Bio sam u Budimpešti te uživo u srijedu navečer gledao hrvatsku vaterpolsku reprezentaciju protiv Grčke.

Vidio sam opet onu volju, onu kvalitetu i koncentraciju koju su naši imali prije tri godine, i to baš u Budimpešti na Svjetskom prvenstvu kad su otišli do kraja te ostvarili veličanstven uspjeh - započinje naš sugovornik, legendarni vaterpolist Dubravko Šimenc, svoje viđenje hrvatske reprezentacije u Budimpešti i najavljuje današnju bitku za finale.

Nije nakon pobjede protiv Grčke u četvrtfinalu te plasmana u polufinale Europskog prvenstva bilo euforije, već sam vidio trinaest naših igrača koji su se popeli samo jedan kat više, a koji znaju kako još nisu došli do cilja.

Marko Bijač je na prvenstvu opet fantastičan. Naši bekovi su jaki i pouzdani. Jedna i druga strana napada je opasna i ubojita, a dva centra su upravo onakvi kakvi trebaju biti. Imamo te dvije ‘stijene’, koje će uvijek dobiti, tj. izboriti veliki broj igrača više.

Statistički je sve bilo odlično, i igrač manje, i igrač više protiv Grčke, a to nije bezazlena reprezentacija. S obzirom na uspjehe njihovim mladih igrača, to je reprezentacija pred kojoj je budućnost.

‘Možemo uzeti zlato’

Svaka utakmica na velikom natjecanju je priča za sebe. Naša reprezentacija opet piše lijepu priču za knjigu o drugom desetljeću uspjeha hrvatskog vaterpola. Vjerujem kako još nije zaključila ovu stranicu, kako će priča iz Budimpešte 2020. s EP-a biti još ljepša.

Španjolska je na putu do polufinala izbacila Srbiju u ruletu peteraca, a to bi mogao biti i jedan od mogućih raspleta za ući u finale. Španjolska je kvalitetan suparnik. Zaslužuje respekt.

Kad gledam s tribina našu klupu, i kad vidiš na njoj jednog od naših najboljih trenera – Ivicu Tucka, pored njega dva velika sportaša i čovjeka, Milu Smodlaku i Sandra Sukna, zatim kondicijskog trenera Pera Kuterovca, našeg doktora Borisa Labara, te najtrofejnijieg fizioterapeuta Damira Luketića, mogu biti miran jer znam kako će oni učiniti sve da nas razvesele.

Uz sve kvalitete protivnika, naša vrsta u Budimpešti je svih ovih dana prikazala vrhunski vaterpolo. Kao navijač sam oduševljen što su pokazali, a zbog svega navedenog sam uvjeren u novu pobjedu!

‘Furija’ je naša mušterija na euro smotrama

Hrvatska kontra Španjolske, posljednji veliki dvoboj dogodio se u polufinalu SP-a lani u Gwangjuu koji je završio našim porazom. Inače, u međusobnim ogledima smo bolji. Na EP-ima su nas Španjolci dobili samo jednom, jednom je bilo neriješeno, dok su naši pet puta slavili.

Od tih pet trijumfa dva su kada je Španjolska bila domaćin EP-a. Prvi put smo ih ‘dotukli’ u Sevilji 1997., drugi put 2008. u Malagi. Dva puta smo se ogledali u Budimpešti, 2001. smo slavili u četvrtfinalu, a 2014. u skupini je završilo bez pobjednika.

Bio sam u Budimpešti te uživo u srijedu navečer gledao hrvatsku vaterpolsku reprezentaciju protiv Grčke.

Vidio sam opet onu volju, onu kvalitetu i koncentraciju koju su naši imali prije tri godine, i to baš u Budimpešti na Svjetskom prvenstvu kad su otišli do kraja te ostvarili veličanstven uspjeh - započinje naš sugovornik, legendarni vaterpolist Dubravko Šimenc, svoje viđenje hrvatske reprezentacije u Budimpešti i najavljuje današnju bitku za finale.

