raspoređeni su policajci i po riječima ministra pravosuđa može u bilo kojem trenutku biti odveden u zatvor.

Neredi diljem glavnog grada i drugdje izbili su nakon objave presude.

Vođa oporbe bio je optužen za silovanje žene koja je radila u salonu za masažu i prijetnje smrću. Kazneni sud oslobodio ga je tih optužbe, ali ga je proglasio krivim zbog nemoralnog ponašanja prema osobi mlađoj od 20 godina.

"Zbog te rečenice Sonko ne može biti kandidat", rekao je jedan od njegovih odvjetnika, ukazujući na senegalski izborni zakon.
Sonko odbacuje optužbe, tvrdeći da su politički motivirane, a njegova politička stranka PASTEF pozvala je građane da izađu na ulice.

Devetoro ljudi ubijeno je tijekom prosvjeda koji su nakon objave presude izbili u Dakru i drugim gradovima, rekao je u petak rano ujutro ministar unutarnjih poslova Antoine Felix Abdoulaye Diome.

Prosvjednici su u sveučilišnom kampusu zapalili nekoliko autobusa i bacali kamenje na policiju koja je uzvratila suzavcem.

Glasnogovornik vlade Abdou Karim Fofana rekao je da je stanje u glavnom gradu pod nadzorom.

Devetoro mrtvih u prosvjedima nakon objave presude senegalskom vođi oporbe zbog navodnog seksualnog napada

Devetero ljudi izgubilo je život u četvrtak u Senegalu u sukobu policije i pristaša oporbenog vođe Ousmane Sonko, nakon što je osuđen na dvije godine zatvora zbog čega je dovedena u pitanje njegova kandidatura za predsjednika.

Sonko (48) nije nazočio objavi presude kojom je osuđen zbog navodnog seksualnog napada. Oko njegove kuće u Dakaru raspoređeni su policajci i po riječima ministra pravosuđa može u bilo kojem trenutku biti odveden u zatvor.

Neredi diljem glavnog grada i drugdje izbili su nakon objave presude.

Vođa oporbe bio je optužen za silovanje žene koja je radila u salonu za masažu i prijetnje smrću. Kazneni sud oslobodio ga je tih optužbe, ali ga je proglasio krivim zbog nemoralnog ponašanja prema osobi mlađoj od 20 godina.

"Zbog te rečenice Sonko ne može biti kandidat", rekao je jedan od njegovih odvjetnika, ukazujući na senegalski izborni zakon.
Sonko odbacuje optužbe, tvrdeći da su politički motivirane, a njegova politička stranka PASTEF pozvala je građane da izađu na ulice.

Devetoro ljudi ubijeno je tijekom prosvjeda koji su nakon objave presude izbili u Dakru i drugim gradovima, rekao je u petak rano ujutro ministar unutarnjih poslova Antoine Felix Abdoulaye Diome.

Prosvjednici su u sveučilišnom kampusu zapalili nekoliko autobusa i bacali kamenje na policiju koja je uzvratila suzavcem.

Glasnogovornik vlade Abdou Karim Fofana rekao je da je stanje u glavnom gradu pod nadzorom.
