Jedan je policajac lakše ranjen na sjeveru Kosova u napadu na ophodnju nakon raspoređivanja kosovskih policajaca albanske nacionalnosti potaknutog ostavkom srpskih pripadnika redarstvenih snaga, priopćila je u petak kosovska policija.

Odluka kosovske vlade o raspoređivanju policajaca na tom nestabilnom području u četvrtak navečer mogla bi dodatno pojačati napetost između Beograda i Prištine dok srpska većina na sjeveru zemlje ne priznaje neovisnost Kosova i smatra ga sastavnim dijelom Srbije.

Napad se dogodio tek nekoliko sati nakon raspoređivanja policije, kada su "osobe s puškama zapucale iz automobila" na policijsko vozilo, navodi se u priopćenju ministarstva unutarnjih poslova. "Jedan je policajac lakše ranjen", dodaje se.

Kosovski policajci albanske nacionalnosti raspoređeni su kako bi nadomjestili sigurnosnu prazninu nastalu nakon kolektivnog odlaska mjesnih Srba iz vladinih ustanova, pa tako i iz policije, navodi kosovska vlada.

Ostavke su bile odgovor na odluku Kosova da automobilske registarske pločice koje izdaje Beograd zamijeni kosovskim.

Srpski čelnici i policajci nisu se vratili na posao, a premijer Albin Kurti pristao je odgoditi primjenu odluke.

Voditelj ureda srpske vlade za Kosovo Petar Petković osudio je raspoređivanje i zaprijetio povratkom srpskih snaga na Kosovo.

Kosovski ministar unutarnjih poslova Xhelal Svecla istaknuo je da je ta mjera "nužna" kako bi se zajamčila sigurnost.

Napetosti su izbile kada je Kosovo raspisalo lokalne izbore za 18. prosinca. Glavna srpska politička stranka najavila je bojkot izbora.

Beograd ne želi priznati neovisnost Kosova proglašenu 2008. Kosovo je bivša srbijanska pokrajina s većinskim albanskim stanovništvom, a priznale su ga Sjedinjene Države i većina zemalja Europske unije.

Srpska manjina ima oko 120.000 od 1,8 milijuna stanovnika Kosova.

Jedan je policajac lakše ranjen na sjeveru Kosova u napadu na ophodnju nakon raspoređivanja kosovskih policajaca albanske nacionalnosti potaknutog ostavkom srpskih pripadnika redarstvenih snaga, priopćila je u petak kosovska policija.

Odluka kosovske vlade o raspoređivanju policajaca na tom nestabilnom području u četvrtak navečer mogla bi dodatno pojačati napetost između Beograda i Prištine dok srpska većina na sjeveru zemlje ne priznaje neovisnost Kosova i smatra ga sastavnim dijelom Srbije.

Napad se dogodio tek nekoliko sati nakon raspoređivanja policije, kada su "osobe s puškama zapucale iz automobila" na policijsko vozilo, navodi se u priopćenju ministarstva unutarnjih poslova. "Jedan je policajac lakše ranjen", dodaje se.

Kosovski policajci albanske nacionalnosti raspoređeni su kako bi nadomjestili sigurnosnu prazninu nastalu nakon kolektivnog odlaska mjesnih Srba iz vladinih ustanova, pa tako i iz policije, navodi kosovska vlada.

Ostavke su bile odgovor na odluku Kosova da automobilske registarske pločice koje izdaje Beograd zamijeni kosovskim.

Srpski čelnici i policajci nisu se vratili na posao, a premijer Albin Kurti pristao je odgoditi primjenu odluke.

Voditelj ureda srpske vlade za Kosovo Petar Petković osudio je raspoređivanje i zaprijetio povratkom srpskih snaga na Kosovo.

Kosovski ministar unutarnjih poslova Xhelal Svecla istaknuo je da je ta mjera "nužna" kako bi se zajamčila sigurnost.

Napetosti su izbile kada je Kosovo raspisalo lokalne izbore za 18. prosinca. Glavna srpska politička stranka najavila je bojkot izbora.

Beograd ne želi priznati neovisnost Kosova proglašenu 2008. Kosovo je bivša srbijanska pokrajina s većinskim albanskim stanovništvom, a priznale su ga Sjedinjene Države i većina zemalja Europske unije.

Srpska manjina ima oko 120.000 od 1,8 milijuna stanovnika Kosova.

Jedan je policajac lakše ranjen na sjeveru Kosova u napadu na ophodnju nakon raspoređivanja kosovskih policajaca albanske nacionalnosti potaknutog ostavkom srpskih pripadnika redarstvenih snaga, priopćila je u petak kosovska policija.

Odluka kosovske vlade o raspoređivanju policajaca na tom nestabilnom području u četvrtak navečer mogla bi dodatno pojačati napetost između Beograda i Prištine dok srpska većina na sjeveru zemlje ne priznaje neovisnost Kosova i smatra ga sastavnim dijelom Srbije.

Napad se dogodio tek nekoliko sati nakon raspoređivanja policije, kada su "osobe s puškama zapucale iz automobila" na policijsko vozilo, navodi se u priopćenju ministarstva unutarnjih poslova. "Jedan je policajac lakše ranjen", dodaje se.