Nije nakon pobjede protiv Grčke u četvrtfinalu te plasmana u polufinale Europskog prvenstva bilo euforije, već sam vidio trinaest naših igrača koji su se popeli samo jedan kat više, a koji znaju kako još nisu došli do cilja.

Marko Bijač je na prvenstvu opet fantastičan. Naši bekovi su jaki i pouzdani. Jedna i druga strana napada je opasna i ubojita, a dva centra su upravo onakvi kakvi trebaju biti. Imamo te dvije ‘stijene’, koje će uvijek dobiti, tj. izboriti veliki broj igrača više.

Statistički je sve bilo odlično, i igrač manje, i igrač više protiv Grčke, a to nije bezazlena reprezentacija. S obzirom na uspjehe njihovim mladih igrača, to je reprezentacija pred kojoj je budućnost.

‘Možemo uzeti zlato’

Svaka utakmica na velikom natjecanju je priča za sebe. Naša reprezentacija opet piše lijepu priču za knjigu o drugom desetljeću uspjeha hrvatskog vaterpola. Vjerujem kako još nije zaključila ovu stranicu, kako će priča iz Budimpešte 2020. s EP-a biti još ljepša.

Španjolska je na putu do polufinala izbacila Srbiju u ruletu peteraca, a to bi mogao biti i jedan od mogućih raspleta za ući u finale. Španjolska je kvalitetan suparnik. Zaslužuje respekt.

Kad gledam s tribina našu klupu, i kad vidiš na njoj jednog od naših najboljih trenera – Ivicu Tucka, pored njega dva velika sportaša i čovjeka, Milu Smodlaku i Sandra Sukna, zatim kondicijskog trenera Pera Kuterovca, našeg doktora Borisa Labara, te najtrofejnijieg fizioterapeuta Damira Luketića, mogu biti miran jer znam kako će oni učiniti sve da nas razvesele.

Uz sve kvalitete protivnika, naša vrsta u Budimpešti je svih ovih dana prikazala vrhunski vaterpolo. Kao navijač sam oduševljen što su pokazali, a zbog svega navedenog sam uvjeren u novu pobjedu!

‘Furija’ je naša mušterija na euro smotrama

Hrvatska kontra Španjolske, posljednji veliki dvoboj dogodio se u polufinalu SP-a lani u Gwangjuu koji je završio našim porazom. Inače, u međusobnim ogledima smo bolji. Na EP-ima su nas Španjolci dobili samo jednom, jednom je bilo neriješeno, dok su naši pet puta slavili.

Od tih pet trijumfa dva su kada je Španjolska bila domaćin EP-a. Prvi put smo ih ‘dotukli’ u Sevilji 1997., drugi put 2008. u Malagi. Dva puta smo se ogledali u Budimpešti, 2001. smo slavili u četvrtfinalu, a 2014. u skupini je završilo bez pobjednika.

Bio sam u Budimpešti te uživo u srijedu navečer gledao hrvatsku vaterpolsku reprezentaciju protiv Grčke.

Vidio sam opet onu volju, onu kvalitetu i koncentraciju koju su naši imali prije tri godine, i to baš u Budimpešti na Svjetskom prvenstvu kad su otišli do kraja te ostvarili veličanstven uspjeh - započinje naš sugovornik, legendarni vaterpolist Dubravko Šimenc, svoje viđenje hrvatske reprezentacije u Budimpešti i najavljuje današnju bitku za finale.

Nije nakon pobjede protiv Grčke u četvrtfinalu te plasmana u polufinale Europskog prvenstva bilo euforije, već sam vidio trinaest naših igrača koji su se popeli samo jedan kat više, a koji znaju kako još nisu došli do cilja.

Marko Bijač je na prvenstvu opet fantastičan. Naši bekovi su jaki i pouzdani. Jedna i druga str...
