Iza prijateljskog smiješka i afroameričkog lica predsjednika Baracka Obame kriju se zlokobne nakane Washingtona prema Latinskoj Americi, napisao je Fidel Castro u pismu koje otkriva novo zahlađenje kubansko-američkih odnosa poslije blagog zatopljenja.
Venezuelanskom predsjedniku Hugu Chavezu, koji je pismo pročitao u ponedjeljak, na summitu ljevice latinskoameričkih zemalja Castro je napisao da je američko "carstvo opet u ofenzivi" na regiju.
Fidel Castro (83), koji se prije nekoliko godina povukao iz javnosti zbog bolesti, pismima aktivno komentira svakodnevna zbivanja te je optužio Sjedinjene Države za vojni udar kojim je svrgnut ljevičarski predsjednik Hondurasa Manuel Zelaya.
Osudio je i sporazum SAD-a i Kolumbije kojim SAD-u ima pravo koristiti sedam kolumbijskih vojnih baza.
"To su očito stvarne nakane imperija, ovog puta pod prijateljskim smiješkom afroameričkog lica Baracka Obame", napisao je Castro.
Kad je Obama prisegnuo 2009., Castro je rekao da je novi predsjednik inteligentan, iskren, smiren, hrabar, pošten i dobronamjeran. Podržao je i odluku Nobelova odbora da upravo Obami dodijeli godišnju nagradu za mir.
No mišljenje je kubanski revolucionarni vođa promijenio i ocijenio da je "ciničan čin" to što je Obama prošlog tjedna prihvatio Nobelovu nagradu, a prethodno je odlučio poslati 30.000 novih američkih vojnika u Afganistan.
Castrovo pismo Chavezu govori da je pomirenje kubanskog komunističkog otoka s velikim susjedom opet daleko, iako se u proljeće led između njih počeo otapati.
Washington je nedavno osudio napad na kubansku blogericu Yoani Sanchez te uhićenje američkog poslovnog čovjeka na Kubi i kubanske vojne vježbe, a ugledni pripadnici afroameričke zajednice u SAD-u kritizirali su rasizam na Kubi, što je u toj zemlji vrlo osjetljivo pitanje.
Teza da Washington opet intervenira u politiku na latinskoameričkom kontinentu, u državama s ljevicom na vlasti, dominirala je dvodnevnim sastankom na vrhu ALBA-e (Bolivarova alternativa za Amerike, prema Simonu Bolivaru, legendarnom vođi za neovisnost).
ALBA je regionalna trgovinska organizacija koju je utemeljio Chavez kao protutežu konzorcijima slobodne trgovine Sjedinjenih Država.

Iza prijateljskog smiješka i afroameričkog lica predsjednika Baracka Obame kriju se zlokobne nakane Washingtona prema Latinskoj Americi, napisao je Fidel Castro u pismu koje otkriva novo zahlađenje kubansko-američkih odnosa poslije blagog zatopljenja.
Venezuelanskom predsjedniku Hugu Chavezu, koji je pismo pročitao u ponedjeljak, na summitu ljevice latinskoameričkih zemalja Castro je napisao da je američko "carstvo opet u ofenzivi" na regiju.
Fidel Castro (83), koji se prije nekoliko godina povukao iz javnosti zbog bolesti, pismima aktivno komentira svakodnevna zbivanja te je optužio Sjedinjene Države za vojni udar kojim je svrgnut ljevičarski predsjednik Hondurasa Manuel Zelaya.
Osudio je i sporazum SAD-a i Kolumbije kojim SAD-u ima pravo koristiti sedam kolumbijskih vojnih baza.
"To su očito stvarne nakane imperija, ovog puta pod prijateljskim smiješkom afroameričkog lica Baracka Obame", napisao je Castro.
Kad je Obama prisegnuo 2009., Castro je rekao da je novi predsjednik inteligentan, iskren, smiren, hrabar, pošten i dobronamjeran. Podržao je i odluku Nobelova odbora da upravo Obami dodijeli godišnju nagradu za mir.
No mišljenje je kubanski revolucionarni vođa promijenio i ocijenio da je "ciničan čin" to što je Obama prošlog tjedna prihvatio Nobelovu nagradu, a prethodno je odlučio poslati 30.000 novih američkih vojnika u Afganistan.
Castrovo pismo Chavezu govori da je pomirenje kubanskog komunističkog otoka s velikim susjedom opet daleko, iako se u proljeće led između njih počeo otapati.
Washington je nedavno osudio napad na kubansku blogericu Yoani Sanchez te uhićenje američkog poslovnog čovjeka na Kubi i kubanske vojne vježbe, a ugledni pripadnici afroameričke zajednice u SAD-u kritizirali su rasizam na Kubi, što je u toj zemlji vrlo osjetljivo pitanje.
Teza da Washington opet intervenira u politiku na latinskoameričkom kontinentu, u državama s ljevicom na vlasti, dominirala je dvodnevnim sastankom na vrhu ALBA-e (Bolivarova alternativa za Amerike, prema Simonu Bolivaru, legendarnom vođi za neovisnost).
ALBA je regionalna trgovinska organizacija koju je utemeljio Chavez kao protutežu konzorcijima slobodne trgovine Sjedinjenih Država.
