Bivša prva tenisačica svijeta 42-godišnja Amelie Mauresmo je nova direktorica Roland Garrosa, s mandatom do 2024. godine, objavio je dnevnik Le Figaro. 

Time je postala prva žena na tom položaju. Na čelnoj poziciji pariškog Grand Slama naslijedila je Guyja Forgeta, koji je od 2016. bio direktor Roland Garrosa, a odlazi budući da mu ugovor ističe na kraju godine.

Također, postala je druga žena na čelu Grand Slam turnira, nakon Kanađanke Stacey Allaster, koja je direktorica US Opena.

Mauresmo, koja je osvojila Australian Open (2006) i Wimbledon (2006), zaključila je igračku karijeru 2009. Nakon toga bila je stručna komentatorica za tv postaje, izbornica francuske Fed Cup i Davis Cup reprezentacije, te trenerica. Jedno vrijeme bila je trenerica Andyja Murrayja.

Bivša prva tenisačica svijeta 42-godišnja Amelie Mauresmo je nova direktorica Roland Garrosa, s mandatom do 2024. godine, objavio je dnevnik Le Figaro. 

Time je postala prva žena na tom položaju. Na čelnoj poziciji pariškog Grand Slama naslijedila je Guyja Forgeta, koji je od 2016. bio direktor Roland Garrosa, a odlazi budući da mu ugovor ističe na kraju godine.

Također, postala je druga žena na čelu Grand Slam turnira, nakon Kanađanke Stacey Allaster, koja je direktorica US Opena.

Mauresmo, koja je osvojila Australian Open (2006) i Wimbledon (2006), zaključila je igračku karijeru 2009. Nakon toga bila je stručna komentatorica za tv postaje, izbornica francuske Fed Cup i Davis Cup reprezentacije, te trenerica. Jedno vrijeme bila je trenerica Andyja Murrayja.

Druga žena na čelu Grand Slam turnira: bivša prva tenisačica svijeta nova je direktorica Roland Garrosa

Bivša prva tenisačica svijeta 42-godišnja Amelie Mauresmo je nova direktorica Roland Garrosa, s mandatom do 2024. godine, objavio je dnevnik Le Figaro. 

Time je postala prva žena na tom položaju. Na čelnoj poziciji pariškog Grand Slama naslijedila je Guyja Forgeta, koji je od 2016. bio direktor Roland Garrosa, a odlazi budući da mu ugovor ističe na kraju godine.

Također, postala je druga žena na čelu Grand Slam turnira, nakon Kanađanke Stacey Allaster, koja je direktorica US Opena.

Mauresmo, koja je osvojila Australian Open (2006) i Wimbledon (2006), zaključila je igračku karijeru 2009. Nakon toga bila je stručna komentatorica za tv postaje, izbornica francuske Fed Cup i Davis Cup reprezentacije, te trenerica. Jedno vrijeme bila je trenerica Andyja Murrayja.
