Zastupnici desnih grupa u Europskom parlamentu upozorili su u srijedu da su poljoprivrednici i domaće životinje u sve većoj opasnosti od vukova, a eurozastupnici predvođeni Zelenima prozvali su ih za novi pokušaj sabotiranja obnove ekosustava. 

Rasprava o preispitivanju statusa zaštite vukova i ostalih velikih zvijeri u EU-u izazvala je novu podjelu među eurozastupnicima. 

Europska povjerenica za financijske usluge, financijsku stabilnost i uniju tržišta Mairead McGuinness rekla je u srijedu eurozastupnicima na plenarnoj sjednici u Strasbourgu da razumije zabrinutosti suprotstavljenih strana i pozvala se na jutrošnje obraćanje predsjednice EK Ursule von der Leyen koja je rekla da "poljoprivreda i zaštita prirode mogu ići ruku pod ruku". 

Broj vukova u Europskoj uniji trenutačno se procjenjuje na oko 19.000.  Europska komisija pozvala je početkom rujna lokalne zajednice, znanstvenike i sve zainteresirane strane da do 22. rujna dostave ažurirane podatke o populaciji vukova. 

Nakon što prikupi podatke, Komisija će odlučiti o prijedlogu izmjene, prema potrebi, statusa zaštite vuka u EU-u. To je odgovor Komisije na rezoluciju Europskog parlamenta iz studenog prošle godine.

"Trebamo djelovati na temelju potpunih podataka, a ne nekakvih fragmentiranih informacija i nakon toga donijeti odluku hoće li se smanjivati zaštita vučje populacije ili će se možda dozvoliti njihov odstrel", rekla je hrvatska eurozastupnica Sunčana Glavak (EPP/HDZ) Hini. 

Podaci ministarstva gospodarstva i održivog razvoja pokazuju da su vukovi u posljednje četiri godine samo u Hrvatskoj usmrtili gotovo 11.000 domaćih životinja, a ozlijedili gotovo 1500, upozorila je Glavak. 

Ona smatra da će biti potrebno pronaći "pravedan pristup" koje će zaštititi poljoprivrednike i domaće životinje, ali pritom imati na umu važnost vukova za očuvanje ekosustava.  Zastupnica Zelenih i zamjenska članica odbora ENVI i AGRI Anna Deparnay-Grunenberg prozvala je konzervativce za plasiranje "lažnih vijesti kako bi spriječili očuvanje prirode".

"Najstrože zaštićen vuk i nezaštićena ovca - to nije dobra ravnoteža", rekao je na raspravi pučanin Herbert Dorfmann, dok je Roza Thun Und Hohenstein, eurozastupnica iz redova liberala, rekla da su argumenti za ubijanje vukova "politička propaganda" te da "u većini država članica nije još dosegnuta zadovoljavajuća razina oporavka velikih zvijeri". 

U rujnu prošle godine, predsjednici Europske komisije Ursuli von der Leyen vuk je upao na imanje njezine obitelji u Donjoj Saskoj i ubio jednog od njezinih konja, ponija Dolly. 

Zastupnica Marie Dauchy iz kluba zastupnika Identitet i demokracija smatra da je upravo taj događaj stavio ovu temu na dnevni red i dodala da "unatoč električnim ogradama i pastirskim psima dolazi do napada vukova".

Zastupnici desnih grupa u Europskom parlamentu upozorili su u srijedu da su poljoprivrednici i domaće životinje u sve većoj opasnosti od vukova, a eurozastupnici predvođeni Zelenima prozvali su ih za novi pokušaj sabotiranja obnove ekosustava. 

Rasprava o preispitivanju statusa zaštite vukova i ostalih velikih zvijeri u EU-u izazvala je novu podjelu među eurozastupnicima. 

Europska povjerenica za financijske usluge, financijsku stabilnost i uniju tržišta Mairead McGuinness rekla je u srijedu eurozastupnicima na plenarnoj sjednici u Strasbourgu da razumije zabrinutosti suprotstavljenih strana i pozvala se na jutrošnje obraćanje predsjednice EK Ursule von der Leyen koja je rekla da "poljoprivreda i zaštita prirode mogu ići ruku pod ruku". 

