Britanska vlada istražit će kako je snimka bivšeg ministra Matta Hancocka na kojoj ljubi pomoćnicu dospjela u medije i prisilila ga na ostavku, u najnovijem skandalu koji je pogodio vladu premijera Borisa Johnsona.

Nakon što je najprije odbio pozive za Hancockovom smjenom ili ostavkom na mjesto ministra zdravlja, kad je objavljena snimka na kojoj grli ženu koju je imenovao na dužnost financiranu od poreznih obveznika, Johnson je u subotu prihvatio njegovu odluku da odstupi.

Odlazak znači pritisak na Johnsonovu vladu, koja je kontrolirala jedan od najviših službenih brojeva umrlih od pandemije covida-19 i kritizirana zbog početnih postupaka u rješavanju krize - koje je vodio Hancock.

Izvješće BBC-a da je građanin na autobusnoj postaji pronašao osjetljive dokumente ministarstva obrane malo je pomoglo odagnati osjećaj kaosa u srcu vlade. Ministarstvo je priopćilo da istražuje incident.

Na pitanje je li ministarstvo zdravlja istraživalo kako je snimljen Hancock u svojem uredu u vladi, a zatim ta snimka procurila, ministar za Sjevernu Irsku Brandon Lewis rekao je za Sky News: "Znam da će se ministarstvo zdravstva pobrinuti da točno shvati kako je ta snimka ... izišla van".

Kasnije je za Times Radio rekao da vlada treba razmotriti dva pitanja - je li "prikladno" da je kamera u Hancockovu uredu i, ako je bila tamo iz sigurnosnih razloga, "kako je taj videozapis izašao u javni prostor".

"Nemoralno"

Pošto su slike objavljene u petak, mnogi su njegovi kolege konzervativni zastupnici privatno pozvali Hancocka da ode, rekavši da je njegova pozicija neodrživa nakon što je priznao da je u to vrijeme prekršio ograničenja protiv koronavirusa.

Johnson, koji se suočio s kritikama zbog raznih skandala, uključujući financiranje preuređenja svog stana u Downing Streetu, prvo je stao uz ministra zdravlja. Potom je prihvatio Hancockovu ostavku u subotu, ali sugerirao je da bi se mogao vratiti na višu javnu ulogu.

Glavna britanska oporbena Laburistička stranka pokrenula je niz pitanja o skandalu oko Hancocka, uključujući i to je li bivši ministar zdravstva prekršio vladina pravila.

"Kažu da riba truli od glave dolje", rekla je zamjenica čelnika rada Angela Rayner u nedjeljnoj izjavi u kojoj je pozvala na istragu.

"Smrad nemoralnosti koji se mota oko ove vlade dolazi sa samog vrha, a premijerovo potpuno nepoštivanje pravila i etike postavlja standarde za njegove ministre".

Sunday Times je, pozivajući se na dokumente, izvijestio da je Hancock suočen s istragom zbog navoda da je koristio svoj osobni e-mail za vođenje vladinih poslova, kršeći smjernice.

Glasnogovornik ministarstva zdravstva i socijalne skrbi (DHSC) rekao je: "Svi ministri DHSC-a razumiju pravila o korištenju osobne e-pošte i vladino poslovanje obavljaju samo putem svojih e-adresa ministarstva".

Novi ministar zdravstva Sajid Javid, kojeg je Johnson imenovao ubrzo nakon što je Hancock podnio ostavku, pohvalio je svog prethodnika jer je "nevjerojatno vrijedno radio" tijekom pandemije koronavirusa.

BBC-u je rekao da mu je čast preuzeti novu ulogu za koju je priznao da "dolazi s velikom odgovornošću".

"Još uvijek smo u pandemiji i želim da se to što prije završi i to će mi biti neposredni prioritet da se vratimo u normalu što prije i što je brže moguće", rekao je Javid, bivši ministar financija.

Britanska vlada istražit će kako je snimka bivšeg ministra Matta Hancocka na kojoj ljubi pomoćnicu dospjela u medije i prisilila ga na ostavku, u najnovijem skandalu koji je pogodio vladu premijera Borisa Johnsona.

