Ministar obrane Mario Banožić večeras je bio na sastanku u Vladu zbog pada letjelice u Zagrebu, a u Banskim dvorima je dao intervju Dnevniku Nove TV.
- Na osnovu podataka koje smo prikupili u četvrtak navečer netom poslije samog incidenta otišli smo u dva pravca - jedan je rad na samom terenu gdje je pala letjelica, a drugi pravac odnosio se na sve one zemlje članice NATO saveza gdje se unutar radarskih sustava zabilježilo kretanje letjelice, kazao je ministar obrane Mario Banožić.
Na pitanje zna li se otkud je letjelica došla, Banožić je kazao da se zna i da će to u subotu potvrditi. Ministar obrane kazao je kako sa sigurnošću može potvrditi da je letjelica došla iz Rumunjske.
Dodaje kako je dron unutar rumunjskog zračnog prostora bio svega tri minute, a potom je ušao u prostor Mađarske u kojem se zadržao 40 minuta.
Podatak gdje je bio prije Rumunjske ostavit će za subotu, jer, kako je kazao, time se definira dubina terena u koju je letjelica mogla ući.
Na konstataciju novinarke kako su se Mađari hvalili da su oni Gripenima nadgledali tu letjelicu te pitanje je li razgovarao s mađarskim kolegom i ima li novih saznanja, Banožić je rekao kako misli da je tu nastao najveći problem.
- I Rumunji su trebali obavijestiti Mađare, a isto tako Mađari su trebali obavijestiti hrvatske snage. Ali ostavit ćemo to za naše koordinacije s NATO saveznicima, rekao je za Dnevnik Nove TV.
- Govoreći o samom sustavu nacionalne sigurnosti i kad govorimo samo o sustavu NATO saveza, svi smo iskomunicirali međusobno i potvrdili smo što se događalo u kojem momentu, a spomenuti događaj koji se odnosi na Gripene bilježi jednu drugu pojavu u radarskom sustavu Mađarske koja se pojavila u petak oko podneva. Oni su primijetili na ekranu radarskih sustava letjelicu, podigli su Gripene, mi smo također stavili naše protuzračne snage u stanje pripravnosti, međutim Gripeni nisu mogli pronaći tu letjelicu, nestala je s radara, pojasnio je Banožić.
Kaže kako će sutra sa sigurnošću moći potvrditi rutu kretanja. - Nama je poznata ruta Rumunjska - Mađarska, ali nas zanima i dubina terena odakle je došla, ističe Banožić.
I Ukrajinci i Rusi kazali su da letjelica nije njihova. Na pitanje zna li se čija je, Banožić je kazao kako ''nije ni hrvatska'' te dodao kako se radi na tome da se pokaže točna lokacija.
NATO je priznao da je uočio letjelicu i da ju je samo pratio. Na pitanje je li NATO to odradio na razini, ministar obrane je istaknuo kako bi reakcija u Hrvatskoj bila potpuno drukčija da je javljeno onako kako se uistinu trebalo događati, a reakcija NATO-a i međusobna komunikacija je podigla novu razinu pripravnosti unutar PZO-a, što nama u ovom trenutku kao članici NATO saveza odgovara.
- Zaključili smo da naša protuzračna obrana ima ograničene sposobnosti, a s ovim stanjem pripravnosti podigli smo se u tom segmentu, a cilj nam je da idući tjedan u Washingtonu razgovaramo na temu protuzračne obrane naših partnera koji nas prate 25 godina, naveo je Mario Banožić.
U Washington će ići timovi Ministarstva obrane i vanjskih poslova.
Na pitanje možemo li dobiti proturaketni štit, Banožić je odgovorio kako ga imamo kroz NATO, ali je ovdje riječ o samom sustavu informiranja i detektiranja unutar radarskog sustava i predaje informacija. Na pitanje o odgovornosti, kazao je kako je o tome trenutno teško govoriti.
Na pitanje čemu plaćamo članarinu NATO-u ako u ovakvim situacijama nemamo zaštitu, ministar obrane je kazao kako to ne bi tako rekao.
- Mi kao NATO članica imamo kvalitetan sustav, ovo je situacija sustava informiranja koja je uozbiljila sve koji su se pojavili u kontekstu međusobne koordinacije, kako s ministrom obrane Mađarske, tako i s ministrom obrane Rumunjske i Slovenije, kazao je.