Broj vukova u Europskoj uniji trenutačno se procjenjuje na oko 19.000.  Europska komisija pozvala je početkom rujna lokalne zajednice, znanstvenike i sve zainteresirane strane da do 22. rujna dostave ažurirane podatke o populaciji vukova. 

Nakon što prikupi podatke, Komisija će odlučiti o prijedlogu izmjene, prema potrebi, statusa zaštite vuka u EU-u. To je odgovor Komisije na rezoluciju Europskog parlamenta iz studenog prošle godine.

"Trebamo djelovati na temelju potpunih podataka, a ne nekakvih fragmentiranih informacija i nakon toga donijeti odluku hoće li se smanjivati zaštita vučje populacije ili će se možda dozvoliti njihov odstrel", rekla je hrvatska eurozastupnica Sunčana Glavak (EPP/HDZ) Hini. 

Podaci ministarstva gospodarstva i održivog razvoja pokazuju da su vukovi u posljednje četiri godine samo u Hrvatskoj usmrtili gotovo 11.000 domaćih životinja, a ozlijedili gotovo 1500, upozorila je Glavak. 

Ona smatra da će biti potrebno pronaći "pravedan pristup" koje će zaštititi poljoprivrednike i domaće životinje, ali pritom imati na umu važnost vukova za očuvanje ekosustava.  Zastupnica Zelenih i zamjenska članica odbora ENVI i AGRI Anna Deparnay-Grunenberg prozvala je konzervativce za plasiranje "lažnih vijesti kako bi spriječili očuvanje prirode".

"Najstrože zaštićen vuk i nezaštićena ovca - to nije dobra ravnoteža", rekao je na raspravi pučanin Herbert Dorfmann, dok je Roza Thun Und Hohenstein, eurozastupnica iz redova liberala, rekla da su argumenti za ubijanje vukova "politička propaganda" te da "u većini država članica nije još dosegnuta zadovoljavajuća razina oporavka velikih zvijeri". 

U rujnu prošle godine, predsjednici Europske komisije Ursuli von der Leyen vuk je upao na imanje njezine obitelji u Donjoj Saskoj i ubio jednog od njezinih konja, ponija Dolly. 

Zastupnica Marie Dauchy iz kluba zastupnika Identitet i demokracija smatra da je upravo taj događaj stavio ovu temu na dnevni red i dodala da "unatoč električnim ogradama i pastirskim psima dolazi do napada vukova".

Zastupnici desnih grupa u Europskom parlamentu upozorili su u srijedu da su poljoprivrednici i domaće životinje u sve većoj opasnosti od vukova, a eurozastupnici predvođeni Zelenima prozvali su ih za novi pokušaj sabotiranja obnove ekosustava. 

Rasprava o preispitivanju statusa zaštite vukova i ostalih velikih zvijeri u EU-u izazvala je novu podjelu među eurozastupnicima. 

Europska povjerenica za financijske usluge, financijsku stabilnost i uniju tržišta Mairead McGuinness rekla je u srijedu eurozastupnicima na plenarnoj sjednici u Strasbourgu da razumije zabrinutosti suprotstavljenih strana i pozvala se na jutrošnje obraćanje predsjednice EK Ursule von der Leyen koja je rekla da "poljoprivreda i zaštita prirode mogu ići ruku pod ruku". 

Broj vukova u Europskoj uniji trenutačno se procjenjuje na oko 19.000.  Europska komisija pozvala je početkom rujna lokalne zajednice, znanstvenike i sve zainteresirane strane da do 22. rujna dostave ažurirane podatke o populaciji vukova. 

Nakon što prikupi podatke, Komisija će odlučiti o prijedlogu izmjene, prema potrebi, statusa zaštite vuka u EU-u. To je odgovor Komisije na rezoluciju Europskog parlamenta iz studenog prošle godine.

"Trebamo djelovati na temelju potpunih podataka, a ne nekakvih fragmentiranih informacija i nakon toga donijeti odluku hoće li se smanjivati zaštita vučje populacije ili će se možda dozvoliti njihov odstrel", rekla je hrvatska eurozastupnica Sunčana Glavak (EPP/HDZ) Hini.