Nakon što je najprije odbio pozive za Hancockovom smjenom ili ostavkom na mjesto ministra zdravlja, kad je objavljena snimka na kojoj grli ženu koju je imenovao na dužnost financiranu od poreznih obveznika, Johnson je u subotu prihvatio njegovu odluku da odstupi.

Odlazak znači pritisak na Johnsonovu vladu, koja je kontrolirala jedan od najviših službenih brojeva umrlih od pandemije covida-19 i kritizirana zbog početnih postupaka u rješavanju krize - koje je vodio Hancock.

Izvješće BBC-a da je građanin na autobusnoj postaji pronašao osjetljive dokumente ministarstva obrane malo je pomoglo odagnati osjećaj kaosa u srcu vlade. Ministarstvo je priopćilo da istražuje incident.

Na pitanje je li ministarstvo zdravlja istraživalo kako je snimljen Hancock u svojem uredu u vladi, a zatim ta snimka procurila, ministar za Sjevernu Irsku Brandon Lewis rekao je za Sky News: "Znam da će se ministarstvo zdravstva pobrinuti da točno shvati kako je ta snimka ... izišla van".

Kasnije je za Times Radio rekao da vlada treba razmotriti dva pitanja - je li "prikladno" da je kamera u Hancockovu uredu i, ako je bila tamo iz sigurnosnih razloga, "kako je taj videozapis izašao u javni prostor".

"Nemoralno"

Pošto su slike objavljene u petak, mnogi su njegovi kolege konzervativni zastupnici privatno pozvali Hancocka da ode, rekavši da je njegova pozicija neodrživa nakon što je priznao da je u to vrijeme prekršio ograničenja protiv koronavirusa.

Johnson, koji se suočio s kritikama zbog raznih skandala, uključujući financiranje preuređenja svog stana u Downing Streetu, prvo je stao uz ministra zdravlja. Potom je prihvatio Hancockovu ostavku u subotu, ali sugerirao je da bi se mogao vratiti na višu javnu ulogu.

Glavna britanska oporbena Laburistička stranka pokrenula je niz pitanja o skandalu oko Hancocka, uključujući i to je li bivši ministar zdravstva prekršio vladina pravila.

"Kažu da riba truli od glave dolje", rekla je zamjenica čelnika rada Angela Rayner u nedjeljnoj izjavi u kojoj je pozvala na istragu.

"Smrad nemoralnosti koji se mota oko ove vlade dolazi sa samog vrha, a premijerovo potpuno nepoštivanje pravila i etike postavlja standarde za njegove ministre".

Sunday Times je, pozivajući se na dokumente, izvijestio da je Hancock suočen s istragom zbog navoda da je koristio svoj osobni e-mail za vođenje vladinih poslova, kršeći smjernice.

Glasnogovornik ministarstva zdravstva i socijalne skrbi (DHSC) rekao je: "Svi ministri DHSC-a razumiju pravila o korištenju osobne e-pošte i vladino poslovanje obavljaju samo putem svojih e-adresa ministarstva".

Novi ministar zdravstva Sajid Javid, kojeg je Johnson imenovao ubrzo nakon što je Hancock podnio ostavku, pohvalio je svog prethodnika jer je "nevjerojatno vrijedno radio" tijekom pandemije koronavirusa.

BBC-u je rekao da mu je čast preuzeti novu ulogu za koju je priznao da "dolazi s velikom odgovornošću".

"Još uvijek smo u pandemiji i želim da se to što prije završi i to će mi biti neposredni prioritet da se vratimo u normalu što prije i što je brže moguće", rekao je Javid, bivši ministar financija.

Britanska vlada istražit će kako je snimka bivšeg ministra Matta Hancocka na kojoj ljubi pomoćnicu dospjela u medije i prisilila ga na ostavku, u najnovijem skandalu koji je pogodio vladu premijera Borisa Johnsona.

Nakon što je najprije odbio pozive za Hancockovom smjenom ili ostavkom na mjesto ministra zdravlja, kad je objavljena snimka na kojoj grli ženu koju je imenovao na dužnost financiranu od poreznih obveznika, Johnson je u subotu prihvatio njegovu odluku da odstupi.

Odlazak znači pritisak na Johnsonovu vladu, koja je kontrolirala jedan od najviših službenih brojeva umrlih od pandemije covida-19 i kritizirana zbog početnih postupaka u rješavanju krize - koje je vodio Hancock.
