Biskupski vikar za grad Zagreb mons. Mijo Gorski u ponedjeljak je uputio vrlo oštru kritiku zagrebačkom gradonačelniku Milanu Bandiću vezano za izgradnju crkve na Trnjanskoj Savici.
Dogodilo se to na gradonačelnikovom predbožićnom prijemu za svećenike koji vrše pastoralnu službu na području Zagreba u palači Dverce, pred mnoštvom uzvanika i svećenika.
Mons. Gorski poručio je Bandiću kako sa žaljenjem mora iznijeti tugu i nevjericu tisuća građana vjernika u Zagrebu vezano za problematiku izgradnje novih crkava na području grada.
- Bio sam potpuno uvjeren da ćemo ove godine riješiti pitanje lokacije za crkvu Bl. Alojzija Stepinca na Trnjanskoj Savici, za koju se postupak vodi već punih 15 godina, kao i za crkvu Bl. Ivana Merza u Španskom, gdje se desetak godina traži rješenje problema. Čini se kao da svaku inicijativu pri samom završetku spriječi nečastivi – istakno je u svom govoru Gorski uz napomenu da je to morao reći budući da vjernici “znaju da se večeras susrećemo i pitat će me: Biskupe što si učinio da riješiš naš problem?”.
Gorski je istaknuo kako na području Zagreba moraju graditi još 10 novih crkava s pripadajućim prostorom posebice ako se zna da su “župne zajednice u Zagrebu brojčano velike, riječ je o desetcima tisuća građana vjernika koji ne mogu ostvariti svoje osnovno ljudsko i vjersko pravo, imati prikladan prostor za okupljanje i bogoslužje.”
- Oni ne mogu razumjeti zašto, kao građani koji svojim radom i prirezom doprinose razvoju Grada Zagreba, ne mogu ostvariti svoja prava. Oni ne mogu razumjeti činjenicu da se grad Zagreb razvio na 19 kvadratnih kilometara crkvenog zemljišta na kojem su izgrađene ceste, škole, vrtići i stanovi koje koriste stotine tisuća građana, od čega svi imaju korist, a ne može se pronaći nekoliko lokacija za izgradnju toliko potrebnih crkava – rekao je Gorski u svom govoru.
Naglasio je i kako se “svi zakoni, ako su nepravedni, mogu i moraju mijenjati, da je svaki problem rješiv ako postoji dobra volja.” te kako je svjestan sam da jedan čovjek ne može sâm učiniti mnogo, ali u sinergiji djelovanja Skupštine grada Zagreba, Gradskog poglavarstva i Zagrebačke nadbiskupije.

Biskupski vikar za grad Zagreb mons. Mijo Gorski u ponedjeljak je uputio vrlo oštru kritiku zagrebačkom gradonačelniku Milanu Bandiću vezano za izgradnju crkve na Trnjanskoj Savici.
Dogodilo se to na gradonačelnikovom predbožićnom prijemu za svećenike koji vrše pastoralnu službu na području Zagreba u palači Dverce, pred mnoštvom uzvanika i svećenika.
Mons. Gorski poručio je Bandiću kako sa žaljenjem mora iznijeti tugu i nevjericu tisuća građana vjernika u Zagrebu vezano za problematiku izgradnje novih crkava na području grada.
- Bio sam potpuno uvjeren da ćemo ove godine riješiti pitanje lokacije za crkvu Bl. Alojzija Stepinca na Trnjanskoj Savici, za koju se postupak vodi već punih 15 godina, kao i za crkvu Bl. Ivana Merza u Španskom, gdje se desetak godina traži rješenje problema. Čini se kao da svaku inicijativu pri samom završetku spriječi nečastivi – istakno je u svom govoru Gorski uz napomenu da je to morao reći budući da vjernici “znaju da se večeras susrećemo i pitat će me: Biskupe što si učinio da riješiš naš problem?”.
Gorski je istaknuo kako na području Zagreba moraju graditi još 10 novih crkava s pripadajućim prostorom posebice ako se zna da su “župne zajednice u Zagrebu brojčano velike, riječ je o desetcima tisuća građana vjernika koji ne mogu ostvariti svoje osnovno ljudsko i vjersko pravo, imati prikladan prostor za okupljanje i bogoslužje.”
- Oni ne mogu razumjeti zašto, kao građani koji svojim radom i prirezom doprinose razvoju Grada Zagreba, ne mogu ostvariti svoja prava. Oni ne mogu razumjeti činjenicu da se grad Zagreb razvio na 19 kvadratnih kilometara crkvenog zemljišta na kojem su izgrađene ceste, škole, vrtići i stanovi koje koriste stotine tisuća građana, od čega svi imaju korist, a ne može se pronaći nekoliko lokacija za izgradnju toliko potrebnih crkava – rekao je Gorski u svom govoru.
Naglasio je i kako se “svi zakoni, ako su nepravedni, mogu i moraju mijenjati, da je svaki problem rješiv ako postoji dobra volja.” te kako je svjestan sam da jedan čovjek ne može sâm učiniti mnogo, ali u sinergiji djelovanja Skupštine grada Zagreba, Gradskog poglavarstva i Zagrebačke nadbiskupije.
