Zagrebački nadbiskup kardinal Josip Bozanić u nedjelju je na Dan državnosti tradicionalno služio Misu za domovinu te istaknuo važnost ispitivanja istine o prošlosti hrvatskog naroda koji je na putu slobode bio vođen Božjom pripadnošću.

Tko ispita hrvatsku prošlost i put do slobode hrvatskog naroda, susrest će tamo Boga u ljudima koji su bili nošeni Božjom pripadnošću. Njihova žrtva dio je božanske ljubavi i nikada ne smije izblijediti, istaknuo je Bozanić u homiliji predvodeći Misu za domovinu u crkvi sv. Petra u Vlaškoj ulici.

Na Misi za domovinu nazočili su, nakon polaganja vijenaca na Medvedgradu, predsjednik Sabora Gordan Jandroković, premijer Andrej Plenković te ministri Tomo Medved, Nina Obuljen Koržinek, Tomislav Ćorić, Radovan Fuchs i Gordan Grlić Radman. Nazočan je bio i apostolski nuncij  mons. Giorgio Lingua, pripadnici vojske i policije te drugi vjernici.

Govoreći o hrvatskoj prošlosti zadnja tri desetljeća, Bozanić je ustvrdio da se ona dogodila pred našim očima, a ne u nekoj nejasnoj davnini.

"Pa ipak kao da toliko puta zatvaramo oči i srce prepuštajući da se ta prošlost iskrivljuje i da blijede čudesna djela ljubavi", rekao je kardinal.

Danas je, dodao je, hrvatskom narodu upućen poziv da ispita prijašnja vremena, kako se "u hrvatskoj prošlosti može osjetiti da je i nas Bog pridružio onim narodima koje je vodio kušnjama, ali i znakovima i čudesima".

Čestitajući hrvatskom narodu i vjernicima Dan državnosti, istaknuo je da je svaki narod pozvan čitati svoju povijest u odnosu prema Božjem planu i njegovim djelima.

"U prošlosti hrvatskog naroda ima puno razloga koji vode divljenju. U cijeloj povijesti uključujući posljednja tri desetljeća, nalazi se povijest zajedništva s Bogom", istaknuo je.

Bog nas, kaže kardinal, poziva da ispitamo svoju prošlost da bismo u njoj pronašli Božju prisutnost i svoju pripadnost kao i svoje stranputice. To je polazište za sadašnjost i daje nam unutarnju snagu za ciljeve kojima težimo, rekao je Bozanić istaknuvši da istina o prošlosti treba biti temelj hrvatske sadašnjosti, ali i svih budućih napora.

Kardinal je ustvrdio i da "političke slobode nema bez slobode duha" te pozvao na suprotstavljanje primamljivim ponudama blagostanja koje šire sebičnost te vode u ropstvo i razaranje duha.

Zagrebački nadbiskup kardinal Josip Bozanić u nedjelju je na Dan državnosti tradicionalno služio Misu za domovinu te istaknuo važnost ispitivanja istine o prošlosti hrvatskog naroda koji je na putu slobode bio vođen Božjom pripadnošću.

Tko ispita hrvatsku prošlost i put do slobode hrvatskog naroda, susrest će tamo Boga u ljudima koji su bili nošeni Božjom pripadnošću. Njihova žrtva dio je božanske ljubavi i nikada ne smije izblijediti, istaknuo je Bozanić u homiliji predvodeći Misu za domovinu u crkvi sv. Petra u Vlaškoj ulici.

Na Misi za domovinu nazočili su, nakon polaganja vijenaca na Medvedgradu, predsjednik Sabora Gordan Jandroković, premijer Andrej Plenković te ministri Tomo Medved, Nina Obuljen Koržinek, Tomislav Ćorić, Radovan Fuchs i Gordan Grlić Radman. Nazočan je bio i apostolski nuncij  mons. Giorgio Lingua, pripadnici vojske i policije te drugi vjernici.

Govoreći o hrvatskoj prošlosti zadnja tri desetljeća, Bozanić je ustvrdio da se ona dogodila pred našim očima, a ne u nekoj nejasnoj davnini.

"Pa ipak kao da toliko puta zatvaramo oči i srce prepuštajući da se ta prošlost iskrivljuje i da blijede čudesna djela ljubavi", rekao je kardinal.

Danas je, dodao je, hrvatskom narodu upućen poziv da ispita prijašnja vremena, kako se "u hrvatskoj prošlosti može osjetiti da je i nas Bog pridružio onim narodima koje je vodio kušnjama, ali i znakovima i čudesima".

Čestitajući hrvatskom narodu i vjernicima Dan državnosti, istaknuo je da je svaki narod pozvan čitati svoju povijest u odnosu prema Božjem planu i njegovim djelima.

"U prošlosti hrvatskog naroda ima puno razloga koji vode divljenju. U cijeloj povijesti uključujući posljednja tri desetljeća, nalazi se povijest zajedništva s Bogom", istaknuo je.

Bog nas, kaže kardinal, poziva da ispitamo svoju prošlost da bismo u njoj pronašli Božju prisutnost i svoju pripadnost kao i svoje stranputice. To je polazište za sadašnjost i daje nam unutarnju snagu za ciljeve kojima težimo, rekao je Bozanić istaknuvši da istina o prošlosti treba biti temelj hrvatske sadašnjosti, ali i svih budućih napora.

Kardinal je ustvrdio i da "političke slobode nema bez slobode duha" te pozvao na suprotstavljanje primamljivim ponudama blagostanja koje šire sebičnost te vode u ropstvo i razaranje duha.

Zagrebački nadbiskup kardinal Josip Bozanić u nedjelju je na Dan državnosti tradicionalno služio Misu za domovinu te istaknuo važnost ispitivanja istine o prošlosti hrvatskog naroda koji je na putu slobode bio vođen Božjom pripadnošću.

Tko ispita hrvatsku prošlost i put do slobode hrvatskog naroda, susrest će tamo Boga u ljudima koji su bili nošeni Božjom pripadnošću. Njihova žrtva dio je božanske ljubavi i nikada ne smije izblijediti, istaknuo je Bozanić u homiliji predvodeći Misu za domovinu u crkvi sv. Petra u Vlaškoj ulici.

Na Misi za domovinu nazočili su, nakon polaganja vijenaca na Medvedgradu, predsjednik Sabora Gordan Jandroković, premijer Andrej Plenković te ministri Tomo Medved, Nina Obuljen Koržinek, Tomislav Ćorić, Radovan Fuchs i Gordan Grlić Radman. ...
