Hrvatski tenisač Marin Čilić i Norvežanin Casper Ruud borit će se tijekom petka za jedno mjesto u finalu Roland Garrosa, drugog u godini Grand Slam turnira.

Nakon što je u dramatičnih pet setova Čilić slomio ruskog tenisača Andreja Rubljova, u polufinalu mu se pridružio Ruud koji je u četiri seta svladao 19-godišnjeg Danca Holgera Runea 6-1, 4-6, 7-6(2), 6-3.

Prošle dvije godine 23-godišnji Ruud je zapinjao u trećem kolu Roland Garrosa, dok je prošle godine igrao osminu finala Australian Opena. No, ove godine na pariškoj zemlji ispisao je svoje najuspješnije dane na Grand Slam turnirima, ali ne samo on.

- Nisam samo ja u pitanju. Moram spomenuti Ulrikke Eikeri koja se plasirala u finale mješovitih parova. Ovo je uistinu veliki dan za norveški tenis - naglasio je Ruud koji se potom kratko osvrnuo na ono što ga čeka u polufinalu.

- Naravno da imam šansu za finale i došao sam na korak do velikog ostvarenja. No, slične šanse mojima ima i Marin Čilić koji će biti novi iznimno težak suparnik. Čilić iza sebe ima sjajan turnir, igra odlično u Parizu ove godine. Fokus mora biti maksimalan i za finale treba odraditi još jedan briljantan meč - poručio je Ruud.

Hrvatski tenisač Marin Čilić i Norvežanin Casper Ruud borit će se tijekom petka za jedno mjesto u finalu Roland Garrosa, drugog u godini Grand Slam turnira.

Nakon što je u dramatičnih pet setova Čilić slomio ruskog tenisača Andreja Rubljova, u polufinalu mu se pridružio Ruud koji je u četiri seta svladao 19-godišnjeg Danca Holgera Runea 6-1, 4-6, 7-6(2), 6-3.

Prošle dvije godine 23-godišnji Ruud je zapinjao u trećem kolu Roland Garrosa, dok je prošle godine igrao osminu finala Australian Opena. No, ove godine na pariškoj zemlji ispisao je svoje najuspješnije dane na Grand Slam turnirima, ali ne samo on.

- Nisam samo ja u pitanju. Moram spomenuti Ulrikke Eikeri koja se plasirala u finale mješovitih parova. Ovo je uistinu veliki dan za norveški tenis - naglasio je Ruud koji se potom kratko osvrnuo na ono što ga čeka u polufinalu.

- Naravno da imam šansu za finale i došao sam na korak do velikog ostvarenja. No, slične šanse mojima ima i Marin Čilić koji će biti novi iznimno težak suparnik. Čilić iza sebe ima sjajan turnir, igra odlično u Parizu ove godine. Fokus mora biti maksimalan i za finale treba odraditi još jedan briljantan meč - poručio je Ruud.

Hrvatski tenisač Marin Čilić i Norvežanin Casper Ruud borit će se tijekom petka za jedno mjesto u finalu Roland Garrosa, drugog u godini Grand Slam turnira.

Nakon što je u dramatičnih pet setova Čilić slomio ruskog tenisača Andreja Rubljova, u polufinalu mu se pridružio Ruud koji je u četiri seta svladao 19-godišnjeg Danca Holgera Runea 6-1, 4-6, 7-6(2), 6-3.

Prošle dvije godine 23-godišnji Ruud je zapinjao u trećem kolu Roland Garrosa, dok je prošle godine igrao osminu finala Australian Opena. No, ove godine na pariškoj zemlji ispisao je svoje najuspješnije dane na Grand Slam turnirima, ali ne samo on.

- Nisam samo ja u pitanju. Moram spomenuti Ulrikke Eikeri koja se plasirala u finale mješovitih parova. Ovo je uistinu veliki dan za norveški tenis - naglasio je Ruud...
