Točno tjedan dana prije obljetnice ovih događaja, koji su obilježili početak novog stoljeća, američki Federalni istražni biro (FBI) i Ministarstvo unutarnje sigurnosti upozorili su na mogući ponovni teroristički napad.

Iako nemaju nikakvu konkretnu informaciju o terorističkoj prijetnji, ova dva ureda, kako su priopćili, iz preventivnih razloga pojačat će mjere sigurnosti.

Teroristička Al-Qa’ida, koja je stajala iza napada 11.9.2001., nastoji naći način kako za napad iskoristiti američke letjelice. Kako tvrde ovi uredi, teroristi pokušavaju s varijantom iznajmljivanja manjih letjelica koje bi napunili eksplozivima.

Instruktori letenja

- Al-Qa’ida i njezini ogranci i dalje su zainteresirani za obučavanje u pilotiranju, posebno manjim letjelicima - navodi se u zajedničkim materijalima dvaju ureda.

Teroristička mreža se, također, trudi iskoristiti svoje simpatizere u zapadnim zemljama koji bi mogli postati instruktori letenja članovima Al-Qa’ide.

Sigurnost letenja je sada bez sumnje na višoj razini nego prije deset godina kada su teroristi iskoristili otete zrakoplove za napade na nebodere Svjetskoga trgovačkog centra (WTC).

No, i dalje Al-Qa’ida ne računa s mogućnošću napada na zrakoplove nego njihovo korištenje za napade, jer bi takav atentat izazvao vjerojatno mnogo žrtava, napunio naslovne stranice novina i zastrašio svijet.

Teroristička prijetnja s korištenjem malih zrakoplova nije ništa novo. Već ubrzo poslije 11.9.2001. američka vlada je iz opreznosti zabranila letenje tisućama malih letjelica jer se bojala da bi ih teroristi mogli iskoristiti za nove atentate.

Godine 2002. i 2003. američke službe su otkrile da je Al-Qa’ida namjeravala napasti malim letjelicama jednu veliku američku ratnu lađu u Perzijskom zaljevu, kao i američki konzulat u pakistanskom Karachiju.

Teroristička Al-Qa’ida, koja je stajala iza napada 11.9.2001., nastoji naći način kako za napad iskoristiti američke letjelice. Kako tvrde ovi uredi, teroristi pokušavaju s varijantom iznajmljivanja manjih letjelica koje bi napunili eksplozivima.

Instruktori letenja

- Al-Qa’ida i njezini ogranci i dalje su zainteresirani za obučavanje u pilotiranju, posebno manjim letjelicima - navodi se u zajedničkim materijalima dvaju ureda.

Teroristička mreža se, također, trudi iskoristiti svoje simpatizere u zapadnim zemljama koji bi mogli postati instruktori letenja članovima Al-Qa’ide.

Sigurnost letenja je sada bez sumnje na višoj razini nego prije deset godina kada su teroristi iskoristili otete zrakoplove za napade na nebodere Svjetskoga trgovačkog centra (WTC).

No, i dalje Al-Qa’ida ne računa s mogućnošću napada na zrakoplove nego njihovo korištenje za napade, jer bi takav atentat izazvao vjerojatno mnogo žrtava, napunio naslovne stranice novina i zastrašio svijet.

Teroristička prijetnja s korištenjem malih zrakoplova nije ništa novo. Već ubrzo poslije 11.9.2001. američka vlada je iz opreznosti zabranila letenje tisućama malih letjelica jer se bojala da bi ih teroristi mogli iskoristiti za nove atentate.

Godine 2002. i 2003. američke službe su otkrile da je Al-Qa’ida namjeravala napasti malim letjelicama jednu veliku američku ratnu lađu u Perzijskom zaljevu, kao i američki konzulat u pakistanskom Karachiju.