Ministar obrane Mario Banožić večeras je bio na sastanku u Vladu zbog pada letjelice u Zagrebu, a u Banskim dvorima je dao intervju Dnevniku Nove TV.
- Na osnovu podataka koje smo prikupili u četvrtak navečer netom poslije samog incidenta otišli smo u dva pravca - jedan je rad na samom terenu gdje je pala letjelica, a drugi pravac odnosio se na sve one zemlje članice NATO saveza gdje se unutar radarskih sustava zabilježilo kretanje letjelice, kazao je ministar obrane Mario Banožić.
Na pitanje zna li se otkud je letjelica došla, Banožić je kazao da se zna i da će to u subotu potvrditi. Ministar obrane kazao je kako sa sigurnošću može potvrditi da je letjelica došla iz Rumunjske.
Dodaje kako je dron unutar rumunjskog zračnog prostora bio svega tri minute, a potom je ušao u prostor Mađarske u kojem se zadržao 40 minuta.
Podatak gdje je bio prije Rumunjske ostavit će za subotu, jer, kako je kazao, time se definira dubina terena u koju je letjelica mogla ući.
Na konstataciju novinarke kako su se Mađari hvalili da su oni Gripenima nadgledali tu letjelicu te pitanje je li razgovarao s mađarskim kolegom i ima li novih saznanja, Banožić je rekao kako misli da je tu nastao najveći problem.
- I Rumunji su trebali obavijestiti Mađare, a isto tako Mađari su trebali obavijestiti hrvatske snage. Ali ostavit ćemo to za naše koordinacije s NATO saveznicima, rekao je za Dnevnik Nove TV.
- Govoreći o samom sustavu nacionalne sigurnosti i kad govorimo samo o sustavu NATO saveza, svi smo iskomunicirali međusobno i potvrdili smo što se događalo u kojem momentu, a spomenuti događaj koji se odnosi na Gripene bilježi jednu drugu pojavu u radarskom sustavu Mađarske koja se pojavila u petak oko podneva. Oni su primijetili na ekranu radarskih sustava letjelicu, podigli su Gripene, mi smo također stavili naše protuzračne snage u stanje pripravnosti, međutim Gripeni nisu mogli pronaći tu letjelicu, nestala je s radara, pojasnio je Banožić.
Kaže kako će sutra sa sigurnošću moći potvrditi rutu kretanja. - Nama je poznata ruta Rumunjska - Mađarska, ali nas zanima i dubina terena odakle je došla, ističe Banožić.
I Ukrajinci i Rusi kazali su da letjelica nije njihova. Na pitanje zna li se čija je, Banožić je kazao kako ''nije ni hrvatska'' te dodao kako se radi na tome da se pokaže točna lokacija.
NATO je priznao da je uočio letjelicu i da ju je samo pratio. Na pitanje je li NATO to odradio na razini, ministar obrane je istaknuo kako bi reakcija u Hrvatskoj bila potpuno drukčija da je javljeno onako kako se uistinu trebalo događati, a reakcija NATO-a i međusobna komunikacija je podigla novu razinu pripravnosti unutar PZO-a, što nama u ovom trenutku kao članici NATO saveza odgovara.
- Zaključili smo da naša protuzračna obrana ima ograničene sposobnosti, a s ovim stanjem pripravnosti podigli smo se u tom segmentu, a cilj nam je da idući tjedan u Washingtonu razgovaramo na temu protuzračne obrane naših partnera koji nas prate 25 godina, naveo je Mario Banožić.
U Washington će ići timovi Ministarstva obrane i vanjskih poslova.
Na pitanje možemo li dobiti proturaketni štit, Banožić je odgovorio kako ga imamo kroz NATO, ali je ovdje riječ o samom sustavu informiranja i detektiranja unutar radarskog sustava i predaje informacija. Na pitanje o odgovornosti, kazao je kako je o tome trenutno teško govoriti.
Na pitanje čemu plaćamo članarinu NATO-u ako u ovakvim situacijama nemamo zaštitu, ministar obrane je kazao kako to ne bi tako rekao.
- Mi kao NATO članica imamo kvalitetan sustav, ovo je situacija sustava informiranja koja je uozbiljila sve koji su se pojavili u kontekstu međusobne koordinacije, kako s ministrom obrane Mađarske, tako i s ministrom obrane Rumunjske i Slovenije, kazao je.
